00:02Look at this, it's showing up and showing out as usual.

00:07You're performing tonight, how do we feel?

00:08I feel so excited, man.

00:10I think it's going to be a really special performance.

00:12Doing it with my boy, Steven Wilson Jr., who's, like I said,

00:16every artist's favorite artist is what I call him, so, yeah.

00:19Yeah, he's an incredible artist.

00:20I listened to the song before I came here today,

00:22the way that your voices, like, melt together in that track.

00:27And to have it on a movie, how do you feel?

00:29Man, it feels awesome.

00:31You know, it feels like God orchestrated the whole thing because, man,

00:34whenever you get the chance to ask Steven Wilson who his favorite person is in the world,

00:38it's Steven King.

00:39So, I remember as soon as I started writing it, I looked at everyone in the room,

00:43I was like, we need to get Steven Wilson on this.

00:45I don't even know why.

00:45Something just tells me to get Steven Wilson, and that's how energy works sometimes, right?

00:50And come to find out, he's read the books, he knows the lore, all of it.

00:54And so it's really cool to have someone that's, I think we did Steven King and, you know,

00:59Francis Lawrence and everyone on the project really proud.

01:01Yeah, I mean, that's coming from a massive Steven King fan myself, so it is so cool to see.

01:06He's awesome, like, reading his books constantly.

01:08Yeah.

01:08But you are also an artist's artists through and through.

01:11Yeah.

01:12You clearly have such an incredible collaborative spirit.

01:14Yeah.

01:15Is there an artist that you would love, maybe someone that people wouldn't expect that you

01:20would like to try collaborating with and blending your styles together?

01:23Man, you know, I actually met Hayley Williams the other day, and she's actually a Nashville

01:28legend, and she was born here.

01:31She was raised here, so it would be really cool to do something with her.

01:33We talked about it, but I've got to follow up with her as soon as I get the chance.

01:37I would love to hear that.

01:38I mean, that would be something, because we've been talking a lot about genre blending in general

01:43on the carpet today.

01:44And, like, I think rock and country, they have similar roots, like they're historically

01:49intertwined, so it would be so cool to see.

01:51And, I mean, you also, your star just keeps on getting brighter.

01:55How do you stay grounded as, like, who do you turn to to stay grounded as you keep going?

01:59Just my managers, my team, the label, everyone that's in, just my team, really.

02:04You know, they helped me just, you know, they were with me when I was, you know, just trying

02:08to figure it out and wasn't, had the confidence of a peanut, you know what I mean?

02:11So, no, you know, they're trying to still coach me into getting the confidence of an elephant.

02:16But, you know, those guys, really, I lean on them for everything.
