00:00Good mornin'.
00:10This is June Farms.
00:15When you come to June Farms, it feels like all of your problems in your everyday life.
00:18They just sort of float away.
00:21The farm is a little slice of heaven in the Hudson Valley.
00:24And we are the premier events destination of upstate New York.
00:28We are a wedding business.
00:31We have a hotel business.
00:34We have a bar. We have a restaurant.
00:37We have countless animals that people just show up to see and walk around and have a beer and experience happiness and pure joy.
00:44We have Poppy here.
00:46Butter's here.
00:47Billy's driving the vehicle.
00:49And then we have Crème Fraîche.
00:51They're very sweet.
00:53We always give incredible service to our guests.
00:56We throw all kinds of events on the farm, but the weddings are definitely the most profitable and exciting.
01:02By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife.
01:06You may now kiss the bride.
01:08As peaceful and calm and beautiful as June Farms is, it's not the easiest business to run.
01:14They do know there's a wedding, right?
01:16Yeah.
01:17In like five minutes?
01:18Her dress isn't even on yet.
01:19Where's the music?
01:20Why is it not working?
01:21You guys are impressing at the moment.
01:23The bus is stuck.
01:24Do you have any tires that could come over and pick us up?
01:26Would you get in the back of my pickup truck?
01:27Yeah, we've got 40 girls up.
01:29The rain has started.
01:31Is this real life right now?
01:33I hate these little lawn lanterns.
01:35Oh my God, I'm gonna pass out.
01:40In the Hudson Valley, wedding season goes from May to October.
01:44I want my staff trained and to be June Farms ready for anything.
01:49Everyone has to do their job correctly, otherwise it all falls apart.
01:52I feel a lot of pressure that every event that we have is an absolute success,
01:56because if it isn't, I'm running the risk of the farm not working out,
02:01and me losing literally every single cent that I have.
02:03Hi, Mary. Give me some love.
02:14My name is Matt Baumgartner, and I'm the owner of June Farms.
02:22I grew up in Utica, New York, and then moved to the Hudson Valley.
02:25And as kids, we all grew up outside in the woods playing and working.
02:30At a really young age, I ended up going into the restaurant and bar business.
02:34I went into hospitality because I knew that I would be good at it.
02:38I really care about the details. I care about music, lighting.
02:41I worked really hard and ended up building a restaurant empire in New York.
02:46In 2017, I made a decision that I would sell all of my 15 bars and restaurants
02:51and buy land to build my ultimate dream, a place called June Farms.
02:56June Farms feels like the culmination of all of my past businesses.
03:00It embodies everything that I have learned
03:02and everything that I feel like I have failed from that has brought me to this point.
03:06Hey, everybody. Welcome back for the start of a new season.
03:11This whole season is packed with weddings, events, birthday parties, baby showers.
03:15It feels like this is the first season that June Farms is at a level that big corporations,
03:20like important guests, want to have all of their parties here, all of their weddings.
03:24So that's exciting for all of us. The farm looks beautiful.
03:27And service-wise, I just want to keep growing and keep giving these people, like,
03:30a better and better experience every single time.
03:32If they're giving out Michelin stars for farms, I'd like three of them.
03:35Watching Matt come from the businesses he owned before to what he has done now,
03:40it's super inspiring.
03:42Some other fun things, we had a calf give birth yesterday.
03:45I see that as a really good sign of good luck for the season.
03:48I have a lot of respect for Matt for many different reasons.
03:51He is a leader. He is a strong businessman.
03:55This is my third season working for him.
03:57But his name has been in my ear for years on end.
04:00So tonight we have dueling pianos that sold out.
04:03That's great.
04:04We have wine and swine.
04:06So there is going to be Jen down with the pigs giving out wine.
04:08Tomorrow we have dog park night.
04:11In addition to June Farms being a weekend wedding space,
04:15we also operate as a full, busy public space.
04:18Friday night is also the Albany Symphony fundraiser
04:21that's also open to the public.
04:22Something in my brain doesn't stop me from booking, like,
04:26five huge events every single week.
04:28It's just chaos.
04:30I'd like to ask a favor.
04:32I'd like to not be asked if I can do a shot all the time,
04:37because I will.
04:39I should just be looking at Layden.
04:41I don't even know why I'm looking at anyone else.
04:43I'm just embracing team bonding, but I'll stop.
04:46Matt is a good listener, awesome farmer, great co-worker,
04:50because he's always right there in the weeds with us.
04:53A flirt.
04:58Sorry, it's just there's a lot of random noises that'll be happening here.
05:03I'd like to talk about the weddings that we have coming up.
