00:00Please welcome your host, Fleur East.
00:30Hello and welcome to It Takes Two live on BBC Two and iPlayer.
00:36It's time to make some noise because Saturday night gave us another Strictly show that we all want to shout about.
00:42Another six tens and things are not slowing down as this weekend our remaining eight couples fight it out for a place at Blackpool.
00:52The competition really is heating up and here's what we're getting loud about tonight.
00:56He's been absolutely pectacular throughout the competition, but after finding himself in the darts off for the first time, the game is up for our gladiator.
01:07Harry and Carol will be here to say their final farewells.
01:10The best of the ballroom series continues as our reigning champion and favourite redhead Diane Buswell takes us through some of her unforgettable moments with partners including Bobby, Reverend Richard, Joe and Chris.
01:23Plus, she's back from the dead and back in her normal attire.
01:28Joanne Clifton will be dissecting the dances of the remaining eight couples in Choreography Corner.
01:35And before your time runs out, remember, you can send Harry and Karen any final questions you may have.
01:41Just WhatsApp us on 0800 022 3801 or scan the QR code on your screen.
01:46How was that for an opening?
01:49I thought it was a little try hard.
01:52Bit rude.
01:53Well, try this rundown on for size.
01:57Lewis's liquid hips, Carlos needs cardio, Alex got anxious, LaVoie, heel leads, Amber went airborne, George was gorgeous, Balbrook, Bollywood, Bangra and Vicky claim leaderboard victory.
02:07Here's the full weekend roundup while I get my breath back.
02:09What you have is insane and those hips, my love, were on fire.
02:20Your expression is so natural.
02:23I love you.
02:25Ten.
02:26Those tricks and then you walk around like this piece of cake.
02:30Clean, had great chemistry, I really enjoyed it.
02:33Ten.
02:34Try and elongate all of your backward steps.
02:39I can only do the choreography I'm giving, Anton.
02:43You offer so much, you have so much energy.
02:46What I want you to do is the details.
02:49You played it with great nobility, but I felt like you could have gone a lot further.
02:55The details of your hands, the detail of your feet, the way you were in control of it.
03:00I'm proud of you.
03:01Well done.
03:02I have to say, I think that's some of the best footwork I've ever seen in a Viennese one.
03:08Your line is the best line I've ever seen.
03:11I thought it was absolutely marvellous.
03:14Yay!
03:21What a fabulous weekend.
03:23But before we carry on with the show, we just want to take a moment to pay our respects to former Strictly alumni, Quentin Wilson, who sadly passed away at the weekend.
03:31He danced back in Series 2 with Hazel Newbery.
03:34We're sending our deepest condolences to his family and friends.
03:38Now, on with tonight's show, despite being determined to bring back the positive vibes, Harry and Karen fell victim to their first dance-off.
03:46And after a gladiatorial effort, they unfortunately fell off the edge and had to take the Travellator home.
03:52Here's how it all unfolded.
03:54I loved your energy.
03:58I loved your performance.
04:00I thought you brought everything to that dance.
04:02When I get this, I'm happy.
04:05When it comes to performing, I'm sure everybody at home will be up in their living room giving it the party feel.
04:10All in all, not the best for me, but not the worst.
04:12There was a little bit too much rise and fall in it, but I love your energy.
04:19It is absolutely intoxicating.
04:26It's Harry and Karen!
04:30Now, it's never easy being eliminated, but does it soften the blow a bit going out on a dance that you loved so much?
04:36To be fair, you know, this whole Strictly journey was just something that was something I imagined.
04:41You know, I'd always wanted to learn the song, but I said that straight away.
04:44And it is one of those things that brings the party, so it was nice to go out on a party.
04:47Yes, you brought the energy, definitely.
04:50Karen, how much more do you think Harry had to bring to the competition?
04:53I mean, he was already bringing everything.
04:57You know, he was giving it his all every week, and I mean, I couldn't be prouder of him.
05:01But yeah, you know, the development could have been even more.
05:05So, you know, but it's sadly come to an end.
