00:00Let's flip it over to the NFL on Sunday, Joe.
00:021 p.m. star at Cincinnati and Pittsburgh.
00:04Joe Flacco taking on Aaron Rodgers.
00:06This line opened up at 5.5.
00:08We still sit at 5.5 across the board right now.
00:10And a total at 49.5, we still sit at 49.5.
00:15Two old men at quarterback, Joe.
00:16What's the spread line here for you?
00:18Well, yeah, I mean, and the big news, of course, we talked about it yesterday, Donnie,
00:22is, you know, Joe Burrow working his way back.
00:25Like, why?
00:25Because Joe Flacco's done such a terrible job here.
00:28The Bengals are off a bye.
00:31And, of course, the Steelers are coming off that West Coast game
00:34that they absolutely threw up all over themselves with against the Chargers.
00:38So there is a distinct situational advantage here for Cincinnati.
00:43But, of course, there's the revenge angle for the Steelers,
00:46who, don't forget, gave up the game-winning field goal to the Bengals
00:49on Thursday night football a month ago.
00:52So the Bengals racked up nearly 500 yards of offense there,
00:56but their defense, shocker, gave up just as many.
01:00I don't know that this number, the look-add line, Donnie, was five and a half, six.
01:03And guess what?
01:05It's exactly where we are here.
01:07It's quite obvious that there are going to be, I think, Pittsburgh money late here.
01:12But right now, five and a half is no man's land in the books, Donnie.
01:16You know that.
01:17They're just waiting to see where does the money come in and when during the week.
01:22Does the money come in here on either Pittsburgh or Cincinnati?
01:25But it could very well just stay right here, five, five and a half.
01:29NFL news and notes here on a Wednesday as we anticipate week 11 starting,
01:33which will take place tomorrow night on Thursday Night Football.
01:35We might get a snoozer between New England and the New York Jets.
01:38We'll get to that game in just a little bit.
01:39But some interesting news came down late.
01:41Multiple accounts.
01:42Adam Schefter, you know, other beat writers.
01:44Jair Alexander of the Philadelphia Eagles is stepping away from the game right now,
01:49I guess, to get a mental clarity and getting a little bit healthier with his name.
01:53Here's the understanding, which, you know, always came through.
01:56Jair Alexander was a really, really good football player for the Green Bay Packers.
02:00Top level cornerback paid like it and performed like it.
02:03But we always saw some of those snippets coming out where he is a little bit squirrely at times.
02:07But again, some of these NFL guys, you know, just say, look, this is how they were superstars.
02:11They're a little bit off, you know, per se.
02:13But now we take a look at Jair Alexander where he's gone from the Green Bay Packers.
02:17And it's like, ooh, off-season signing for the Baltimore Ravens.
02:20Like, man, that's a good signing.
02:21If that works out and he's healthy, the Baltimore Ravens might have one of the most talented defenses in the NFL,
02:25maybe the best secondary.
02:27And it's like, well, wait a second.
02:28He's not playing.
02:29He's inactive.
02:29But he's healthy.
02:31But they're trying to get him right.
02:32And all this goes down.
02:33And it's like, something doesn't make sense here, Joe.
02:35Then he gets traded to the Philadelphia Eagles.
02:37And all indications are, hey, man, I'm feeling great.
02:39Going to get to Philadelphia.
02:40I practiced right away.
02:41With the thoughts of him starting against the Green Bay Packers, his former team.
02:46Only to be led that the Eagles took a plane trip out to Green Bay.
02:49He wasn't included.
02:51And they said, look, too fast, too soon.
02:53Got to learn the system.
02:54He'll be back next week.
02:55Then the next round of information comes out.
02:57Jair Alexander is stepping away from the NFL, Joe.
03:01And it's a total about face, Donnie.
03:04From when, you know, we just, when he was traded, they interviewed him there.
03:08And, I mean, even last Tuesday, he was totally happy to have a shot to come to Philadelphia.
03:15He had a, he said, what, I wanted to prove myself.
03:18I can be what I know I am.
03:20He suggested he was healthier than he had been all season.
03:24He was born in Philadelphia, Donnie.
03:27And his family is still there.
03:29So, you know, you're right.