05:05We have one this weekend that is pretty epic.
05:07Beautiful couple named Safiya and Justin.
05:10Okay, so this bride was working at a restaurant when Justin walks in.
05:15She clocks out to go talk to him.
05:17And before you know it, they move in together.
05:19And then the rest is history.
05:21And then because he proposed in the woods,
05:24they have chosen to transform the middle of the woods
05:27into their own ceremony site.
05:29It's going to be an enchanted forest theme.
05:31To make that happen,
05:32we are going to build a brand new wedding site in the woods.
05:35But it needs like a ton of work.
05:38We have to clear the ferns.
05:39We have to build a platform.
05:41We're going to have tiki torches,
05:42beautiful lanterns positioned on tree stumps.
05:45It has to feel elegant and magical.
05:48So we have a lot of work to do.
05:50I really want this whole season to just be exceptional,
05:54giving these guests like the time of their life
05:56and the experience of their life.
05:57It's a train that I'm on,
05:59and I really want to do it with you guys.
06:03Aw.
06:06Thank you, guys.
06:24What time are the cleaners coming?
06:25What time are the cleaners coming?
06:26I'm the cleaner.
06:27Oh, you're the cleaners.
06:28Yeah, Siobhan has the lodge and your loft
06:29and Johanna has the Airstream, the Hobbit
06:31and cabin one.
06:32So I'm cleaning today.
06:34Our lodging is a mixture of high-end architectural details
06:38and playfulness.
06:42We have these new wellness huts opening up.
06:44Trying to get all the wellness huts done in the same week
06:46that we're trying to build a new ceremony site
06:48has been problematic.
06:50Everyone that works at the farm is at a 10
06:52with the stress level.
06:53I see the sort of, like, I see you shaking,
06:56so I'm worried that you're taking on too much.
06:57No, I'm not.
06:58Michelle, she's in charge of guest hospitality.
07:00I've known her for 20-plus years.
07:02She used to help me mop the floors at my first restaurant
07:04so that I could get out earlier and go drink with her.
07:06We have to have a wellness experience menu for them.
07:09When they're here, it's like, oh, wow,
07:10they have massages and IV drips,
07:12and Michelle's doing hair and makeup.
07:14It would be great if June Farms ultimately succeeds
07:17in the highest level because it would mean that I did it
07:19with my friends.
07:20What are we giving them as a sort of, like,
07:22welcome to the wellness huts?
07:24A welcome note and eggs or a bottle of wine?
07:26Do you know me?
07:27So should we do wine?
07:28Yes.
07:29Let's do wine.
07:30Okay.
07:31I hope that the new wellness huts are very popular
07:33because I like to recoup some of my investment at this farm,
07:36so we have a lot to get done.
07:38Is that a twist-off?
07:39No, but we have wine openers.
07:40We do here.
07:41Okay.
07:50Keep going back.
07:51Yep.
07:52There you go.
07:53All right.
07:54I'm going to run up.
07:55You need anything?
07:56I'm out of here.
07:57Till next time.
07:58Bye.
07:59Wait, Tom.
08:00I need more olives.
08:01Olives?
08:02Yeah.
08:03All right.
08:04Got you, boo-boo.
08:05I'm only having him do one of each wine tonight.
08:06Okay.
08:07For red.
08:08Can everyone on a shift be the lead bartender?
08:10Okay.
08:11So that they're responsible for the cash?
08:13No.
08:14Not me.
08:15Is that Ellie?
08:16Da-da-da-da-da.
08:19Then Jill.
08:20Jill looks good still.
08:21You got that nice kiss, sun-kissed skin and stuff.
08:25A little smile.
08:26She looks...
08:27A little snarky.
08:28She looks good.
08:29I'm definitely crushing on Jill.
08:31Last summer, we kissed.
08:33In my head, it was just fireworks going off.
08:35I was kind of cloud nine.
08:36Oh, I just get butterflies.
08:37Bro, you're blushing right now.
08:39What the...
08:40I get nervous talking about it.
08:41I get a little sweaty, too, bro.
08:43Dude, this tent's too far back.
08:45It's flooding!
08:47Normally, our weddings are on Saturdays and Sundays.
08:49So during the week, we're usually bartending and setting up for the big events.
08:53What would you like to drink?
08:54Can I introduce you in our boat?
08:56Yeah, I can't.
08:57You didn't tell me that it's actually rain coming down.
09:01When people ask me to describe our friendship, I can't even put it into words.
09:06I would say fun.
09:07Yeah, that's a good note.
09:08I would say absolutely fun.
09:10I want to go on the quad right now.