05:08Well, you added a new word to the Strictly dictionary, peccography.
05:13Oh, there we go.
05:14There we have it.
05:15How difficult was it to get the timing right at the start of that dance?
05:18It's easier than you think.
05:20It was perfectly in sync with the beats.
05:23I was like, whoa.
05:24It's just, it's within you.
05:26You know, it's within you.
05:27The same way that you think about a rhythm, you know, you could play any rhythm for me now and I'd catch it.
05:32Give me a beat and I'll spit it.
05:33He really can do it to any beat.
05:40That is a gift right there.
05:42Honestly, that is a gift.
05:43Closing the show can be nerve-wracking, but was it made even harder seeing how everyone was bringing the energy and the standard that was set?
05:49Yeah.
05:49So, like, the standard is just so high.
05:52And I think at the end of the day, like, we went in there, we knew what we needed to do and we were going to do it.
05:56But like you say, look, it's amazing for people to watch.
05:58Everyone's getting entertainment and that's all it's about.
06:00Whether you bring up with your dancing ability or you bring it in a different capacity.
06:04I think for us, we recognise that I have what I have and we're doing what we can do.
06:08And a lot of people did enjoy it.
06:10And I thank everyone that reached out and has said how much they enjoyed it.
06:12And that's what really matters to both of us.
06:15Well, you landed in your first and last dance-off of the series.
06:18Karen, does it get any easier after all these years?
06:21Absolutely not.
06:22We, you know, it's heartbreaking to be there.
06:25You don't want your celebrity there because you feel like, you're like, what else could I have done, you know, to help?
06:31But again, you know, we are so happy with all the support that everyone, you know, when everyone was voting for us and supporting us.
06:38But it does not get, it is frightening.
06:41Yeah.
06:41It is frightening.
06:42So if you have your favourites, vote for them.
06:44Because they do not want to be in a dance-off.
06:46That red light does something to you.
06:48It does.
06:48Deep inside.
06:50What is the third year in a row that you've been eliminated on a samba, Karen?
06:54Are you seeing it as like your dance of death?
06:56No, I love it.
06:57I actually love it, you know.
06:59And I was like, who did I?
07:00And I was like, oh, I remember now.
07:02Paul Morrison last year and then Eddie Cady the year before.
07:07But, you know, we loved it.
07:09Such a fun dance.
07:10It is a fun dance.
07:11It is a great dance.
07:12And I, you know what, you never see it coming.
07:15You do not go, oh, it is probably going to be our, we are going to be in the dance-off.
07:18You never think of it like that.
07:19So, like we said, it is a party dance and we enjoyed it.
07:22And I just love seeing this guy smile.
07:24Oh, well, your daughter loved seeing you smile again, didn't she?
07:27Because she was upset that you were sad the week before.
07:30So, was she happy to see you smile?
07:31More than happy.
07:32Even given the circumstances?
07:33Yeah, more than happy.
07:34I think the thing is with, especially when you've got little ones at home and you're trying to inspire them to go on to be great,
07:38you've got to set the standard that no matter what happens, you can always smile.
07:43And when I was a little bit down, she was so concerned because she's not used to seeing her big gladiator daddy who can achieve everything and do everything in her eyes a little bit down.
07:51So, we bounced back, we smiled and now she's so much more happier.
07:55Well, you did your daughter proud and you did everybody proud.
07:58It's time to look at your best bits.
08:01I've got the gladiatorial strength.
08:03I've got my Olympic speed.
08:05But, can I dance?
08:07I guess it's go time.
08:09What do I need for my dance partner?
08:11Someone that can match my energy.
08:15Harry's very strong, so I am looking forward to being lifted.
08:18You know, I want...
08:19You've got a viral moment in there.
08:24It's going to be on TikTok, that push-up.
08:26This time last year, I just, I wasn't able to do anything like that.
08:29And I never thought I'd be myself again.
08:31I've dreamt of that moment, and I'm here, I'm 100%.