03:31Once he didn't travel with the team, it didn't.
03:34It was, all right, give him the benefit of doubt.
03:36Maybe they're giving him a chance to get assimilated, but it kind of felt like there
03:41was something more to the story.
03:43And that's exactly what it turned out to be.
03:45It certainly was.
03:46Because, again, they're trying to cover for him and do the right thing.
03:49But the fact that, like, again, you're right.
03:52The cameras, the microphones in front of him, good spirits, can't wait to play out here.
03:57And, you know, the beat writers for the Philadelphia Eagles were watching the drills that they were
04:00doing in practice.
04:00And, you know, it's interesting here.
04:02You know, you got Quinion Mitchell on one side.
04:03And it looks like the starting lineup here does have Jair Alexander.
04:06Maybe he does get a spot start in Green Bay, only for him not to take the plane trip out
04:10here and then a few days later step away from the NFL.
04:12Probably not going to play again in the NFL.
04:14If it's been a year and a half, two years where they're blaming the injury, but it's
04:18not the injury to cover for the mental state of things, just hope he gets right at this
04:21point.
04:22He probably shouldn't be playing in the NFL.
04:23Just get his life back in order.
04:25We'll see where that goes and see if he does come back to the Philadelphia Eagles.
04:27But certainly, I guess the Eagles in the organization not counting on that right now.
04:31Same thing with Darius Smith.
04:32Hey, man, I'm going to win a championship and come over, play a couple games.
04:35Hey, man, need more snaps at it.
04:36Yeah, I'm good.
04:37I'm going to retire here.
04:38So that's twice this season.
04:39Looks like players that were either picked up or traded for have retired on the Philadelphia
04:43Eagles.
04:44Antonio Brown, he's in the news again.
04:46How about this?
04:47Captured walking off the jet in Miami as he prepares to go on trial for attempted murder.
04:50He pleads not guilty in this sense.
04:55Oh, shocker.
04:56Not guilty there.
04:57The problem is they went out of their way to find you as you were taunting them while
05:04you were in Dubai trying to throw off the scent, so to speak, here, Donnie.
05:09This is not going to be good at all.
05:11This is not.
05:12And it's unfortunate, too.
05:13From a guy from where he was, Donnie, to, I mean, just the steady decline has just been
05:19absolutely crazy here.
05:22And there are a lot of videos that are out there showing this incident, and none of them
05:27look good for Antonio Brown.
05:29It's pretty wild, too, because this is one of those guys who was so good at wide receiver,
05:33and he just missed that mega boom of money influx that all the wideouts got.
05:38But he was out of the league because he is a certified nut job at that point.
05:41Never was able to cash in.
05:42And this is just a crazy spiral down from being maybe the best wide receiver in football,
05:47Hall of Fame career, to where we're winding up right now.
05:49Green Bay Packers talk.
05:51We just talked Jair Alexander, but how about this?
05:52Elgin Jenkins fractured his lower leg versus the Philadelphia Eagles, the center there
05:56for Green Bay.
05:57Boy, they can't.
05:58I mean, no pun intended.
05:59They can't catch a break.
06:00They're getting injured right now at the wrong time, Joe.
06:04Well, listen, even before he got injured there, which, and that's not great news here because
06:10the offensive line has been banged up for most of the season.
06:14But even before then, there are some issues with this offense.
06:20And just like that, Matt LaFleur, that seat is getting very hot.
06:24Could we see maybe play calling duties being given up here?
06:28Because you can't have a Philadelphia defense calling out the plays before they happen on
06:34the field, Donnie.
06:35There's something's going on there in Green Bay, and it's not good right now.
06:39Yeah, you know what else is going on in Carolina?
06:41Bill Belichick trying to get the head coach of the New York Giants, but not being able
06:44to get the head coach of the Giants.
06:45Once the Giants is going to embarrass North Carolina, you get what you deserve, people.
06:50That's just the way it goes down.
06:52And we continue to roll in the morning right here on the Early Line.
06:55We're going to talk a little NFL action for Thursday night and do a preview.
06:58But we ended the last segment here with something I wanted to ask Joe a question on.