09:12I know.
09:13I don't want to work at all.
09:14Why?
09:15We go way...
09:16Yeah, way back.
09:17I gotta do some math in my brain.
09:18To sixth grade.
09:19So that's 13 years.
09:20Oh, my God.
09:21Oh!
09:22You got me, bro?
09:23Jill!
09:24You got me?
09:25Yeah, I got you.
09:26The tattoo on the back of my arm.
09:27Every flower represents a special woman in my life.
09:28And Jill is one of them.
09:29She's the sunflower.
09:30Can I go faster?
09:31Anybody want a drink?
09:32Oh, Dee's coming.
09:33To be paid to be here and be in a beautiful place and also do it with, like, my best friend
09:36of my life.
09:37And Jill is one of them.
09:38She's the sunflower.
09:39Can I go faster?
09:40Anybody want a drink?
09:41Oh, Dee's coming.
09:42To be paid to be here and be in a beautiful place and also do it with, like, my best friend
09:46is nuts.
09:47Can we be good to do this?
09:48Ellie got me the job here.
09:49Thanks, Ellie.
09:50What, do we have to take out the trash, too?
09:54What the hell?
09:55What, do I have to finish off this bottle of Prosecco because we opened it?
09:59What the hell?
10:00I think so.
10:01Twist my arm.
10:11Look how cute they are.
10:12Hi.
10:13Hello.
10:14How are you?
10:15It's raining and it's like all of a sudden the sun comes out.
10:16Happy wedding week.
10:17I'm freaking out.
10:18I'm so excited.
10:19Do we have to talk in here first or are we going right to the site?
10:20We can go right down there.
10:21I'm ready.
10:22We're good.
10:23All right, follow me.
10:24Do you know if Josh is meeting us?
10:25I think he might be down there right now.
10:26Josh is the June Farms General Farm Manager.
10:27He's phenomenal at projects.
10:28He's phenomenal at taking direction and implementing things at the farm really well the way that I
10:32want it to be done.
10:33He's kind of like the jack of all trades at the farm.
10:35So I rely on him for so much stuff.
10:39Are you guys coming down?
10:41Are you down at the ceremony site?
10:42I am.
10:43Yeah, yeah.
10:44The wedding couple is here.
10:45We're going to hop in a car.
10:46I'll be right down.
10:47Perfect.
10:48Okay.
10:49Yep.
10:50I love seeing the sunshine through all the openings and the trees.
10:51It's so pretty.
10:52Oh my gosh.
10:53A little bit of a construction site, so.
10:54Yeah, you guys might want to hang out back there.
10:55Whoa.
10:56Whoa.
10:57Whoa.
10:58Whoa.
10:59Whoa.
11:00Whoa.
11:01Whoa.
11:02Whoa.
11:03Whoa.
11:04Whoa.
11:05Whoa.
11:07Whoa.
11:08Whoa.
11:09Whoa.
11:10Whoa.
11:11Whoa.
11:12Whoa.
11:13Whoa.
11:14Whoa.
11:15Whoa.
11:16Whoa.
11:17Whoa.
11:18Whoa.
11:19Whoa.
11:20Because of the mud?
11:21Yeah, it's pretty muddy from the rain.
11:24Okay.
11:25Why don't you guys step over here?
11:26I'm going to sort of talk you through what the plan is.
11:28So we have a bunch of logs being cut tomorrow.
11:30We started over there that are going to be kind of like accented with some beautiful lanterns
11:34and white candles.
11:35We have these really gorgeous lanterns that will be placed around the ceremony site with
11:40real candles.
11:41We have all the wood chips going down to be walkable and clean and create a nice like,
11:45you know, pretty look, I guess.
11:48Uh, if you want to see what it looks like, wood chips.
11:52Where we have other wood chips that have been down.
11:54We have, yeah.
11:55We have multiple places including like the playground.
11:57I mean, I can read the expression on your face.
12:06Yeah.
12:07Trust me, it's in my brain.
12:08Yeah, freaking out a little bit.
12:10I cannot believe I'm showing this beautiful bride a dirty mud pit.
12:15I would describe the look on her face as horror.
12:19Plan on everything being done tomorrow.
12:21Yeah.
12:22The good thing is that we'll see it on Friday.
12:23Okay.
12:24So you'll see what all the wood chips feel like.
12:25We can assess it then.
12:26I think I'm just concerned about this weather now and with the rain coming up and wood chips
12:31and an ivory dress.
12:32Right.
12:33Little bit of a concern there.
12:34Have you thought about something you might want to see on the ground that would be sort
12:38of a solution to that?
