00:00Previously on June Farms.
00:02My name is Matt Baumgartner, and I'm the owner of June Farms.
00:05We're a wedding business.
00:07We have a hotel business.
00:10We have a bar, we have a restaurant,
00:12and we are the premier events destination of upstate New York.
00:16If they're giving out Michelin stars for Farms, I'd like three of them.
00:19And I really want to do it with you guys.
00:21Aww.
00:24Oh!
00:25Layton and I met at June Farms.
00:27Been in a relationship for the past year and a half.
00:29That looks good.
00:30Bro, you're blushing right now.
00:32I'm sorry.
00:33I get nervous.
00:34I got a sweating too, bro.
00:35I'm definitely crushing on Jill.
00:37Are you sure you're going to finish this platform by Friday?
00:41I cannot believe I'm showing this beautiful bride a dirty mud pit.
00:46Yeah, freaking out a little bit.
00:48I would describe the look on her face as horror.
00:52We said Enchanted Forest.
00:53I was so nervous.
00:54And you delivered.
00:55At the end of the day, if they say that was the best wedding you could have asked for,
00:57that's all I want to hear.
00:58Hi guys.
00:59Hey everyone.
01:00How are you?
01:01How are you?
01:02How are you?
01:03How are you?
01:04How are you?
01:05How are you?
01:06How are you?
01:07How are you?
01:08How are you?
01:09How's daddy?
01:10Hi guys.
01:24Hey everyone.
01:24How are you?
01:26Howdy there.
01:29Here's daddy.
01:31All right.
01:35Okay, so great job everybody, by the way.
01:38That wedding was really fun.
01:41She was really happy.
01:42The ceremony set looked beautiful.
01:44Everything was really well done, and thank you guys for that.
01:48It's Thursday.
01:49We have dog park night tonight.
01:50We're all set for that.
01:51For now, Tom, Jill, Kelly.
01:54But you guys are bartending.
01:55That's an easy, easy breezy party.
01:57Thursdays are our famous dog park night.
02:00It feels like one of the most popular nights at the farm.
02:02It's just like so many dogs.
02:04It's so fun.
02:05We also have a wedding coming up this weekend.
02:07And so let's talk about this couple for a second.
02:10Matthew and Kalilah, their backstory.
02:13They were high school sweethearts.
02:15They have two beautiful boys together.
02:17And, you know, life sort of got in the way of them getting married.
02:20So they've been waiting for this for a very long time.
02:23The groom's mother, Pamela, was a regular at my very first restaurant in Albany, and I adore her.
02:29So these guys have chosen the hilltop site for their ceremony.
02:35The reception is going to be under the tent, which we're going to deck out in white birch trees.
02:40Also, Pamela, the mother's favorite.
02:42She's going to have her glam squad getting her all decked out in timeless silver jewelry,
02:46which I really think is going to look stunning with that pink rose bouquet she'll be holding.
02:50And then, meanwhile, the groom will be getting ready in one of our new wellness huts.
02:55So we have to get that finished, like, ASAP.
02:59It's looking like it's going to rain on Saturday, so I have to call the bride and discuss the rain plan with her.
03:04But it's like a 97% chance.
03:06Holy shit, look at all this rain in the next five days.
03:09Like, literally all day long.
03:12One of the things that's a little tricky about upstate New York is that we've had a very rainy spring,
03:17but this is the truth.
03:17We've actually never had one rain out for a wedding in the entire time that we've been doing weddings at June Farms.
03:23Not once.
03:24In, like, six years, that's a fact.
03:27So, I mean, I'm hoping that this wedding coming up doesn't get rained out, but it looks like it is likely.
03:32Rain plan would be inside the tent.
03:33But dinner and dancing are under the tent this weekend, though.
03:37When it comes to events at June Farms, the majority of the events that we handle are weddings,
03:41but oftentimes I handle other things like graduation parties, anniversaries, birthday parties, barn crawls, dog park night, family nights.
03:49I love my job at June Farms, but it's hard at times.
03:53I definitely need some assistance this year.
03:56We'll find somebody.
03:57All right.
03:58Wait, me and Ellie will be the assistance?
03:59Events is something that I want to do as a career, and working with Victoria, kind of being under her wing, they're going to help me do that.
04:08Okay, I think we're all set.
04:10Let's have a good week.
04:11Yay!
04:14Hi.
04:15Did you want something?
04:16Well, I was just going to ask if you needed help with anything.
04:19Today?
04:19I don't, but those guys are setting up, like, for dog park night.
04:24I'm not sure what they would need.
04:25Okay.
04:26Okay, thanks.
04:27I feel like I don't have a place at June Farms right now.
04:31What?
04:31This was the cool car.
04:34There's definitely a clicky atmosphere at June Farms, but I'm interested in working at events because my favorite part is watching the couple be, like, over the moon happy.
04:45I think it's just, it's cute.
04:47Dog park night.
05:03Woo-hoo!
05:03We're going to have 75 dogs on.
05:06That's actually so exciting.
