01:24Communist candidate Janet Jara and her far-right opponent Jose Antonio Kast will face off this Sunday in Chile's presidential elections after four years in office of leftist Gabriel Kuri.
01:41While issues of security have been central in this campaign, centre-right Evelyn Matei has promised jail or cemetery the criminals.
01:50I will vote for Kast because I think he will solve the problems of this country that we have already agobiated.
01:58He really cannot go out because you are with a lot of delinquents.
02:02I think he will deal with all those things.
02:06I vote for Janet Jara because I consider that she is the person who is more aterrizated in the needs of the people,
02:11because I am a radical person and because I consider that it is necessary to advance in the rights of the modern world,
02:17in the values that the modern world has.
02:18Kara, a former Labour Minister and the only representative of the unity security bloc,

02:53Speaking about the effects of climate change in their home countries,
02:57activists advocated for youth representation in the UN negotiations.
03:01This is the future that we are talking about.
03:04It is about the survival of our species.
03:08And yet the decision makers sitting at the table today,
03:11those in the negotiation panels,
03:13those who are at the blue zones and their air-conditioned rooms,
03:16are talking about the people.
03:18And yet the actual victims, the actual communities,
03:21are not in the table, are not in the conversation.
03:24It was the first time in three years that protesters have been allowed to demonstrate outside the UN climate talks.
03:32The demonstrations, which have been disrupting the talks,
03:35come in a conference that organisers have promoted as empowering and celebrating native peoples.