12:39Yeah, maybe like a runner at least.
12:41You know, I think she's thinking I'm supposed to like build some marble floor and it's like,
12:46I'm not doing that.
12:47So wood chips are really the only option that we use at the farm that I think will look appropriate
12:50for an enchanted forest wedding.
12:54Just to clarify again, for the lights with trees, what did you say that's going to be?
12:57We have little lanterns with candles.
13:01What do you think?
13:03I feel like string lights could have been really pretty as well.
13:11I do want to give them what they want, but in my opinion, putting string lights all in the enchanted forest will look tacky.
13:19One of the things that I like actually about being in control of the weddings at the farm is that I can try to steer her away from that.
13:27I only thought the candles would look prettier just because it feels like the star of the show is you and the forest.
13:33Okay.
13:34Sorry, Justin.
13:38The woods, like this is like a very important thing for us.
13:40Like Justin proposed to me in the woods.
13:42And keep in mind, once you have all the flowers and the roses and the candles and the white from everything,
13:46it's going to be really, really pretty.
13:50I'm so stressed.
13:51I am also so stressed.
13:53I'm just worried she's going to be like,
13:55we trusted you.
13:56You told me about that.
13:57And I don't like that feeling.
13:58I just always want to like deliver.
13:59I look forward to showing you what we will have on Friday.
14:02I look forward to seeing it finished.
14:03All right.
14:04That made me nervous.
14:05Yeah.
14:06I just saw like the look on her face.
14:07Oh, the look of terror.
14:08Yeah.
14:09I feel like the takeaway from that was the muddy part.
14:10Yeah.
14:11What I heard was I'm worried about it being too wet.
14:12Yeah.
14:13I don't even know what to do if it doesn't stop raining about changing that.
14:16Safiya and Justin, they've chosen to have a wedding in the middle of the woods.
14:47I really, really, truly want it to look like
14:49the beautiful enchanted forest that she wants,
14:51but I think it's supposed to rain on the day before the wedding,
14:54so I'm concerned now that it's gonna be muddy
14:57and that she's not gonna like it.
14:58I'm really...
14:59I really hope it ends up working out.
15:01This is new for all of us.
15:03Oh, God, I hope we don't have to run string lights.
15:05That would be...
15:06Yeah.
15:07I thought that a takeaway was
15:10you never ask what the bride wants.
15:12You just tell her what she wants.
15:14Oh, well.
15:17I thought you said that, like, three or four years ago.
15:19I probably did.
15:20I can get nice pictures when the deck is done
15:23and the woodchips are down if you'd like tomorrow.
15:26It's like, hey, it already looks a million times better.
15:28I think we have to really make the platform
15:31look kind of, like, as nice as possible.
15:33Yeah.
15:34So it's like, oh, shit, that's a beautiful platform.
15:36Are you sure you're gonna finish this platform by Friday?
15:39Yeah.
15:41Because I'm the general manager,
15:42I'm feeling the pressure from Matt.
15:44There's a lot of work to be done.
15:46I don't want to disappoint Matt.
15:48It can not get done.
15:51Right?
15:52Of course.
15:53Okay. Yeah.
15:54With the ceremony site, we're gonna put woodchips,
15:57and I'm hoping that they will dry out,
15:59and Josh promised the platform will get done.
16:01I'm thinking of the solutions,
16:02and I'm thinking about what it will look like
16:04at the final moment,
16:05and I really do believe it's gonna be beautiful.
16:07It's gonna be fine.
16:08It's gonna be great.
16:09I'm just worried.
16:10Okay. Thanks, Josh.
16:20This wedding wants to be a signature drink sign.
16:22Hi, guys.
16:23What's the first and last name?
16:25The Lavender Collins is actually our premier drink here.
16:29You gotta post it and tag us at June Fine.
16:31Hi.
16:33How's it?
16:34Good. How are you?
16:35How's it going?
16:36Good.
16:37Excited?
16:38Yeah.
16:39Nervous?
16:40I think we'll be fine.
16:41Yeah.
16:42I'm Leah.
16:43I'm brand new at June Farms,
16:44and I'm very excited to work here.
16:46The farm is beautiful,
16:47and Matt is one of the most well-known people
16:50around this area in the hospitality industry.
16:53I think it's gonna be really awesome to work under him
16:55and to further my knowledge in this field.
16:59I was hired mainly as a server,
17:01but I know that there's a lot of events
17:03that take place at June Farms,
17:05and overall, I'm just super excited
17:07about any opportunity that comes my way.
17:10So you're serving tonight, Leah?
17:11Yeah.