05:07It's so cute.
05:08You get to look at all their different personalities.
05:10Aw.
05:10And the different owners and how they present them.
05:14I'm so happy we're down here together.
05:15I know, dude.
05:16This is our own little sanctuary down here.
05:17Dude, it really is.
05:18We're in our own little world, but.
05:21Oh, we got enough candles lit?
05:22How are we looking here?
05:27See my rainbow tattoo?
05:28Is that new?
05:29Kind of new.
05:30I want to get more tattoos like you.
05:32Throw them on my arm.
05:33Throw them everywhere.
05:34Feel super cute.
05:35I don't know.
05:36All these things.
05:37Aren't they cute?
05:38I like them.
05:39I do need to ask her on a date in just a very casual way.
05:44I've talked to Ellie about it.
05:45Ellie just keeps telling me that Jill's not a dating girl.
05:48So should I, like, ask her out on a date sometime?
05:50She said something to me the other day where she was like, um, I think I'm interested in
05:54Tom again.
05:55And I was like, oh yeah, Jill?
05:57And she was like, she's like, yeah, I don't know.
05:59Like, there's no pressure to it, but I don't know.
06:01There's no pressure to it.
06:02But the thing is, is that if you go to her and be like, listen, this is the plan, she's
06:06going to be like, absolutely not.
06:08She's always like, let's go with the flow.
06:09I mean, I'll plan it, but I'll just tell her, all on the flow.
06:12Yeah.
06:12You just need a man up and get it going.
06:15I just get blushy.
06:16I get blushed up.
06:17I don't usually ever blush, but it's about Jill.
06:19I don't know what it is.
06:20Can you just get one more knife?
06:22So we're not, like, waiting for a knife for each other.
06:24Because that's kind of my pet peeve.
06:26Waiting on my knife.
06:28I hate waiting for a tool.
06:38We took the boat out when you were in Miami, right?
06:41Yeah.
06:41Wasn't it so amazing?
06:42It was great.
06:43It was really great.
06:45Let's go.
06:47How's the farm been for you this year?
06:49It's been stressful.
06:50It's tough to build and stay in a deck when it's pouring out all week.
06:55There were a lot of challenges that made the whole project more difficult.
07:00We have both been saying something's not right with Josh.
07:03And I've been worried about you.
07:04So we've all been trying to elevate this farm to a five-star spot.
07:08And Josh has let me down.
07:10So I thought it would be a good idea to take him out in the boat to have some fun, have
07:14some drinks, or do something that is casual and relaxing.
07:17And then we talk about the stuff that I want to talk about.
07:20Victoria and Josh I work with the most.
07:23But Josh is like my, you know, guy.
07:25I want him to get his spark back.
07:28Like, you aren't good at saying, I need help.
07:30You aren't good at saying, like, I'm hurting.
07:33You're a big fan of holding it in and being quiet and not talking about it and just imploding.
07:39To me, you've always been the heart of the farm.
07:41And for me to see you for the past couple of years kind of flounder and go through a
07:45hard time has been hard for me.
07:47When my marriage was coming to a conclusion, that whole, that phase of my life, I felt
07:55like I was kind of dying.
07:59Oh my God.
08:00It was heartbreaking.
08:01It was really the most heartbreaking thing I've seen in a very long time and just felt
08:06so sad for you.
08:08Yeah.
08:08I met my ex-wife right around the same time as I took the job working for Matt.
08:13But I noticed that she would get home from work later and later and wouldn't make eye
08:20contact with me.
08:21It seemed like her attention was drifting elsewhere.
08:24So that was the beginning of the end and the relationship deteriorated from there.
08:30Did she apologize to you?
08:31She did.
08:33Okay.
08:34Yeah.
08:34She apologized?
08:35He told me that.
08:36Yeah.
08:36Oh, that's something.
08:38Because you need closures.
08:39Yeah.
08:40After the breakup, I'm sad and lonely and I've got a huge hole in my life.
08:49He's had a rough couple of years and look at how much he's accomplished too.
08:52How much he's grown.
08:53He's grown tremendously.
08:53I feel like I've been through the ringer and that I'm a stronger person because of it.
09:02So that's good.
09:04It feels like even though we were so busy and had so much going on at the farm, taking
09:08Josh out on that boat was a good call because we connected and had a great conversation.
09:13Hopefully Josh gets his head in the game because I need everyone there to be at their
09:17best.
09:18I just don't understand why you're not at the bar meeting all the gorgeous girls there.
09:23Yeah.
09:24Yeah.
09:37No, vodka, lemonade.
09:39Two of them, please.
09:40Two?
09:40All right.
09:41I can cash you out.
09:41Cash your card today.
09:42Okay.
09:42Okay.
09:42Okay.
09:48How's it going?
09:50Fire.
09:50Good.
09:50How are you doing?
09:50Good.
09:51Thanks.
09:53He's huge.
09:55He's a run to the list.
09:56No way.
09:58I've been swearing just to let you know.
10:00Who swears at a dog park?
10:02Me.