07:01That was with Bill Belichick and the expectations for North Carolina as he uses his old, hey,
07:06man, we're just on to Wake Forest at this point speculation here.
07:10I hope this happens.
07:12I really do.
07:13Like, I hope that North Carolina has this season where they were thoroughly embarrassed
07:17from finish.
07:19And it ends with Bill Belichick accepting a job, like even before the end of the college
07:24football season to go back to the pros.
07:26And then have Carolina going like, we paid all this money to everybody here.
07:29We got a terrible season.
07:30We set back our school four to five years in recruiting.
07:33And now we have to rebuild.
07:34Like, that's what I hope happens.
07:36Does Bill Belichick say, you know what?
07:38I made a choice to go to college.
07:40You know, my legacy is on the line.
07:41If I turn out that I go to Carolina for one year and ruin that school and embarrass it
07:46and we don't even make a bowl game, then I go back to the NFL and then I go to the Giants,
07:50which you're not going to rekindle the magic because you don't have Tom Brady at that point.
07:53Where does this leave Bill Belichick?
07:55Is he better?
07:56You're staying in college and saying, after two or three years, I can get to a bowl game,
08:00then retire and save some face?
08:02Or do I just embarrass myself again with the charade of Carolina, go right back to the NFL
08:06and then see what I can do without Tom Brady?
08:10I don't know what everyone was thinking was going to happen in North Carolina with Belichick,
08:16Donnie, first and foremost here.
08:17I mean, they're four and five.
08:19And I make the argument here that they lost two games in the final 10 seconds,
08:25is that they could have won and should have won.
08:26They should be, in all aspects, they should be six and three right now and could very well
08:32be six and three.
08:33The fumble in the end zone in Cal in the final play was absurd.
08:37And then, of course, the two-point conversion they went for in overtime and were a half a
08:41yard short.
08:42This is not as bad a situation as everyone may.
08:45I don't know what people were expecting on it, but their win total, Donnie, I think was
08:48only six and a half anyway.
08:50So, I mean, they're on par for what the market thought they were going to be.
08:54Having said that, you're going to find out rather quickly whether, Bella, this was all
08:59just a temporary move to get his son set up and he wants to go back to the NFL or not here.
09:05Something tells me the animosity and his rules about keeping the Patriots and the grudge he
09:13has against the Patriots, something tells me that maybe he's got a desire to get back to the NFL.
09:20And listen, the reason Dable got hired there, the reason Joe Judge got hired with the Giants
09:25is because the Mara family pick up the phone and call Belichick.
09:28He's in with them.
09:30So, it could very well be if he's not the guy getting the job, I promise you the Mara
09:35family is going to ask him who he thinks should have the job.
09:40You know, with the expanded college football playoff, bowl games are absolutely meaningless,
09:45ridiculous, only there for us degenerates to bet on.
09:47No other need for those.
09:48But I got to tell you, now we have like Amazon Prime, we have Netflix.
09:52They're always bargaining and trying to get like new things to get people to subscribe.
09:56You know what I would subscribe to, Joe?
09:57Give me like a December 15th, Colorado versus North Carolina bowl game when both of them
10:03probably won't be bowl eligible and the loser gets fired after the game.
10:08Like, have a big payout.
10:08People will watch that at this point here.
10:10But that's what I'm down to at this point.
10:11I would love nothing less than Belichick to leave North Carolina high and dry.
10:15And where does that leave Lombardi over there as the GM, the worst college football GM in
10:18history?
10:19Because we were led to believe when Bill Belichick accepts that job in North Carolina, everybody's
10:23going to want to hit the transfer portal and come here.
10:25And nobody wanted to come there at that point.
10:27Good luck selling these kids on getting to North Carolina.
10:29I hope he leaves them high and dry and heads back to the NFL.
10:33But let's get back to the NFL.
10:34One of the teams that Bill Belichick used to coach, that's New England Patriots.
10:37They're much better today than in Belichick's last season.
10:39Why?
10:40Look at this Thursday night football spread.
10:42Opened up double digits at 10 and a half.
10:45We're no longer there, Joe.
10:46You see the 12 and a half that's going to come up on the graphic.
10:48Other outlets as high as 13 and a half.
10:52Two touchdowns for the Patriots as a favorite against a division rivalry on a Thursday night.