08:34It's really difficult, and that's the reason why I'm doing Strictly, because once you challenge yourself and you kind of have that breakthrough moment, you just go, ooh.
08:43You have the most amazing musicality.
08:46The thing about Strictly that drew me in to take part was my daughter.
08:51She will be absolutely buzzing watching me on Saturday nights.
08:54Are we proud of Daddy?
08:55Yeah.
08:56Yeah!
08:56How are you gonna be again?
09:00That's your best dance so far.
09:02Well done.
09:03King of the jungle, king of the jungle right here.
09:07Karen has helped me with my confidence so much.
09:09She's such an amazing person.
09:12I'm actually starting to enjoy it.
09:15Can we all speak about the chemistry?
09:21He's thinking like a dancer now, and it's quite nice to see how comfortable he's becoming with himself.
09:27You had the demureness, you had the swath, you were always in control.
09:34Line!
09:35Saturday night was so iconic.
09:38We're through to another week.
09:39I'm absolutely over the moon.
09:42Nice feel, lovely line, all good apart from the mistake in the middle.
09:47Unfortunately, well, you made the mistake.
09:49You want the world to eat you up.
09:50But never give up.
09:52I've made it past the halfway point.
09:54I'm gonna give it my all and just keep pushing.
09:59Not the best for me, but not the worst for you.
10:01If you don't get the details, you become an easy target.
10:07We've had the best time.
10:08Yeah.
10:08And it was an honour to teach you.
10:11I think I'll take away an essence of confidence and knowing that I challenge myself.
10:14It's really, really nice to be in a space where, you know, people accept you for who you are.
10:19I just gave it my all.
10:20And it's been emotional.
10:22I'm gonna be really sad to leave it behind.
10:28Harry, what's been the thing about Strictly that's made you enjoy it so much?
10:32Oh, that was tough, wasn't it?
10:35Actually, it's just, like, just thank you, everyone.
10:37It's just one of those things that the magic of Strictly is something you only see on telly,
10:41but to actually truly live it, breathe it, is the people.
10:44It's yourself, it's Karen, it's everyone behind these cameras,
10:47it's the makeup, it's the wardrobe, the runners.
10:49Like, everyone in this building, you see something on TV for a couple of hours
10:52and it's the people behind it that keep you uplifted, that keep you smiling,
10:56that make you want to be that great individual.
10:59And, you know, when you come back to your dressing room and shout out to Rebecca, our runner.
11:03You know, she's been like a little sister taking care of us.
11:06And, you know, everyone in wardrobe, you see Vicky, you see Ezra, you see Meg.
11:09Like, just everyone makes it so special.
11:12And I just want to say thank you to you all.
11:13Yes, big up the Strictly fan behind the scenes, well said.
11:16And, Karen, you've spent the last couple of months teaching Harry,
11:19but what has he taught you?
11:21I mean, this guy never came in, like, looking sad, always with a smile,
11:26always treating people with kindness and such positivity.
11:29And everyone just adores you.
11:32And I literally get to, you know, be your friend because you're not getting rid of me.
11:36I'm sorry.
11:37And I'm coming to watch you at Gladiators.
11:40But you know what?
11:41It's been a privilege to teach an Olympian and teach someone with such great feel for life.
11:52So thank you.
11:53Thank you, Karen.
11:54Stop it!
11:55So much energy, Harry.
11:57We need to know.
11:57Does this mean you can finally get back in the gym?
12:00My other job requires me to.
12:03So I'll be back gladiating, climbing walls, you know, doing things with pugil sticks.
12:10I've got to go do all that stuff.
12:11So I have to be a little bit strong for that.
12:13Yeah, well, honestly, we are going to miss your energy and the peck-ography.
12:17For the last time, it's Harry and Karen.
12:19Woo!
12:24When it comes to the pros, no one has lived and breathed Strictly,
12:27quite like our Aussie idol, Diane.
12:29She's made friends for life, met her partner, danced pregnant, lifted the glitter ball and even won a BAFTA.
12:36It's time for the best of the ballroom with Diane Buswell.