17:12Okay. Any questions?
17:13No.
17:14Okay.
17:15Maybe as they come, I'll come to you.
17:17Yeah, yeah.
17:18And I want to have people here that kind of, like,
17:19grow with us,
17:20and I hope you're one of those people truly.
17:21Yeah.
17:22So, um, again, I think I said this to you before,
17:25but I'm a little hard in the beginning
17:26just because, like, I really care about the details,
17:27so please don't take it personally.
17:29But service is, like, you know, very important to me.
17:31But, uh, I look forward to working with you.
17:38Good to see you.
17:40How are you guys doing?
17:41Well, handsome.
17:42Cash, how good were the tacos?
17:45Delicious.
17:46You guys got to try the tacos.
17:46They're so good.
17:47Today, I have so much going on at the farm in general.
18:00The clock is ticking.
18:01The rehearsal's tomorrow.
18:02And to add to the pressure,
18:03we only have two days to get this ceremony site
18:05ready for this big wedding.
18:07Every wedding at June Farms has to be perfect.
18:12Well, the wood chips look phenomenal.
18:15This feels very good.
18:17It's, like, crazy how much these wood chips, like,
18:18make such a difference.
18:20I do really wish that she was here tonight
18:22instead of last night.
18:23No, no, you know what, that's good, though.
18:24She's coming back tomorrow, right?
18:25That's good, though.
18:26The bar was so low that we showed her that, like,
18:28this is going to make her so happy.
18:30Wood chips are down.
18:30We've got to finish this platform.
18:32Then we have to create this enchanted forest
18:34with beautiful lanterns and candles and stumps.
18:38It's supposed to feel like this fairy tale wedding.
18:40I really think what we're going to do
18:41is going to look very simple and elegant.
18:43I really do think she's going to like it.
18:45Oh, I'm, like, going to cry.
18:46I'm so relieved.
18:47The ground dried up really well, too.
18:49I was nervous about the mud, but it rained this morning.
18:52And even before we were putting down the wood chips,
18:55there was, like, no issue.
18:56I'm really, like, feeling pretty good about it.
18:58It's great.
18:59Let me ask you this.
19:00When do you think that platform will be done?
19:01It'll take a little bit longer,
19:02but I feel really comfortable with the amount of work
19:05I have left here.
19:06And then, I guess, wrap it up tomorrow?
19:10Tomorrow's the rehearsal.
19:12Oh.
19:13Uh, I mean, it has to be done tomorrow.
19:16Well, they have to be able to stand on it tomorrow.
19:18I don't know if it needs to be, like, stained and, like,
19:19well, it shouldn't be steps, obviously.
19:20It definitely needs to be stained.
19:22Maple is really, it's beautiful.
19:23The grain is beautiful.
19:25There are barely any knots, but it's super pale.
19:27I'd rather get as much work as I can done today.
19:30There's a lot of challenges lying ahead of us, for sure.
19:33But I do trust Matt's vision
19:35and that he's leading us to a place
19:38that's going to bring everyone success.
19:42So you're good with the platform.
19:44So everyone else can be helping kind of get this place
19:46looking good with, like, plant.
19:47Exactly.
19:48Josh is acting like he has it all covered.
19:50It's definitely making me nervous
19:51because I'm not quite believing it.
19:52But I have so many other things
19:53that I have to start worrying about
19:55that I just don't have time to even be, like,
19:56focusing on this right now.
19:58We have a lot of work to do.
20:00We have three minutes left and there
20:04at night.
20:04We have 1, 2, 3, 2, 1.
20:11How's the wedding site?
20:12Beautiful!
20:13You're not stressed out about it?
20:13No longer.
20:15Well, the time, getting it done for her rehearsal tomorrow
20:16You're not stressed out about it?
20:17No longer.
20:18Well, the time getting it done for her rehearsal tomorrow
20:21at five is a little tricky.
20:22You want a drink?
20:25You're, were you not at the meeting?
20:28She's the one that's trying to get me drunk all the time now.
20:31Well, I want him to relax a little.
20:46Sorry.
20:47No, you're OK.
20:48I was just going to grab your hand.
20:49I'm cold.
20:50You are?
20:51Do you want my sweatshirt?
20:52Maybe I'll take it later.
20:53OK.
20:54Vroom, vroom, bitch!
20:56You're not busy, right?
20:57Really?
20:58No, no, no.
20:59OK, so maybe you can do this together.
21:01I need the tiki torches placed around the ceremony in the woods,
21:0712 on each side in ways that feel romantic.
21:10I need the tiki torches placed around the ceremony in the woods,
21:1412 on each side in ways that feel romantic.