10:59Too much too soon, Joe.
11:00What is it?
11:02Well, what?
11:02Seven game winning streak for the Patriots.
11:04They're six and one against the number over that stretch.
11:07They're top 10 in just about each metric offensively as well as defensively.
11:15Drake May is one of the favorites now to win the most valuable player award.
11:20I mean, Don, what in the world could go wrong on a Thursday night as a double digit, almost
11:26two touchdown favorite?
11:28The answer is everything.
11:31Because that's what the NFL is.
11:33And this is exactly the kind of spot where people are going to start using that dreaded
11:38L word, Donnie.
11:40You know what that L word is, right?
11:41It's a lock.
11:43It's a lock.
11:44The Patriots are going to blow them.
11:46Yeah.
11:47If you've been following the NFL for more than 30 seconds that you know, if it's too good
11:53to be true, it's probably not.
11:55So I would be very careful with this game here because this is exactly the kind of game
12:01that goes sideways in a hurry for a team like the Patriots.
12:06Yeah.
12:07Taking a look at this, like, you know, using FanDuel right now, you look at some of the
12:10passing yards props here.
12:11Drake May is up at 241 and a half.
12:12Why?
12:13Because he throws the football and they have pretty good efficiency doing it.
12:15There are no props for quarterbacks here for the New York Jets.
12:18So the point being made is, well, the Jets are so bad they don't have quarterback props.
12:21No.
12:22The point being made is Joe's talking about how do you even prepare for a Jets team on a short
12:26work week when it's like, okay, usually we have to, you know, get 50 formations down pat
12:30here for the defense and this guy loves to throw it to this dominant wide receiver and
12:34this guy's fantastic.
12:35You go, who catches passes for the Jets?
12:37I don't know.
12:38Do they throw the football?
12:39Not really.
12:39Threw 11 times last game.
12:41So we're going to prepare for a quarterback that's just going to play street football over
12:44there and see what happens here.
12:45Yeah.
12:46Let's just get out of the dodge with a victory here.
12:48Seven points.
12:48We're fine.
12:48We'll move on.
12:49We'll continue our winning streak down the road because Joe, when you look at this game
12:52tomorrow night, it's supposed to go 28 to 14, 28 to 10 New England.
12:58Like that's the game script in this game, but we know that's not really the game script.
13:02What happens?
13:03Look last week, the Jets won a football game with their quarterback thrown for about 40
13:06yards to 50 yards, only completing six passes.
13:09And they won.
13:10Why?
13:11Because it's not all facets of the game.
13:12We're just passing the football.
13:13You can score on special teams.
13:15You can score on defense.
13:16The other team can just play poorly here and undermine, understand this.
13:20It's a short work week in the NFL.
13:22The toughest games to gauge are these Thursday night games.
13:25Yeah.
13:26Yeah.
13:26Well, just ask Buffalo how easy it was to roll into Miami and beat them, right?
13:31Because they, as I say, almost a double digit fit.
13:34That is divisional dogs, short work week.
13:38And by the way, Donnie, that was a very hard fought and physical game on the road against
13:43Tampa.
13:44Now a short week.
13:45And don't think for one minute, a young team like that is already sitting down.
13:49We've got, we already won this game.
13:51You think they're going to take the Jets seriously here?
13:54I, Vrabel has never been a great coach as a double digit favorite.
13:58He doesn't have a winning record as a double digit favorite.
14:02This is a big ass for a young Patriots team to be this focused and honed in on a team like
14:09the Jets who let's face it, they probably think they've already beat it.
14:12They absolutely have at this point.
14:14Also some touchdown props here to deal with in this game.
14:17Travion Henderson.
14:18Jason, he looks sensational and he looks like he should be the lead dog, but come on.
14:22Ramondre Stevenson is practicing this week.
14:24We'll see if he cuts into it, but they're both listed at minus one 85 just to protect
14:28the book.
14:28They don't know who the starter is going to be.
14:30So they hang that dummy line up there.
14:31I wouldn't be betting minus one 85 here until I see who's actually the starter, Joe.
14:36I just need to know who the kick returner and punt returner are for the Jets.