12:39Let's do this.
12:48This is my ninth year on Strictly and honestly, it always still feels like the first year.
12:54Everyone's like, when are you going to leave?
12:56I'm like, no.
12:57How many more years can I do?
12:59That's the question.
13:00My very first partner, the lovely Reverend Richard Coles, or as I called him, Revo.
13:08He came down in a cloud playing the harp.
13:13I mean, what a man!
13:17When I go out and dance now, I do get quite nervous.
13:20But I think the first one was just more excitement.
13:23I was just like, oh my God, I'm on Strictly and I'm from Australia!
13:26Yeah, that cha-cha was a real special moment for me.
13:33Themed weeks on Strictly are my absolute favourite.
13:37I did a dance with Tyler on Halloween week.
13:42Honestly, I was so proud of that number.
13:45And then we'd go, girl!
13:47How I like to make my choreography is like little mini movies and stuff.
13:56But to do that in a minute 30 is quite hard.
13:59But I think it really did come across.
14:01I loved it so much.
14:04And then the creepy hands, like, took our faces.
14:08Oh, it was just such a good dance.
14:10In this show, it's so important to work with your partner's strengths.
14:16One young man in particular, Bobby Brazier, we were doing our samba in week three.
14:23At the start of the week, I was worried.
14:26And then just something clicked.
14:29I discovered the use of his hips.
14:32And I was like, that's what I need.
14:38And they turned out to be quite some iconic hips.
14:43And it went off.
14:48We ended up getting three tens for it in the final.
14:51Ten! Ten!
14:53Ten!
14:53Ten! Ten!
14:54Ten! Ten! Ten!
14:54It made me extremely proud of him.
14:58Chris McCausland, my champion.
15:04The waltz is one dance that will always have a special place in my heart.
15:09When you walk through the snow.
15:12He closed his eyes.
15:14I remember going, he is loving this.
15:18And don't be afraid.
15:18Oh, it was so powerful, it gives me goose bumps.
15:25And then it was the moment where I left him to walk alone
15:27and I pulled back from him, but I watched him the whole time.
15:35And the vulnerability on his face.
15:39She went from vulnerable to, like, I feel safe again.
15:56So beautiful, so emotive.
16:00I think we just cuddled each other and cried in each other's arms.
16:04I loved every single second of it
16:06and I've never felt more proud of when I finished Dancers
16:11as when I was with Chris.
16:13It was a dream come true, it really was.
16:18Ladies and gentlemen, it's quick step time
16:21here at the Blackpool Tower.
16:24Strictly has definitely changed my life in more ways than one.
16:28I met my wonderful partner, Joe Sugg, in 2018
16:33and we've been together ever since.
16:36Take me where the wind of this crazy
16:39That quick step from Blackpool was such a beautiful number.
16:44Let's go!
16:46This was the first time that I properly did a beautiful ballroom dance
16:50on the Blackpool floor
16:52and it was something I wanted to do since I was, like, six years old.
16:56I've been dancing for Chris!
16:58Yeah!
16:59Yeah!
16:59Yeah!
17:01To be the first dancer to be performing live on Strictly Pregnant
17:09It's really empowering.
17:11It's quite cool to say it to my future son
17:15I actually dance with you in my tummy there.
17:17The girl will be keeping you in line.
17:19It's Diane!
17:20It's all documented.
17:22He could go back and watch it all from day dot when his mum and dad met, which is so cool.
17:29It's mind-blowing how much has happened in nine years.
17:33But I'm very grateful for Strictly.
17:35I'm grateful for the people I've met
17:37and grateful for the journey that's yet to come.
17:45Diane has truly given us some incredible moments over the years.
17:48And of course, she's our reigning champion.

19:23Yeah!
19:25Yeah!
19:28Great to see you, Pudsey.
19:29How are you?
19:30Great.
19:31Are you enjoying Strictly this year?
19:34OK.
19:35Well, I'm glad you're here because I need your help, actually.
19:38Jeanette is doing Ask the Pros on Thursday with Lauren, Yavita and Luba.
