00:00Well, let's talk about the primetime game that happened last night.

00:02I felt the Texans, you know, were kind of unfairly, whatever the number, I think was

00:09three and a half point underdogs somewhere in that vicinity.

00:13You know, to me, this was a spot that did not favor the Chiefs at all in terms of the

00:19matchup.

00:19I know a lot of people wanted to lean into, oh, they're at Arrowhead.

00:22Oh, it's Mahomes.

00:23It's Reed.

00:23It's desperation.

00:24They're fighting for their playoff life.

00:26All of it.

00:26You know, the recipe that we saw, obviously, the Eagles trounced.

00:29The Chiefs would back in the Super Bowl was the ability to get to the passer and make

00:33life miserable for Mahomes.

00:35And the Texans, with the number one defense in all of football, were fully capable of playing

00:40the exact same way.

00:42Sure enough, they did.

00:43He was scrambling all over the place and just couldn't do anything.

00:45And his weapons weren't helping him out either.

00:47And so Kansas City, let's start there.

00:49Six and seven.

00:51And now, really, I mean, it's a real mathematical uphill battle to make the playoffs.

00:57Are the Chiefs dead in your mind?

01:00I mean, it's close.

01:01I mean, they're going to need some help.

01:03I mean, the biggest thing is they need the Chargers to lose the Eagles tonight and give

01:06them an opportunity next week to try to beat the Chargers and try to close that gap.

01:11We know the Texans just earned that tiebreaker, so it might be hard to jump at them.

01:16But now, they've got to eye the Chargers.

01:18I think last night, it was eyeing the Colts if they could beat the Texans.

01:21But now, the Chargers do have a very tough schedule to close it out.

01:24So that's what they're going to hope for, to get in.

01:27They can no longer win the AFC West.

01:30They just don't have enough games to do so.

01:32So I think the biggest thing, there's just a lot of dysfunctional stuff going on with

01:35the Chiefs that we haven't seen.

01:37They really don't have a consistent pass rush.

01:39Their pass protection is not very good.

01:40And for the first time, I'm seeing an air of desperation from Mahomes and Travis Kelsey

01:46and Andy Reid, just like they don't know what to do.

01:49They're searching for answers and usually don't get the Chiefs on their heels, but that's

01:54how they're feeling like right now.

01:56So I don't know if I have a lot of faith in the Chiefs even to beat the Chargers next

02:00week.

02:00I know the Chargers tend to also flop in their own right here.

02:05We'll see what happens against the Eagles.

02:06I will find out what I want to feel about that game once I see the Chargers play tonight.

02:13Well, to make the playoffs, it's roughly 4-1 for Kansas City, minus 700 to miss the playoffs,

02:19which would have seemed unthinkable with Patrick Mahomes, a healthy Patrick Mahomes at quarterback.