14:41Whoever that is, Donnie, that's my touchdown prop because that's, that's their bet.
14:46It ain't that that's for sure.
14:47But yes, I would go with all of the special teams guys for an anytime touchdown on a Jets
14:53because that's their best offense right now.
14:56It really is.
14:57Like, I'm interested to see some of these lines that pop up at this point to see what
15:00the Jets actual skill positions are because their lead wide receivers actually tight end
15:04with about 30 yards.
15:05The second leader it's Brees Hall.
15:07They're in the backfield 15 and a half as a receiving prop.
15:09Now we're getting news out of New York right now, Joe, at a starting quarterback.
15:14It's not going to be, you know, Russell Wilson.
15:17It's not going to be, of course, Mr. Dart.
15:20You know who it is?
15:21Jameis Winston is starting this weekend against the Green Bay Packers.
15:25Joe, whoa, boy.
15:28Expectations for this one or what?
15:30Donnie, I was screaming yesterday saying, why in the world is he still on this team?
15:36You cannot go to Russell Wilson again and think that's going to A, excite the fan base,
15:42B, give the locker room some sort of jolt.
15:47Everybody has seen it in Russell.
15:48He's burnt.
15:49He's spent.
15:50He's already, you know, he's already moved on.
15:53Like, Jameis is the guy.
15:54He is exactly the guy for this spot for the Giants.
15:57I'll take him this week against Green Bay.
15:59I got to tell you with this, I look at this and I say to myself, the Green Bay Packers
16:04defense is fantastic.
16:06Cornerback sensational.
16:07Pass rush phenomenal.
16:08Jameis Winston doesn't care about that.
16:10He's going to throw touchdowns and interceptions.
16:13Should we be looking at it?
16:14Over an hour to talk to the Big Apple.
16:17You know, most organizations say, Joe, like, as long as we're in the headlines, good
16:20or bad, we're in the headlines.
16:22That's all that matters.
16:22That's like the Dallas Cowboys philosophy.
16:24Like, hey, if it's going to cost us games, we get in the headlines.
16:26And so be it, we'll make our profitability go up and our franchise will have more eyeballs
16:30on it.
16:31And that's the way it is.
16:32But if you are a head coach of a football team that's not doing well, you don't want
16:36to fight with a large market beat writer or beat writer group of people, right?
16:41Well, that's not what's happening.
16:42That's actually is what's happening in New York.
16:44And it shouldn't be happening.
16:46Let's go to Aaron Glenn here fighting with a reporter, man.
16:48Come on now.
16:49Well, I'm telling you to ask Rich.
16:52Well, you better call him.
16:53No disrespect to you or Rich, but like, we want to hear from you, you know?
16:56You guys have been hearing it from me, but now since we're just reporting stuff, you
17:01know, that I haven't said, then maybe you should ask him.
17:04Thanks, everybody.
17:07Here's what's great about this, too, because, you know, it's even better.
17:10It's like Garrett Wilson will be out and then be like, yeah, he was right about this.
17:13But there's a certain way you go about it and say, because he's saying, like, you do
17:17ask me this question.
17:18And no, you don't.
17:19Like, this is the same guy doing the high school Harry act where it's like, who's your
17:22starting quarterback tomorrow?
17:24I'll let you know tomorrow.
17:25What is this?
17:26Like, you are getting, you can do this when you take over the Jets and you're sitting
17:30here at seven and two on the season.
17:32Play with the reporters.
17:33I'm the head man in charge right here.
17:35I'm going to handle my business and you're going to like it.
17:38You can't do that when your team stinks.
17:40And then the answers you're giving back don't even make any sense to simple questions, Joe.
17:45And what is he referring to, Rich Cimini, like the Jets beat reporter that's been following
17:51me, you know, that's been there much longer than you, Aaron Glenn.
17:55Like, why are you getting in it with Rich Cimini?
17:57Makes absolutely no sense to me at all.
18:00And again, you're a two-win football team who is clearly hitting the reset button and you're
18:06worried about giving away, what, state secrets?
18:09And you're trying to keep things on, like, come on, just answer this.
18:13Answer the easy questions there.
18:15It's not that difficult.
18:17Throw them a bone and they'll leave you alone.
