00:05We all laughed about Alabama and how terrible they were down the stretch
00:07until they weren't, which meant Oklahoma had to do things like,
00:11let me just drop the punt instead of kick it.
00:14And John Mateer, let me just throw it directly to an Alabama player
00:18in the flat by himself who walks in for a touchdown
00:20and you find yourself tied at the half.
00:22And then Alabama carried the second half for a 10-point victory over Oklahoma.
00:26I was surprised by that because when the initial listings came out
00:30for lines and also teams playing, I'm like, you know what?
00:32I think Alabama's going to bounce back.
00:34And then you see the market movement and the money and go, wait a second.
00:36I'm expecting Alabama to bounce back when we don't know if there's an injury
00:39or not to their quarterback Ty Simpson's back
00:41and no way they can go through with this.
00:43And you find themselves getting hammered.
00:45Then they won, Tom.
00:46Just, again, everything this weekend has so many crazy comebacks.
00:49Alabama-Oklahoma was one of those.
00:52It wasn't.
00:52It was also far more scoring than I anticipated.
00:55We know how good the OU defense is really for the entirety of the season,
01:00how they kind of kept things under control the first time
01:02that these teams played during the regular season.
01:05And just the amount of scoring that we saw, especially the way the swings went,
01:09how Alabama came surging back and put up all the points late,
01:12I was very surprised with.
01:14Alabama still has a lot to figure out,
01:16especially when it comes to their run game on offense.
01:19And they faced a tough test coming up against Indiana,
01:21who's coming off a bye.