21:16It's just going to feel like it's, you know,
21:19when you guys get married.
21:20Where would you want them?
21:21How would you want them?
21:22Oh, my God.
21:23You're so nice.
21:24You know, Leighton and Ellie, I love the two of them together
21:26as a couple for the most part.
21:27Awkward silence.
21:28Oh, my God.
21:29People often get into relationships at June Farms.
21:32I think when you have a very social, good-looking staff,
21:35that tends to happen.
21:37But if they get their job done, then frankly, I don't care.
21:40And we have 48 places.
21:41Many that looks enchanted but not obnoxious.
21:43Not obnoxious.
21:44Too much.
21:45Yeah.
21:46Okay.
21:47Okay, thanks, guys.
21:49I think that's too close to that one.
21:52You think?
21:53I love that that gives us, like, little jobs to do here and there together.
21:57It is kind of fun.
21:58Maybe one closer to the log over here.
22:00Oh, yeah.
22:04Oh, my God.
22:07That was a good throw.
22:08That was a really good throw.
22:09I was impressed.
22:10And then what?
22:11Like here?
22:12Right?
22:16Hey, Leighton.
22:17There's one more thing I need.
22:18Move a few of those logs up to the back corner and doing the same thing.
22:22Okay.
22:23And then...
22:24And those two?
22:25Those are extra, so we'll probably just get rid of them somewhere.
22:27Or maybe...
22:28Or scatter them.
22:29And then the three ferns there, we're just moving to the red sign.
22:32And that's it.
22:33Cool.
22:34Leighton's whole job is set up events, break down events, and in the middle be really charming
22:39to all the guests.
22:40I am so busy right now.
22:42And I've worked with Leighton for, like, ten years.
22:45He's, like, one of the few people that understands what I want aesthetically.
22:48So, in order for this wedding to look as magical and enchanted as we want it to, I'm going to
22:53have Leighton bring a bunch of tree sumps, put it around the perimeter, and we're going
22:57to make it look really nice.
22:58I want to see how it looks lit up, too.
23:01Well, that's the good thing is, like, no matter what, when they are lit, they're going
23:04to look great, so...
23:05Leighton and I met at June Farms.
23:07He was hosting, I was bartending, and so we just became best friends.
23:12We just started having fun, and kind of one thing led to another.
23:18We...
23:19We hooked up!
23:20And then, since then, it was kind of history.
23:23I love you.
23:24I love you, too.
23:25I'd say Ellie and I fell for each other, yeah.
23:27Oh, I was for sure in love with her, like, probably six months before she even gave me
23:31a chance.
23:32Are you complimenting me?
23:33I am.
23:34Are you flirting with me?
23:35A little bit.
23:36Those times we just spent, like, just her and I, I think is the best part.
23:39About working at June Farms, that we always vibed, we always partied, we always had fun.
23:43I feel like you can't really, like, you can't really fuck up putting tiki's out.
23:47They look good no matter what.
23:48Knowing Matt so well, if he hates him, he'll just come down here, change him, and not say
23:52anything to me.
23:57Look, that's pretty good.
24:00Wanna go back up?
24:01Yep, yep, yep, yep.
24:03Bye, Josh.
24:04Bye, Josh.
24:05See you later.
24:09Bye, Josh.
24:39I check out the wedding site.
24:40The tree stumps have never been moved, and Layton is nowhere to be found.
24:46I called you to ask you to do something, and it didn't get done.
24:49I have to delegate certain things to certain people, and if it doesn't get done, then what,
24:53now I have to do it?
24:54I asked Layton to do one thing, which was to move the tree stumps around the perimeter.
24:58He didn't even do that.
24:59We have the rehearsal in, like, ten hours.
25:01I have so much other shit to do.
25:02I'm starting to freak out.
25:04You're stressing me the fuck out.
25:07I didn't even want that project.
25:08I don't know why I'm playing.
25:11You're hearing me stress about it, and you're just taking off.
25:13There's no room for error, because I'm not going to look embarrassed professionally in
25:18front of a bunch of wedding guests.
25:19So I rely on him, but he's not there, didn't do anything I asked him to.
25:23Gives me attitude when I ask him why it's not done.
25:26When I tell you to do a job, get it done, period.
25:28There's no more conversation.
25:29If you can't get it done, then we have a further conversation to be had.
25:32I gave you a job, you didn't do it.
25:33It's like, I don't have time for this shit.
25:35Layton, I gotta go.
25:36I got a million things to do.
25:47Josh, it feels so far behind, and they're coming in four hours,
25:50and this feels like the framework might not even be done by six.