18:20Well, they might never leave you alone in New York.
18:21But you know the point here, Donnie.
18:24Don't pick fights with the lead reporters in the New York media market covering the team.
18:29Yeah, here's what I need now.
18:31It's like, I need Mike Kafka who's going to take over as interim head coach there for the
18:34New York Giants to get up to the podium and be like, I never said Winston was starting
18:37today.
18:37Go ask Adam Schefter at this point.
18:39No, because they announced it and he's going to answer that and he's going to play quarterback
18:42and we'll see what happens at this point.
18:44But that is the big news of the day.
18:46Not that we're fighting for the New York Jets with the press.
18:48It's actually that Jameis Winston is going to go above Russell Wilson on the depth chart
18:52and he is going to start a football game against the Green Bay Packers.
18:56The one thing I do know is it might be ugly.
18:58They might get blown out.
18:59I think it's going to be fun, Joe.
19:01I do.
19:01I do, too.
19:03And it's about time.
19:05I mean, why was he on the roster if you weren't going to play him in a and make him the backup?
19:11I don't get it.
19:12I don't know what the loyalty to Russell Wilson was with Dable, but it's about time, you know,
19:18get him in there.
19:19Maybe he gives them a little jolt here and a little something to be excited about here
19:23if you're the Giants.
19:24And by the way, Russell Wilson was gifted like a double digit lead in that game against Chicago.
19:28You just had to guide them to victory and couldn't do it.
19:30It's a no brainer.
19:31It's like our season is off the rails, and if you are Mike Kafka, do you know what you
19:35want to show the franchise?
19:36Not that Russell Wilson can stay in the pocket and throw for 132 yards a game, get sacked
19:40and do nothing, and they lose.
19:42Hey, I'm going to put Jamison.
19:43I can show you a glimpse of what I can run as an offense if I get Jackson Dart next year
19:48under my tutelage, and if I have Jamis Winston winning football games or being competitive
19:52now, that's going to put me in a good light along the NFL because I think he's interviewed
19:56for seven or eight coaching jobs already.
19:58This is another interview that's not actually an interview.
20:01It makes sense because if Jamis Wilson throws, Winston throws for 300 yards a game and they
20:06lose, that's like, hey, not my fault.
20:08Offense is cooking.
20:09We don't even have that many weapons, but I'm moving the football.
20:11That's a big deal.
20:13Now they, talking about the Giants, are home this weekend, getting about a touchdown from
20:16the Green Bay Packers in a total of 43 and a half.
20:18I can't stand that Green Bay offense.
20:20I love that Green Bay defense, but now we got the best of both worlds, Joe.
20:24Whenever we look at totals, you want a quarterback that throws touchdown passes and
20:28interceptions at the same time.
20:29That's Jamis.
20:32Yeah, exactly.
20:33Correct.
20:33And expecting points, points, and maybe more points here.
20:37And listen, should be a good opportunity for a get right spot for the Green Bay Packers.
20:43But again, it's, there is nothing, I mean, already LaFleur is having to answer questions
20:49about, hey, what are, do you feel like you're on the hot seat?
20:52What about the play calling?
20:54You know what does away with all of that, Donnie, is winning games, especially the ones
20:59you're supposed to win.
21:00So I'll be interested to see, does this line continue to grow throughout the week?
21:05Or do we start to see the, you know, now you got Jamis and you got the, the fired coach
21:11bounce that everyone is going to be betting.
21:13Yeah.
21:13We saw Jamis on a primetime football game, let's say in the snow, I think it was against
21:17the Steelers and end up winning that football game.
21:19So he's got some moxie there back in that pocket.
21:22We'll see if it's kind of fun to watch, but also Ari Mirov sent out a tweet here with
21:25Jackson Darts rookie year statistics here, which included the concussions.
21:29But I just like, I don't even care what it says, Joe, look at the uniform for the New
21:34York Giants right there.
21:35Like that's the uniform.
21:36When I was a kid, the Giants were rocking and rolling in the 1980s.
21:40And I hate the New York Giants.
21:41That is such a clean uniform.
21:43The reason I wanted to bring that up is all the thoughts here, you know, make me commissioner,
21:46make me owner of a team.