19:42There they are.
19:43And she wanted to give everyone a reminder of the WhatsApp number.
19:46But do you know the jingle?
19:47Yeah.
19:48Oh, great.
19:48Well, let's do it then.
19:49Take it away, Pudsey and Joanne.
19:51If you want to ask the pros to know how it's done, it's 0800-0223-801.
19:58That's 0800-0223-801.
20:02Yes!
20:03Yes!
20:04Yes!
20:05Ah!
20:06Ah!
20:07I love it.
20:08Remember, you can send your questions as a video voicer or message and don't forget to
20:11tell us who you are.
20:13Right.
20:14Right.
20:15It's a busy time of year for Pudsey, so he's got to go now.
20:17Aww.
20:18Aww.
20:19So sad.
20:20But stay right there, Joanne, because next up it's Choreography Corner and I want to know
20:23the bare necessities that our celebs are going to need to get to Blackpool.
20:26Hang on.
20:27That's the wrong bear.
20:28Cover your ears, Pudsey.
20:29Come on.
20:30Let's go.
20:31Let's go.
20:32Whoo!
20:33Whoo!
20:34Whoo!
20:35Whoo!
20:36Whoo!
20:37Whoo!
20:38Whoo!
20:39Whoo!
20:40Whoo!
20:40Whoo!
20:41Whoo!
20:42Whoo!
20:43Yes!
20:45It's Joanne Clifton, everyone!
20:46Whoo!
20:47OK, let's get to it, George and Alexis and their Viennese waltz.
20:49Now, Shirley thought that George's footwork was some of the best she'd ever seen in a Viennese
21:01but Craig didn't think it was perfect.
21:03Who do you agree with and why?
21:05Well, the thing is, he missed one heel,
21:08which was right there on the first step into a natural turn,
21:10and he did do a reverse pleckle on all the toes.
21:13So you could say it wasn't perfect.
21:15However, the judges don't have long to speak,
21:18and I think what Shirley saw was what I saw as well.
21:21It wasn't actually the footwork in a sense, heel, toe, toe, heel.
21:25It was how he used them.
21:27It was like the foot action and the use of the foot rolling through.
21:30And combine that with the standing leg,
21:32we actually got such body flight across the floor,
21:35which I think is some of the best...
21:37Like, it's possibly the best body flight we've had from a male celeb.
21:41And he could have, like, thought,
21:43oh, no, she's a little pocket rocket,
21:44maybe she can't stride as much, but he didn't.
21:46He just went for it, and I thought it was incredible.
21:47Yes, body flight. I love it.
21:49On to Karen and Carlos and their Charleston.
21:51This was a jam-packed routine,
21:54but Anton, Shirley and Craig all felt that it could have had more swivel.
21:57Was this an issue for you?
21:58I did note about the swivel,
22:01but I actually thought she can't swivel on one foot,
22:04and it's the right foot that she...
22:06Here we go, look at the right one.
22:07It kind of stopped. Do you see what I mean?
22:09But they were really clever in a sense.
22:10It was choreographed.
22:11I thought they, like, sussed that out at the beginning.
22:13They choreographed a lot of Lindy Hopps,
22:15so it's kicks like the amazing jive that she did.
22:18However, if she does it, say, in the final,
22:20and the judges pick it and say,
22:21no, we need to see more swivel,
22:22she needs to practice from now doing the swivel like this.
22:25So you think about, Dorothy, no place like home,
22:28there's no place like home.
22:30And every no and home,
22:32the heels are on the floor and together.
22:34Then you put it into the steps and put it into the steps.
22:38No place like home.
22:39No place like home.
22:40I don't know how you're doing that in those heels.
22:43Respect.
22:43Okay, on to Amber and Nikita and the salsa.
22:46Now, the judges had nothing but praise for this pair,
22:49and they finally secured their first tens.
22:51What made this routine worthy of those scores?
22:54Oh, I mean, it was actually a really difficult routine,
22:57and it did have other elements from other styles of dances.