10:02I swear at a dog park.
10:04About a dog with my old girlfriend.
10:05You ever see the dog?
10:06Nope.
10:07Do you still talk to your ex-girlfriend?
10:08Nope.
10:09That's good.
10:09A couple months now.
10:10It's been like four months now, I think.
10:12That's not long at all.
10:13You guys broke up like two years ago.
10:15I'm just...
10:16We can move on.
10:18Does working with Jill make it harder to take things to the next level?
10:21Seems like if your work cut out for you.
10:23More than most.
10:25And what's dangerous is she's got her best friend here, too.
10:28So anything I say here, she's going to know.
10:29Anything she knows, she's going to know.
10:31So I'm dealing with like...
10:33You're smarter than I thought.
10:34Most men don't really understand that concept.
10:36So like props to you for that.
10:39So?
10:40Can we go on a date then?
10:41Maybe.
10:43So is it a yes?
10:44It's a yes.
10:45I'll give you a yes.
10:46Sure.
10:47Yeah.
10:47All right.
10:47Cool.
10:47Cool.
10:48Whatever.
10:51Dog night with Jill.
10:53Love it.
10:54Highlight of my weed there.
10:55Yeah.
10:56Better be.
10:56Fucking it.
10:57Better be.
10:58Love it.
10:58I love it.
11:18The chickens keep eating my grass seed every time I put it down over here.
11:24Is there any way that you can put a little bit of chicken wire fencing up around this?
11:29It's going to rain the next like few days.
11:31So I just want to get all this grass seed down today.
11:32We're using this.
11:33We're using this for a ceremony.
11:34We're using this for a ceremony.
11:35Thank you very much.
11:35Thank you very much.
11:35I don't think of my grass interest as an obsession.
11:40I don't think of my grass interest as an obsession.
11:44I think it's healthy and normal to want an amazing lawn.
11:52I just want every single patch of the entire farm to just look lush and stunning, beautiful
11:58grass everywhere.
11:59While I'm using like not normal grass seed, it's like fast acting.
12:03I think if you don't have an amazing lawn, it looks like you don't have your life together.
12:10Hi, Frank.
12:19I'm still new and getting to know everyone and like learn my way at the farm, but I need
12:25to make a little bit more of an effort to talk to people.
12:27It's just not easy when it's in the middle of work.
12:31Hi.
12:32How are you?
12:33So I want to grab dinner with Victoria and like talk about working in events with her.
12:40Cheers.
12:42Excited to get out of the farm.
12:44I know.
12:45How's it been going so far?
12:47Pretty good.
12:48Yeah.
12:49Yeah.
12:49I mean, it's definitely like a new environment.
12:51I feel like some of the people are a little bit like clicky with each other.
12:55So it's been kind of hard to like adjust in that way.
12:58I think it kind of comes from like a lot of them have been around since the beginning.
13:02And a lot of them are friends outside of work.
13:04So it makes it really hard to like come in and kind of get into the crowd.
13:08So I totally know what you mean.
13:09Yeah, once I found out that you were like newer, it was like kind of more unsettling.
13:13Oh, at least like someone else hasn't been there forever.
13:15Yeah.
13:16So how was your day?
13:18It was insane.
13:19I ended up losing track of time and was rushing to get to the farm and my phone was blowing
13:23up with texts, phone calls, emails, everything.
13:25Then I got to the farm and we had an event going on.
13:28So I'm just a little all over the place.
13:31But I mean, I really need help.
13:33I'm like swamped.
13:34No, I know.
13:35It's hard with Matt because he's just so specific about how he likes things, which is totally
13:39fine.
13:39It's his business and his venue.
13:40But it's like when I started, all the chairs had to be at a certain angle and stuff like
13:44that.
13:44And those are just like little things that Matt likes, the lighting levels, the sound
13:48level.
13:48Yeah.
13:48So I would get yelled at for something I didn't even know was a rule.
13:51So I have a whole document, too, that I keep track of.
13:54Every time Matt gives me a new rule, I add it in my document so I can keep track of it.
13:58Not only do I need help, I need reliable help.
14:02I've worked a lot of events in the past.
14:05I've done huge like bridal showers and baby showers and stuff, but I've never done like
14:09a wedding.
14:11Would you have any interest in like getting into events a little bit more?
14:13Yeah, definitely.
14:14I think Leah has a lot of potential.
14:16I can see that she's definitely interested in events.
14:19I think she just needs someone to take her under their wing and just kind of guide her.
14:23We kind of get you on the event side of things.
14:24I can kind of run through how we do things at June Farms, what it looks like.
14:28Like the things that are going through my mind throughout the day, too.
14:30So that'll kind of like help you pick up on those things.
14:33But I think that might be a great place to start if you're open to it.
14:36The event sounds super crazy busy, but like I'm excited to learn.
14:42And also like I think that the farm is going to grow exponentially.
14:46And there's a lot of opportunity for growth for myself.
14:50I would eventually like to be in a spot similar to Victoria.