21:47I'll give the fans exactly what they want.
21:49Wait till you see tomorrow.
21:50And I hope the graphics department gets it together.
21:52The uniform that the Patriots are wearing tomorrow instead of their true throwbacks,
21:57it upsets me.
21:58Like the Giants, give them what, like, if you're a Giants fan, which I'm not, Joe, and
22:03I see that picture of Jackson Dart, isn't that the uniform you want every single week?
22:07No?
22:07Like, am I wrong?
22:09Like, I'm not a Giant, but am I wrong?
22:10No, that's the vintage Giants uni right there.
22:16That's the one you want.
22:17Or the navy blue one.
22:18And that's exactly what you want.
22:21That harkens to the days when the Giants were actually relevant and really, really good here.
22:25But those numbers are scary.
22:27You're going to tell me that Jackson Dart leads the NFL in designed runs for a quarterback,
22:34and yet he's only played a handful of games?
22:38Like, you've got to be – why is Kafka even in the building?
22:42He should also be thrown out.
22:44Like, what are we doing here, Giants?
22:47Unbelievable.
22:47Yes, and the best part about it, like, you can go back to the answers that we were trying –
22:52or the questions that we were trying to answer over the summer.
22:54Like, why would these guys – they are in self-preservation mode, Joe Shane and also Dable.
22:58They will do whatever they can to win an extra football game to keep their job,
23:02even if it meant driving my quarterback into bulldozer after bulldozer
23:07and getting him concussion looks every single week.
23:09We'll see if that changes with Kafka here.
23:11But this week, it's not going to be Jackson Dart.
23:13It's going to be Jamie Swinston.
23:14Moving down the list, Chicago and Minnesota, love this game.
23:18This is interesting to me.
23:19Chicago comes with the comeback victory last week against the Giants.
23:22On-the-road division rival against Minnesota.
23:24Minnesota didn't look great, to say the least, against the Baltimore Ravens.
23:27A must-win situation for both of these teams and a favorite for Minnesota.
23:31Does Justin Jefferson get off the tarp here and dominate with J.J. McCarthy,
23:35or does Ben Johnson pick up a big win there on the road against Minnesota, Joe?
23:39Intriguing game.
23:40Yeah, it is, but it's been one-sided in the marketplace, Donnie.
23:45The pros have been betting Minnesota a lot.
23:48In fact, you know, we saw this at two and a half.
23:51It was bet to three.
23:52It was bet to three and a half, and even some spots up to four.
23:56And now we're kind of in that three and a half across the board.
23:59So clearly, there is a fade in the market of the Chicago team,
24:04and it looks like Minnesota might be in bounce-back mode here.
24:08I'll tell you a game that might be ugly and a sight for sore eyes.
24:12The Panthers are going to take on the Falcons.
24:15You might say, like, yeah, the Falcons should win this game.
24:17They can't stop anybody on the ground.
24:19Here comes Rico Dowdle down the pike here.
24:21And then you take a look at Carolina and be like, poof,
24:23that was a terrible performance against the Saints.
24:26Who's going to win the battle of the two teams that I could care less about
24:29in that division, Joe?
24:31Who's it going to be?
24:31Yeah, no, you're also getting, again, we've seen this kind of move
24:36in the direction there of the home team.
24:40It's interesting because you're so banged up with Carolina,
24:43but they have been good in this spot on the road as an underdog.
24:48This is where Carolina has been very bettable.
24:52And I'm sorry, I just do not trust this Atlanta team here.
24:56I think the seat is very hot for Raheem Morris.
24:59Hear me out on this, Joe.
25:01When we look at prop bets, which we're going to go over a lot of those
25:03later in the week, and this is going to be a Sunday game.
25:05Michael Penix is 228 and a half for his passing privacy.
25:07That's about normal.
25:08Maybe he gets that.
25:09Bryce Young, 160, Joe.
25:14160 for an NFL quarterback not named Justin Fields.
25:18What do you do with that today?
25:21Yeah, that's, well, who's healthy?
25:23Who's he throwing the ball to?
25:25Yeah, who's he throwing the ball to is the big question there.
25:28But I would tend to think that he's going to get more than 160 yards.