23:00She did great body rolls.
23:01The energy was there.
23:02Insane lifts.
23:03Speed changes.
23:04It was precise.
23:05So I kind of thought to myself,
23:06why did it not get all tens?
23:08And there was two things why, I think.
23:10You could see it really when they were next to each other,
23:13and they were just doing this side-to-side salsa.
23:16With Nikita, the arms came more natural.
23:18She's a perfectionist, you can tell,
23:20and she was kind of moving the arms how she'd been told.
23:22It wasn't coming from the body.
23:24And the other thing was the rotation of the hips.
23:26Shirley talks about it on the back replace.
23:28I felt like she rotated the whole body
23:32rather than just the hip.
23:34Isolating the hips.
23:35Okay.
23:36On to Alex and Jojo and the Paso Doble.
23:38Now, Motsi and Anton could both sense Alex's nerves,
23:41and Craig felt that it lacked shaping.
23:43How could she work on this?
23:45Well, the thing is,
23:46I think how the judges spoke about it,
23:48it actually made it out to be worse than it was.
23:50I didn't think it was that bad.
23:51I thought it was quite good.
23:52She did have a little stumble here,
23:53which threw her,
23:54which you see in a second.
23:55Oh, just a bit off balance there.
23:57But actually, it was pretty good.
23:58I think that they've listened
23:59to what the judges have said recently,
24:01especially Shirley saying,
24:02oh, I like a calm, regal, beautiful line,
24:07kind of Paso Doble.
24:08I think they went for that,
24:09but what was missing was kind of the intent
24:11and the kind of like moving directly
24:13and also some stretch.
24:15I wanted us to think that there was like
24:17a ball of elastic bands in her centre
24:19and every limb was attached to it
24:20so that every movement,
24:21instead of just going like that,
24:22there was resistance and stretch to it
24:26because it all connects from here.
24:28Okay, on to Vicky and Kai.
24:30We need to talk about this.
24:31Tango, top of the leaderboard
24:33and three tens.
24:34Anton in particular was impressed
24:36with her Spanish drag.
24:38Where was this in the routine
24:39and why was it so impressive?
24:40Right, let's have a look at the clip
24:41and we shall see it.
24:43It's coming up.
24:44It's where they go to the side
24:45and bam, that was it.
24:46Then they look at each other,
24:48little sultry shoulder wiggle there
24:49and into a massive line
24:50of a same foot lunge.
24:51Now, I think I want to show you that,
24:53you know,
24:54and how to do it in demo time.
25:00Right, you're going to be Kai.
25:02Come here.
25:02Right, so we're going to be here.
25:04We're going to step that way.
25:05So all it is, is one step.
25:07It is bam.
25:08We look at each other.
25:10We could do a vampire head
25:11where it's like into the neck,
25:13but no, we'll keep it there.
25:14We'll do some sultry little shoulders
25:15and then from into the next line.
25:19Now, if I just do it from the front here,
25:20what I was impressed with,
25:21with beginners normally,
25:22they just go,
25:23oh yeah, boom,
25:24I've got to end up there.
25:25However, the famous dancer said,
25:27you can crack a whip,
25:29but you can't crack steel,
25:30meaning like a whip is soft,
25:32so it's like,
25:33and it's fast.
25:34It's like a,
25:35like a breathe out.
25:36If you hold everything in,
25:38it's going to go,
25:39boom.
25:39If you like,
25:40and then hold it,
25:43it's a little bit sharp
25:44and she did that
25:44with every turn of the head
25:46as well,
25:46so I was really impressed about that.
25:47Dance,
25:48the sound effects
25:48are my favourite thing.
25:50I love it.
25:51On to Lewis and Katia
25:52for the cha-cha-cha.
25:53Another high score
25:55for Lewis and Katia.
25:56Shirley noted the accents
25:57in the choreography
25:58and said they were well-balanced.
26:00What did she mean by that?
26:01Well,
26:01it was in the choreography
26:02but also in the music.
26:04You know,
26:05there's certain beats
26:06and certain steps
26:06that you can hit hard.