14:55Events is where I feel like I can just like serve the most purpose.
14:59I'm excited for this plan.
15:00I think it'll be good if we get you in and then go from there.
15:04Yeah.
15:05That sounds good.
15:05Yeah, that does sound good.
15:07It's the day before the wedding.
15:30And to add to the pressure, we're opening the wedding stops for the first time for the groomsmen to get ready in them.
15:36That was a huge project and I am finishing that myself.
15:39This is what I do at June Farms.
15:41I do everything.
15:41June Farms.
15:43Hi.
15:43I was calling about the barn crawl on Saturday.
15:47How long does it take to see all the animals?
15:49It really depends on how long you want to spend with each animal and how long you want to talk to the bartender.
15:54I would give yourself at least two hours.
15:57Okay.
15:57All right.
15:58That's what I wanted to know.
15:59You're welcome.
16:00I just worry that it won't be as great if I'm not so controlling with every little detail, I guess.
16:11Oh, that's fun.
16:12It's a little bit of a moldable.
16:18It's a little bit of a touchy.
16:32Working at June Farms and owning June Farms, it takes over my life.
16:36It has become my life.
16:37And it takes so much of my time and I have very little time to myself and a personal life.
16:41So when my boyfriend Mike shows up to see me, it makes me happy and it calms me down.
16:45And I just love it when he spends time with me at the farm.
16:48What's up?
16:48How's it going?
16:49How's it going?
16:51You too.
16:51Well, we met almost two years ago to the day.
16:54Where?
16:55At your lake house.
16:56Just randomly?
16:57You just showed up randomly?
16:58We just met randomly?
16:59We met online on a common dating app.
17:02Are you so embarrassed?
17:03Which I won't mention.
17:04Shall we?
17:05Yeah.
17:05Okay.
17:06We'll be back.
17:07We're going to grab the golf carts.
17:08I mean, he's super handsome, obviously.
17:10And then I was introduced to this whole world.
17:12We were drinking and I saw all the animals and the whole world was just like so glamorous
17:17and amazing.
17:18And I think I was just drawn into it.
17:20Yeah, it is.
17:20I mean, it's a glamorous farm.
17:22Look at the trees we put in there.
17:23They're birch trees.
17:25Those look nice.
17:26I know.
17:34Boop.
17:36What's up?
17:36Fill me up?
17:37Can I just say what's on my mind?
17:38Yeah.
17:39I don't like when you just spring it on me that you're going away.
17:42I have two days off.
17:43I look forward to seeing you.
17:44It's just like, all I ask for is a conversation about it.
17:46Because it's like, I was hoping to like go on the lake and take a boat out.
17:49Wait, I told you this last week.
17:51That you're going away to New York City?
17:52Yeah.
17:52No, no, no, no.
17:53I was born and raised in Queens.
17:56And when the pandemic hit, I came to the Hudson Valley to quarantine at my parents' place.
18:01And I happened to meet Matt.
18:02And I feel like I fell in love very quickly.
18:06I'm being needy.
18:07I get it.
18:07But it's just like, I only have two days off.
18:09And I was like looking forward to like stunning them here.
18:11But there were ups and there were downs.
18:13And we would break up and we would get back together.
18:15And it became a little more rocky.
18:17Yeah, I thought I told you this like a week ago.
18:19Can you just think about it?
18:20Sure.
18:20But I did say a week ago that that's what I was doing, just for the record.
18:23I mean, is there anything pressing going on down there?
18:25No, no, of course not.
18:26That's what I mean.
18:27Yeah.
18:30We'll talk about it.
18:32I feel like we're just on very different pages in our life.
18:35I mean, he's much younger.
18:36You know, he likes to be a little bit more socially active and like traveling around the world.
18:39It's just like not my favorite thing to do.
18:41The farm takes a lot out of me, especially socially.
18:44So when I'm not at the farm, I just kind of like want to chill.
18:48But listen, Mike is one of my favorite people on the planet.
18:51I love spending my time with him.
18:53I told you the other day, like, don't sweat little things.
18:57You got to just chill out.
18:58Oh, I know.
18:58But you say that always right before you deliver something that's going to annoy me.
19:02But you should give me a pass on little things.
19:05It's not like the end of the world.
19:06It's not little to me because it's like I only have so many days off and I would like to spend them with you.
19:10I mean, I would like to spend my free time with you.
19:12It's a compliment.
19:14Appreciate it.
19:14This is Pam.
19:30She's the mother of the groom.
19:31Can you help her with the cooler?
19:34Yep.
19:36All right, guys.
19:37I'm going to have everyone gather over here.
19:39All right.
19:39I'm following instructions now.
19:41We're going to run through the ceremony rehearsal right now.
19:44In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be under the tent instead of up here.
19:48I'll have you guys walk down together.
19:50My job at June Farms is, like, the most fun job in the world, but also the most stressful job in the world.
19:56This is my second season here.
19:58And Matt has never had somebody in this role come back for part two.
20:02Have you ever been a flower girl before?
20:04Are you excited?
