00:00All right, the Rams really put a stranglehold on the NFC West with their win last week over the 49ers.
00:07And now they did the same thing, Joe, to the Seattle Seahawks,
00:11who really were given every opportunity to come back and win this game.
00:14But Sam Darnold just did not have a good one here.
00:17Four interceptions in this one after they attempted a really long field goal and came up short.
00:23The Rams appear to be the frontrunner for the NFC West.
00:26I still think three teams could easily get in in this division.
00:31But if Darnold is going to do this once every two or three games, Joe, he's not going to go very far.
00:36Well, and obviously the blueprint on how to mess with Sam Darnold is alive and well.
00:43And it's play a lot of nickel and dime.
00:45Throw, you know, throw five defensive backs there, six defensive backs there.
00:50And you get what you got yesterday from Sam Darnold.
00:53Now, the thing is, not a lot of teams have the defensive personnel to be able to do that.
00:58But my goodness, Chris Shula, the defensive coordinator for the Rams, the job he is doing this year.
01:05I mean, we're talking about now a five-game winning streak.
01:09And this guy is one of the he's going to be one of these hot new coordinators coming up.
01:13But the Rams have held three of their last four opponents under 20 yards.
01:18I mean, they rank second in the league in points allowed as good as that defense was for Seattle.
01:24And it's very good.
01:26The Rams, they're just that much better at the quarterback position and the defensive side of the ball.
01:32So the Rams clearly are the ones that should be talked about as possibly somebody that could go toe-to-toe with Philadelphia's defense and do some damage.