26:07I think one of the judges
26:08did say,
26:09oh,
26:09it hit everything too hard.
26:10I didn't agree.
26:11Like,
26:11if you look at this,
26:12the New Yorkers there,
26:14like,
26:14normally,
26:15if you teach a beginner,
26:16you'd go,
26:17okay,
26:17hit the line
26:17and bam,
26:19every time you do it.
26:20If you watch that one,
26:21they kind of went,
26:22yeah,
26:23so they changed
26:25the accent of it.
26:26They didn't make
26:26everything like that.
26:27It was, like,
26:28into it.
26:28For me,
26:29sometimes a little bit
26:31too short
26:31in the lower back here.
26:33I'd love him to,
26:34like we said last week,
26:35press the belly button
26:36onto the spine
26:37to pull him up a little bit
26:38to really show off
26:40how coordinated he is.
26:41So that's another
26:42incredible dance.
26:43Okay,
26:43next up,
26:43let's talk about
26:44Balvinda and Julian
26:45and the couple's choice.
26:46Her highest score today
26:47Craig praised Balv's
26:49shaping and timing
26:50but felt that
26:51it lacked definition.
26:52What did you enjoy
26:53the most about this routine?
26:54There's kind of like
26:55two ways of looking at this,
26:56I think.
26:56I mean,
26:57they do a lot side by side
26:58and did she have the same
27:00energy and attack
27:01as Julian?
27:01Maybe not.
27:02Was it always in sync?
27:04Maybe not.
27:05But what she did do
27:06and I kind of agreed with,
27:08I think both ladies
27:09said it,
27:09it was so feminine
27:11and soft
27:12that there was a story
27:13going on
27:14even though they were
27:15side by side
27:15doing the exact same steps.
27:17It wasn't just,
27:17here's our dance.
27:19We had Julian on one side
27:20being powerful
27:20and we had her on the other side,
27:22Bal on the other side
27:22being sensitive and soft
27:24doing the same steps
27:25and also,
27:26I haven't studied
27:26Bollywood dancing
27:27however,
27:27I do know that
27:28the hand positions
27:29and the arm positions
27:29tell a story in themselves
27:30so I think
27:31throughout the whole thing
27:32we kind of got
27:33this amazing storytelling
27:34from it.
27:35Yeah,
27:35it was lovely.
27:36I really enjoyed it.
27:37On to La Voie and Aliash
27:38and the foxtrot.
27:39Motsi would like La Voie
27:40to translate her love
27:41of dance to her body
27:42and extend her spine
27:44so how can she work on this
27:45for future ballroom dances?
27:47Well, first of all
27:47I actually really enjoyed this dance
27:49because there was a lot of it in hold
27:51like they stayed in hold for ages
27:53which is a risk
27:54because the more you stay in that hold
27:55the more it could slightly go out
27:57and distort a little bit.
27:58This is a reverse wave
27:59she had really good footwork on it
28:01but the main problem I think
28:03is in foxtrot
28:04there's a lot of outside part
28:05in a position
28:06meaning
28:06when we're together
28:08we've got Aliash's
28:08both feet here
28:10and La Voie's
28:11both of her feet there
28:13so what we have to do
28:15to get past each other
28:16is actually rotate the hip
28:18and stride backwards
28:19to keep that
28:20if you can see
28:21I've got a diagonal line
28:22oh I've got a drawing
28:23I forgot about a drawing
28:24I've got a drawing
28:26here's one actually earlier
28:27and basically
28:30what La Voie didn't do
28:32was rotate
28:33her hip just went to the side
28:35to try and let Aliash through
28:36and so we got this kind of
28:38that in her
28:39in her position
28:40whereas if you rotate
28:42and you reach back with that
28:44you can keep your contact point there
28:46in the middle of his belt on Aliash
28:48so that you've got a diagonal stretch
28:50out to the side
28:51beautiful
28:51I love when you bring your drawings
28:52I forgot about
28:53so talented
28:54you'll be back with us next week