20:05It's going to be fun.
20:07Pretend to throw your petals.
20:08It's going to be fun.
20:09It's going to be fun.
20:10It's going to be fun.
20:11It's going to be fun.
20:12It's going to be fun.
20:13It's going to be fun.
20:14It's going to be fun.
20:15It's going to be fun.
20:16Okay.
20:17I'm newly married this March, and I really haven't got to spend any time with my husband since
20:22coming back for this season, and it feels impossible to have a work-life balance while being here.
20:28You guys can go down and then just go off to the right-hand side for me.
20:33And then once they're all the way down and off to the side, you guys will meet in the middle
20:38and just walk down together.
20:39Picture, kiss, and then we're done?
20:41Yep.
20:42By 345, we'll want to have you hidden away in the pony barn.
20:46Does that work?
20:47Yep.
20:47All right.
20:47Perfect.
20:48Thank you for bringing me to Capriccio, my home.
20:57I know.
20:58I love this place.
20:59Cheers.
21:00I need just some, like, one-on-one time with you and just to get all my crazy thoughts out
21:06of my head and just relax, so I'm excited for this.
21:08What's the number one crazy for you?
21:09It's just getting everything ready for weddings, and it's just getting it all done.
21:13No, no, no.
21:13Everyone's good.
21:13It's just, it's all good.
21:15It's just busy.
21:15I usually don't drink, but I'm, like, had two glasses of wine before I get in.
21:18You keep saying this every day.
21:20Well, because I'm with you.
21:22I'm driving you to drink?
21:23All of, everybody's driving me to drink.
21:26I've known Tess for 25 years.
21:29This week, Tess is helping me with the weddings like she usually does.
21:33She is my consigliere with any problems that I have.
21:37Just calms me down and is a person that I can talk to about the problems that I'm having
21:41at work and in my personal life.
21:43I feel like you brought me here for my first time.
21:45Yeah, and I'm glad that you bring people here because this is my home.
21:48Michael loves this place.
21:49I love Michael.
21:50Me too.
21:52You driving him nuts?
21:53I think I am driving him nuts.
21:55I mean, I feel like I'm always driving him nuts.
21:57You're hard to read.
22:01Am I?
22:02Yes.
22:03Why?
22:04You beat and switch.
22:05You change your mind all the time.
22:07True.
22:08You're moving too fast.
22:09Nobody knows what you're thinking.
22:11Right.
22:11He does say that a lot.
22:13He says that Michael's a gentleman.
22:15Oh my God, he feels like he's on a rollercoaster ride.
22:19Yeah.
22:19He really is.
22:20You're going to say, we're going to do this and this and this, and then you switch.
22:22Yeah.
22:23I think he's too nice to you.
22:25I know you always say that.
22:27Is he?
22:28Does he tell you to go fuck yourself?
22:30No.
22:31I think he's too nice to you.
22:32Because it has been so crazy at the farm, like, I'm just constantly moving and moving
22:41and moving, and I feel like Mike is so calm, and when I think part of him likes the fact
22:47that I'm so, like, so opposite of him, and I think what I love most about him is also
22:51how opposite he is of me.
22:52I worry that, like, he'll just get over it.
22:56I'm more worried about you feeling that way.
22:58I lose interest very quickly.
23:01I think straight people have, like, a seven-year itch.
23:02I think gay people have, like, a two-year itch.
23:04I think two years in, I'm kind of like, I just don't want to feel like I'm trapped,
23:10and that's the word I'm going to use by choice.
23:11I have to start making different efforts to, like, be a better boyfriend to him, for
23:16sure.
23:16I just am not good in relationships.
23:18That's because your longest relationship has been me, and my longest relationship has
23:23been you.
23:23That's true.
23:41Oh, this weather is a bummer.
23:49I know.
23:50We've never had a rain out for a wedding, so it's the first time that I've ever had
23:54to change the original plan.
23:55It's going to be a challenge.
23:57The new plan is to have it in the event tent.
24:00It's not my favorite because it's kind of basic.
24:02We'll just have to make the event tent look as gorgeous as we can possibly do.
24:06It gets so much extra pressure because the ceremony's at five, and it's raining.
24:11So just trying to not move so many tables so that we have enough time to flip the ceremony
24:17and not run past cocktail hour, thinking it would be a lot easier to line all the tables
24:21perfectly in a row and use these chairs, and that would give us a lot more space than moving
24:26the tables with the chairs.
24:27It would be easier.
24:28I just don't want it to look sad in pictures.
24:30Like, why are there no chairs around the tables?
24:32Well, she made this floor plan.
24:33No way that we can make the ceremony in this little space.
24:36Have her just get married right here and, like, keep the table set up our hour.
24:40You can fit 50 people here and 50 people there.
24:42I would be so game for that.
24:45Okay.
24:45Yeah.
24:45We got it.
24:46I think that's nice.
24:48Agreed.
24:48That's why we're so good at this.
24:51I like this idea.
