04:08For decor, my inspiration is my siblings.

04:15We'll like play games and just trade the candy similar to how we do in Halloween.
04:18I'm arranging the cupcakes in a wreath shape and then decorating the whole thing with green buttercream frosting and my toppings.
04:27For chocolate, some honeycomb and chocolate-covered candy peanuts with like a Puyatine Crunch.
04:31I'm making some of my own candies.
04:33I also want the decorations to not just look good, but add something to the dessert.

04:39Candy, especially during the holiday season, can be seen as somewhat naughty.

04:48I do not have that much experience with the wreath growing up because seeing I grew up in a Jewish household.
04:54So I'm going to make a wreath shaped like a Star of David to really celebrate the Jewish people in the holiday season.

05:06So what's the naughtiest thing that a Jew can do?
05:08Eat some bacon.
05:09So I am making pecan chocolate chips and bacon blondies with a maple blonde chocolate whipped ganache and a maple cream cheese frosting topped with candied bacon.
05:22And I will have a little pig eating some bacon.
05:27That's why I'm on the naughty team.
05:28I break the rules.
05:29I don't know how many bananas I need, but I'd rather just take them all.
05:37The challenge is a wreath dessert.
05:40So I am making a banana blonde chocolate bundt cake with a lime caramel center.
05:45Blonde chocolate.
05:46It can be really sweet.
05:47And so the lime can just balance out that sweetness.
05:50I don't need all the nice cutters and piping tips for decorating because I'm going to make a nice stable buttercream to pipe all my kind of leaf.
05:58I'm decorating it to be a modern wreath.

06:04But I'm going to have my childhood cat made out of gum paste pulling the lights off of the wreath to show the naughty element of my wreath.
06:11As the creative mind of me as a seven-year-old, I dubbed the name Dusty to this gray cat.

06:20So it's a little bit homage to her naughty side, I guess.

07:42wreaths that were colorful balls, kind of glued together, and I wanted to recreate it.

08:26So I am making a Snickerdoodle cookie cake filled with apple whiskey compote and a hazelnut

08:34I'm going to make it look like a wreath because it will be circular with a hole in it.
08:39To decorate, I'm going to just adorn the whole thing in my Swiss meringue buttercream
08:44and really pastel and silvery colors to look like my Grandma Maxine's wreath.
08:50I have Grandma Maxine's wreath and I have her holiday village that we keep up year-round
08:55because I'm too lazy to take a ton out of our buffet.
08:59But hanging our wreath with my kids, that signifies this is the beginning of the holidays.

37:09So I sort of want to do my interpretation on a wreath that you would see in our house.
37:13What I made for you today is a pecan and bacon blondie.
37:18To really up the naughty factor, we put a little pig munching on some bacon.
37:23Oy, gewalt.

37:29A Star of David covered in bacon.
37:32There is a pig with a yarmulke.

37:35I think that is genius.
37:36It does look like a wreath and it looks like you have the points of Star of David.

37:45So the brown part is a whipped blonde chocolate and maple ganache.
37:51And then the white is the maple cream cheese.

37:59But the texture of the blondie is a little dry.

38:03And I think when you add this much salt to it, it really gets kind of bitter.