25:53I don't know.
25:54It's Friday, the day of the wedding rehearsal.
25:57There's a lot of work to be done on this platform.
26:00I still need to do the decking, the front step, and stain it.
26:03I'm starting to feel the pressure.
26:05Is there somebody on the team that you feel like can help you with this?
26:09Yeah, I mean, maybe Miles?
26:13This is the quickest part of the whole thing.
26:15I'm freaking out just a touch that everything's not going to get done in time.
26:19This needs to be wood chipped.
26:20Okay.
26:21All right.
26:22There's people in heels that are going to be walking down this.
26:26You seem pretty smart.
26:28Can I give you a task?
26:29We had just had a bunch of rain.
26:30It was very, very muddy.
26:31I feel a lot of pressure in the next, what, eight hours before rehearsal
26:35to show her something that's not going to freak her the fuck out.
26:37I want this wedding to be perfect for them.
26:40It's not just a business for me.
26:42It's literally my whole life.
26:44Thanks.
26:45Hi, everyone.
26:46My name's Victoria.
26:47I'm the wedding event coordinator for the farm.
26:48All right.
26:49We're going to get on these golf carts here and head down to where the ceremony's going
26:50to be.
26:51We'll have a little reveal, and then we're going to run through the ceremony really quickly,
26:52and then we'll get you guys out of here for dinner.
26:53My job at the farm is being the head of events.
26:57I run all of our events.
26:58I do it all.
26:59I think for only being one full year at June Farms that I've been doing a really great job,
27:05and we've had a successful event every single time.
27:07This is the Hobbit house.
27:08Look at how cute that is.
27:09That's literally the Hobbit.
27:10Right?
27:11Literally.
27:12Literally.
27:13I'm embarrassed right now I'm not even telling this.
27:16Oh, I'm going to use your mom.
27:18My mom.
27:19Oh, thanks.
27:20I love you.
27:21Bye bye.
27:22Bye bye.
27:23Bye bye.
27:24Bye bye.
27:25Bye bye bye.
27:26I'm just waiting for now.
27:27Bye bye.
27:28Bye bye.
27:29When you're up with this, you got your力 right
27:34up here.
27:35Oh, I'm going to be a muscle.
27:37Oh, I'm going to be crying.
27:40Hey, Madsie, he wants to take a shot with us.
27:42You know what?
27:43At the end of my day, I'll take a shot with you guys.
27:45All right.
27:49Oh, God.
27:58All the way up here?
27:59Whoa, whoa, whoa.
28:01We're just going to stop here so I can explain the scenario.
28:05Hi, everybody.
28:06I tried to get every...
28:10It's been a long day.
28:11I tried my best to get it done as much as I could, I swear.
28:14Okay.
28:16It's, like, 75% there.
28:18I just don't want you to think it's going to be muddy, I promise.
28:21Okay.
28:22Yeah, my word.
28:23Okay.
28:24Yeah, I, like, have never failed like this,
28:25and I feel like I want it to be, like,
28:27just a really beautiful reveal right now, and it isn't,
28:29so I'm sorry about that.
28:35Oh, that was a nightmare.
28:46It felt like everything was collapsing on me.
28:50I mean, the stress of not having that ceremony site ready for Sophia in front of her family,
28:56when she trusted us for her wedding was embarrassing.
29:00How's this going?
29:03This is very unlike Josh.
29:04I feel like I've always been able to rely on him for anything.
29:07Had I not stepped in, that platform would not have been built,
29:11and it seems like he is sort of over-promising and under-delivering,
29:16and then we had this huge failure with Leighton not helping me with the logs.
29:21It's always this sort of struggle for me,
29:23where I feel like I'm trying to run the best place on earth,
29:25and as much as I try to keep it all perfect, I never can.
29:29When I'm done staining, I have to spread those wood chips,
29:32or at least kind of get them evened out.
29:35Okay.
29:38You're so close.
29:40Good morning.
29:49Mother the bride taking all their stuff at the end of the night,
29:53so if you have anything, just let me know where it is.
29:55Why can't anybody get here on time?
29:57I know.
29:58These boys are guaranteed they're just gonna show up late.
30:01That looks good, right?
30:03I think this looks beautiful.
30:04Okay.
30:05Regardless of what happened, it's all done and really nice.
30:08I'm very relieved that it's finished.
30:10For the couple to see a transformed ceremony site,
30:14I'm really proud of it.
30:15Although with Leighton, I just feel like he let me down,
30:19you know, but then he shows up and just, like, crushes it.
30:21I give Leighton a pass because I know that he is young and in love.
