00:00Welcome to the video from the Car Magazine Tuning Blog.
00:03Today we're talking about the new Aston Martin DBX-S.
00:06A more powerful version of the British Luxury SUV,
00:10offering even more power and sporty details.
00:13Aston Martin remains true to its roots
00:15and ennobles its respective top model
00:18with an additional S in the name.
00:20Now the DBX has also been upgraded accordingly.
00:23The new top model has the same 4L but Turbo V8 under the hood,
00:28but it has been significantly optimized
00:30with larger turbochargers taken from the Valhalla.
00:34This increases power to a whopping 72 horsepower.
00:39Maximum torque is a powerful 900 Nm.
00:42The sprint from 0 to 100 km per hour takes just 3.3 seconds,
00:48while top speed remains the same at 310 km per hour.
00:52The increased power is acoustically underscored
00:55by a new 4-pipe exhaust system.
00:58Power is distributed via a new automatic transmission
01:02with a wet clutch and variable all-wheel drive,
01:05with the transmission control being even more sharply tuned
01:08in the sportier driving modes.
01:10The British have also made changes to the weight.
01:13An optional carbon roof saves 18 kg.
01:17However, the roof rails are omitted.
01:19Those opting for the also-optional 23-inch magnesium wheels
01:25reduce the unsprung mass by a further 19 kg,
01:29but also forgo the roof rails.
01:33The DBX-S comes standard with 23-inch forged aluminum wheels.
01:39An optional polycarbonate radiator grille further saves around 7 kg.
01:44The direct steering ratio is intended to increase agility and reduce the turning circle.
01:51Deceleration is provided by a powerful carbon ceramic brake system
01:55with 420 mm discs at the front and 390 M at the rear.
02:00The DBX-S also stands out subtly but effectively visually.
02:05Black radiator grille, new front splitter, reworked rear diffuser, and new side skirts
02:11all feature red accents and are available in carbon fiber for an additional charge.
02:16The colors red, silver, and green are available.
02:19The exterior mirrors, side moldings, and door sills can also be upgraded with carbon fiber.
02:26The lettering, however, is always standard on the front codwains.
02:31Inside, Aston Martin features herringbone patterns on the seats,
02:35S-logos on the seat backs and door sills, and numerous Alcantara-covered surfaces.
02:41A premium audio system is standard.
02:44The Aston Martin DBX-S is available to order now.
02:48Deliveries will begin in the fourth quarter of 2025.
02:52While no official pricing has been announced,
02:54since the standard DBX-707 already costs at least 250,000 euros,
03:00the DBX-S is likely to be significantly more expensive.
03:05As always, you'll find the link to read the article in our magazine in the video description.