24:53Layton and Matt clearly have a history of being friends, but being the head of events, everybody
25:00that's scheduled on an event, I'm in charge of that staff for the day.
25:03All right, do we want to slide tables and do rows of 12?
25:09Do I have a choice?
25:11I know that Layton has been, you know, with the farm since the beginning.
25:16No, I feel like that's too tight.
25:18Yeah, that's too much.
25:18Like, you smelling the breath of the person reading that.
25:21Yeah, I'd love to be sitting right there, man.
25:23Sometimes Layton has been annoying to me.
25:25She doesn't want anyone walking on this except for her.
25:30Then they can get to the chairs on the other side.
25:33How many bridesmaids are there?
25:37Six.
25:37I have faith in Victoria.
25:40I know that she can handle any weather condition.
25:42And she has asked Leah and Jill to help her with the wedding.
25:46And of course, we have Layton there to help break down tables, do set up, and anything else
25:50pretty much that Victoria needs him to do for this wedding.
25:53Should I bring two bottles of Prosecco or one?
25:55Two.
25:56Two?
25:56Yeah, the more merrier.
25:58So, we have to do the reserve signs on these.
26:03And then we need to cut this aisle runner to length.
26:06This is going to look really pretty.
26:08I feel really good about this.
26:09Can I do, like, a cluster in front of, like, the welcome sign here?
26:14And maybe at the end of the aisle just to add a little something.
26:16To bring all of them?
26:17Layton, can you hear that?
26:18Can you grab some lanterns?
26:21Here, come out to your right.
26:24Yeah.
26:26You know, events is something that I want to do.
26:29And I watch my best friend, and I watch some other random girl that just got brought in
26:33doing what I could be doing.
26:36And I don't like it.
26:38It makes me jealous.
26:38And I feel like I can do this better, you know?
26:48Hi, guys.
26:53Hi.
26:54My name is Jill.
26:55It's so nice to meet you, guys.
26:56That's my bouquet.
26:57Yeah.
26:58Those are gorgeous.
27:00So, anything that you guys need literally all day, just let me know.
27:03I have the rest of your flowers coming as well.
27:06My eyes are crying already.
27:08I also have some Prosecco.
27:10Great.
27:12We're done for now.
27:14We're done for now?
27:15Yes, ma'am.
27:15Are you sure we shouldn't do anymore?
27:16Because we've got to go do photos soon.
27:18I am going to head up here around, like, I would say 320, because I do want you guys
27:23in the pony barn at 345.
27:25How is the rain outside?
27:27It's not stopping, and it's pretty heavy, but I'm hoping that means that it's just going
27:32to stop.
27:32I'm manifesting it, girl.
27:34Okay.
27:35How's the tent looking?
27:36It looks beautiful.
27:37Yeah, they're doing a really good job.
27:45And we're off.
27:48Okay, we'll take a peek.
27:58The opening of those wellness huts are beautiful, and we have our first guests there, and I
28:02care so much about the experience for the bride and the groom.
28:04Wow, look at this.
28:06This is nice, man.
28:08I want them to love them.
28:10Wow, look at this.
28:12It's just important to me that when they look back at this wedding at June Farms, that
28:15it is exactly what they wanted.
28:17Up back, you've got a little sauna in the morning when you're hungover.
28:19Oh, yeah.
28:21So, I think they were a success.
28:23That's awesome.
28:24I appreciate it.
28:24Yeah, no problem.
28:25Hi, how are you doing?
28:31I'm doing good.
28:33We're wrapping up.
28:33Good.
28:33You look beautiful.
28:35So, if you want more time to get ready, I have the option to get you guys more around like
28:394.15, 4.30.
28:40Yes, I prefer to longer time.
28:42Absolutely.
28:42All right, I'm going to update everyone, and then, so I'll be back here at like 4.10 for
28:47you guys, and then earlier, like, the better, but again, your schedule, your day.
28:51Okay.
28:52It's raining, and bride is late, so it's just like a stressful situation.
28:56Whatever you want, girl.
28:57Yeah, I appreciate it.
28:58Yeah, of course.
28:59Yeah, of course.
28:59But, not going to tell anybody what to do on their wedding day.
29:10Can you curl that a couple times?
29:12Curl it.
29:13Curl it.
29:16Hi, Jill.
29:17Hi.
29:17Okay, so, the bride is not going to be ready, and so instead of them hanging out in the pony
29:24barn while the guests arrive, I'm going to give them more time to get ready.
29:27So, you don't need me to pick them up at the lodge?
29:29Not until 4.30.
29:32Okay.
29:32Okay.
29:33Got you.
29:33Yep.
29:35I need a Xanax.
29:38How's it going?
29:46You can make your way right to the event tent if you'd like.
29:51How are you?
29:52Just waters for now.
29:54Waters for now.
29:56So, I want to say this without crying.
29:58I love you.
30:00Thank you for having us here.
30:03I've known Pam, the mother of the groom, for years, and it felt very special to connect with
30:10her.
30:11So, my favorite tree is a birch tree.
30:13Shut up.
30:14It is.