30:25He does a really good job for me, so I rely on him a lot,
30:28and I want him to be there.
30:29But I don't have time to dwell on that,
30:31because I just have to get ready for this wedding.
30:32You know what else?
30:33They never even remember this part.
30:34I mean, they do a little bit, but it's such a blur.
30:36Yeah, it's also 15 minutes.
30:38But she's gonna have the most beautiful 15 minutes of her life.
30:43The bride is coming at 440-ish.
30:46So I was gonna do three clusters on this side, three on this side.
30:49There's a chair down there for the musician?
30:51There is.
30:52Okay, perfect.
30:53Oh, look who chose to show up late!
30:56You guys ready?
30:57Yeah, now that we set everything up.
31:04Oh, shit. Wow.
31:06Is there anything going with these, Lisa, or is it just this?
31:09Just this.
31:10I mean, it's not my favorite.
31:12It's, like, roses, dead leaves an inch away from it.
31:16I don't know why anybody would think a long, thin, sad row of white roses would look good.
31:22We have to do some candles.
31:23I have to do something to it.
31:24I mean, it looks like crap.
31:26I love that everyone thinks there's, like, a team of other people that I can call and be like,
31:30fix the roses.
31:31I don't have those people.
31:32I do that stuff.
31:34So when I see little details that are wrong, I just change it.
31:38This feels like we spent money on roses.
31:40That felt like we didn't have enough money for enough roses.
31:44Yo, you said you needed cups to come back with flowers.
31:47Yeah, because the table looks kind of plain.
31:50You better hold on to those plants.
31:52Obviously, if you drive smart.
31:54Ready, princess?
31:55All right, let's do it.
31:56Trinnell had asked me if I could shuttle him down to the Hobbit house with jugs of water,
32:02where they're setting up the bar for the wedding.
32:04I like the weddings, and I hope they're going to let me focus more on the larger events moving forward.
32:11Door-to-door drop-off.
32:12How about it?
32:13I accept Venmo.
32:15Venmo for what?
32:16Popeyes gift cards.
32:17You should be paying me.
32:18What?
32:20Yo, are you serious?
32:21What?
32:22That looks corny.
32:23That looks corny to you.
32:24Put them on the ground.
32:25The table looks empty.
32:26Okay.
32:27They want a refund on their cucumber water.
32:29I'll see you around.
32:34Oh, my God.
32:35Look how gorgeous she looks.
32:36I just want to say hi quickly.
32:37You look so gorgeous.
32:39I'm so excited.
32:40How's it looking down there?
32:41It looks gorgeous.
32:42Yeah.
32:43Yeah, you're going to love it.
32:44Yo, the shuttle's here with the grooms.
32:45Yo, right behind that barn and find a spot, brother.
32:46Here we go.
32:47Welcome, guys.
32:48Welcome, welcome.
32:49Justin?
32:50Yeah.
32:51Tom.
32:52I'm here to give you guys whatever you need.
32:53You guys want beers?
32:54You guys want...
32:55I'll probably...
32:56Yeah?
32:57A handful.
32:58How many guys you got?
32:59I got six guys.
33:00Jake?
33:01Evan?
33:02Yeah?
33:03You guys can start going down to the ceremony.
33:04Everybody grab a spot.
33:05Hey!
33:06Hey!
33:07Hey!
33:08Hey!
33:09Hey!
33:10Hey!
33:11Hey!
33:12Hey!
33:13Hey!
33:14Hey!
33:15Hey!
33:16Hey!
33:17Hey!
33:18Hey!
33:19Hey!
33:24The pressure of a wedding is overwhelming to me.
33:27I care so much about the experience for the bride and the groom,
33:30but so much can go wrong at any wedding,
33:32whether it's the weather, the staff behaving properly.
33:35You know, you really have to hope for the best,
33:37but in my brain, it's always like,
33:39oh, shit, what can go wrong?
33:40Seven-ish minutes, I'm going to get to find on your car,
33:43and I'll go down.
33:44Seven, wow, okay.
33:49Hi, guys.
33:50Welcome.
33:54Are you officiating?
33:55I'm Ellie.
33:56And I always laugh because I've been divorced for 35 years.
33:59I've said some very derogatory things about what I'm married.
34:04Let me know if you need anything.
34:06How immediate family...
34:07Immediate family is going to be the first row.
34:10Am I considered that?
34:11That's a great question.
34:12Oh, my God, Matt.
34:16Don't cry, don't cry.
34:20I don't cry.
34:39Safiya Lily Cole and Justin and Oberkhan,
34:42and their families extend a warm welcome to all of you.