30:14Do you know that we have them in the tent?
30:16Do you know that about me?
30:17Your son was saying that, and he was saying how much they mean to you, and it's like, feels
30:21like we now have this, like, birch tree bond under this tent that's, like, crazy.
30:24That's so funny.
30:25Thank you so much.
30:26Yeah, of course.
30:27I want to show it to you.
30:28I really hope this is everything that she hoped that it would be.
30:31That was so good.
30:33Have fun tonight.
30:34I'm here for you if you need anything.
30:35All right.
30:40Yeah, um, the girls are just slowly making their way down.
30:42We're driving them so they don't get wet in the shuttle.
30:45So, Matt's on his way down with them now.
30:50Absolutely.
30:51It's 4.30.
30:52Everything's fine.
30:53Hey, do you think that the bridesmaids should start going down just so we can get one trip
30:57out of the way?
30:57Yeah.
30:58Let me go talk to him.
30:59Yeah.
30:59Oh.
30:59She wants to do her first look thing in there.
31:01Okay.
31:02No problem at all.
31:02No worries.
31:02Just checking.
31:04They do know there's a wedding, right?
31:05In, like, five minutes?
31:06Her dress isn't even on yet.
31:09I think I misheard you because it sounded like you just said her dress isn't even on
31:14yet.
31:14Um, I said it.
31:15Does she know what time it is?
31:16She does.
31:17Yep.
31:19I'm hoping we can aim to get on within the next five minutes.
31:22She said she'll make her picture short and then she'll get right in the car.
31:27Make her picture short?
31:28What are you talking about?
31:28It's like, it's not computing.
31:30We've never had this happen before.
31:31There's no room for error on our end.
31:33So for a bride to just be like, we're good.
31:36We're all like, what is happening right now?
31:39A little sunshine in the passage, huh?
31:46They're not in a rush.
31:50Yeah.
31:50Oh, I'm just used to sticking to a schedule so I get nervous.
31:53Where are the girls at?
31:55They're ready for photos.
31:57They're ready for photos.
31:58They should be heading down any minute.
32:03And it's like they're going to miss cocktail hour and everything.
32:10I just put down Hydro Seat over here yesterday.
32:12I'm so excited for the rain.
32:13I'm fresh grassy.
32:15Nice.
32:15Yeah.
32:19She knows that her guests have been sitting down here since 3.30, waiting to get married.
32:23It's the most humid day.
32:26Being late and screw up your entire rest of the day.
32:30The kitchen is on a timeline.
32:32All of your vendors on a timeline.
32:34She just has absolutely no sense of urgency.
32:37Okay.
32:385.30.
32:42I would be losing my mind if I was late for my own wedding.
32:45I may not even go to it.
32:47We're supposed to be in the bar in Fair Cocktail Hour right now.
33:03Maybe.
33:05Let's see these bridesmaids.
33:06How these bridesmaids are looking.
33:08Ready?
33:08You guys can go right behind her.
33:13Here she comes.
33:15Welcome, friends, family, and loved ones.
33:29We are here today to celebrate as we watch Matthew and Kalilah join hands in marriage.
33:34Your commitment is a journey, and it may have tough times ahead.
33:39But the most beautiful part of the journey is reflecting on how you weathered the storms
33:43while driving up the mountains.
33:45Each new destination should be exciting together, and you should know that with faith, this
33:51journey will end up in happiness.
33:54Matthew.
33:55Matthew.
33:56I give you this ring as a symbol of my promise.
33:59I give you this ring as a symbol of my promise.
34:01To love you forever.
34:02To love you forever.
34:04Regardless of what challenges or triumphs we face together.
34:07Matthew and Kalilah, having proclaimed love and commitment to one another in the sight
34:13of these witnesses, and myself, I am so happy to pronounce you husband and wife.
34:18I am so happy to say, man, we have started on the book.
34:29I was just standing on that side and just let guests know they can go to the barn.
34:32Hi, guys.
34:33You can go right over here.
34:34This is the mother of the groom.
34:35This is my friend Tom, my friend Pam.
34:37And talent.
34:38Good.
34:38I was with Matt all day, all morning.
34:40I was the one helping them all out.
34:42When you're ready, you can run right up to that red barn for cocktail hour.
34:45i just need to flip this tent for dinner and i only have an hour oh they have to get it set up
34:50for dinner i forgot i didn't realize yeah after this yeah quick turnaround now that the ceremony
34:55is over it's time to flip the tent from the ceremony setup to the dinner setup it's a very
34:59fast turnaround and we ended up going with matt's plan which of course made things harder because
35:04we had more tables to move than where i originally wanted to set people up and then we'll come up a
35:09little bit like right here it is nice having leah there she's been super helpful just having somebody
35:14by my side all day um and kind of teaching her what i'm doing to kind of shape her mold her into
35:20hopefully a future event coordinator to help out at the fun thank you leah of course
35:35the fact that i'm here and i'm watching other people do something that i wanted to do
35:40i'm getting miserable and angry and upset
35:46i'll smoke with you yeah let's go
35:51i literally don't even know where to put them is there a four foot in here that we can see
35:57i mean i can ask lane to bring in another table where is he there's like kind of a bee slash fly
36:03something around you oh it is me don't do that if anyone can hear me do you know where leighton is
36:13it's just really frustrating to me if somebody wants to also grab chairs and bring them out where
36:18they're gonna go for leighton to just walk away and not giving anyone's a heads up was like my last straw
36:23do you think i'm overreacting no i don't generally makes me feel like that she's out there running
36:30around like doing my job
36:35i've been wanting to cry about this all day i know i was waiting for that
36:41and i just feel like it's being rubbed in my face yet again i agree well i don't want to talk about it
36:47maybe later
36:54what's wrong
36:54i don't know i'm trying to find leigh and i call them to come down here
36:59all their tables so we're adding chairs right now
37:13okay i think we have our whole bridal party out here
37:15here so if i could have everybody on their feet please
37:19and start clapping right now
37:30the wedding was very very very stressful but we made it through
37:53i love having leah's help i'm able to like leave her alone and she doesn't stand around like what am i
37:58supposed to do she starts doing i don't think i would have been able to pull it off without her
38:02because it was so much stuff they brought in yeah i'm glad it's done we got through it in those
38:08experiences like when the rain's coming down and like you don't have an opportunity to think about
38:12it you just have to do it and the fact that i have a team that's like showing up and crushing it
38:16with us and like making it happen and the bride and groom comes in and we're just delivering this
38:21like wonderful experiences the team that i need
38:37i uh okay i have something to talk to you about yeah the fact that i was stuck behind the bar
38:42not having any other job to do but just to sling drinks i don't know i just felt as though
38:48she could have stuck up for me a little bit more and she just didn't and it's just a conversation
38:54that needs to be had tonight you some crazy why like we were like two hours late to like the pony
39:03barn annoying i know it's crazy i'm gonna be for real right now yeah i'm upset that you're put into
39:10bride and you're basically doing my event job just watching like you go have like do something that
39:17i want to do while i'm like sitting opening up the bar it really upsets me when my best friend is out
39:23running around doing the stuff that like i used to do it's not your fault at the same time i feel
39:28like you also love it and you're also milking it and you're also just like yeah put me wherever
39:32you said like your job last year like was like what i was doing today but like do you think it's
39:38like bride's duty in general was your job last year my job last year was bar manager yeah so like we
39:44both know that no no i'm i'm asking i'm asking like what what like what was i doing that was
39:48your job last year like but now i feel like you're coming at me no i'm i'm no i'm no that wasn't your
39:53job last year no i'm at ellie i'm genuinely asking like i'm genuine i i do i swear to god i'm genuinely
39:58asking and i would literally never want to upset you like ever like ever like i feel like you say that
40:04and then you just still do the where it's like was my job that that upsets me okay and that would
40:09i'm sorry you too no absolutely i understand i'm sorry for literally any way that i hurt you in
40:13any way i made you feel like that is my last intention like and i'm sorry for bringing this
40:17up right now no absolutely i'm sorry joe no i don't want you to apologize because i completely
40:22understand what you're saying i would feel the same way if i was in your position like like what the
40:27are we doing joe you know what i mean i know i know and that's why i feel so bad because i'm just like
40:33i shouldn't take it out on you but you're not why do you think you're taking it out on me no do you
40:40think it would be like healthy to have a conversation with victoria and be like i don't understand why i'm
40:44not being put on things or do you like are you at the point where you're just like i don't even care
40:49because like that you don't have to answer it now but it's like that's the thing i don't know yeah you
40:53don't know well you have time to think about it because like i sit here and like days like this
40:57events like this i'm like i want to do events so bad like i want to be on that side listen i get it it
41:03was rightfully very upsetting to see that role be played by your best friend like that's hurtful
41:10and it's honestly like not okay i completely understand where that would have upset her going
41:15forward with events and stuff like what do you want to do i don't know i just like hate this dynamic
41:21like i just hate that it's like it's toxic but at the same time i don't want you to not do your job
41:27because i'm butthurt i know that i'm jealous and i'm butthurt it's the self-awareness but i don't
41:33know i'm a jealous i'm gonna get over it like i just ask that you do communicate because i really
41:38don't mean to hurt your feelings ever that's the thing is that that's why i feel so bad because like
41:43i don't want to have to have it come out like this if i'm being honest i know neither do i
41:49and same goes for you absolutely i know especially when i'm just like
41:54you know you're overthinking i didn't even think i know what you know my you know i know that's good
42:00i know all right fine i'll give her a hug love you i love you victoria runs events so i know for a fact
42:07jill she's not the one to blame but i feel as though she could have stuck up for me a little bit more
42:14and she just didn't but i don't hold a grudge she's my best friend i love you i love you too
42:22would you guys like anything else to drink this evening ladies okay thank you maybe some um dancing
42:27though i have to feed the animals in the morning so i might leave soon sorry we have a new event person
