00:10not be really good offensively?

00:11They are.

00:12Why would a defense that came on like gangbusters throughout last season

00:16and was very young last year not be better this year?

00:20They are.

00:21So there's elements, Joe, of the Rams.

00:24They are, admittedly, and again, you win some, you lose some.

00:30If they would have won either one of the two games that they lost,

00:32whether it be to the Niners or the Eagles,

00:34they, I think, would be seen as, I don't know about clear,

00:38but I think they would be discussed as the NFC favorites.

00:43I think they would be priced as the NFC favorites.

00:45So, like I said, it's not a ridiculous case to believe L.A.

00:51And, by the way, if you're the best team in the NFC,

00:52you have an easy argument for best team in football

00:54because the NFC is much better than the AFC this season.

00:56Yeah, I mean, they won the West last year with a 10-7 record.

01:00So, and again, you look at, yeah, the perception is,

01:05oh, they should have beaten Philly.

01:06But let's put it into perspective.

01:09A what?

01:10A 19-7 halftime lead?

01:12They had a 26-7 lead on Philly,

01:15and that defense allowed 33 points, right,

01:19or 26 in the second half.

01:21They got lit up.

01:21Right?

01:22They beat, basically, a dead Houston team 14-9 to start the year.

01:27Yeah, Titans.

01:27Titans.

01:28Well, so, okay.

01:29They struggle with the Ravens and Cooper Rush and Tyler Hartley.

01:33I want to meet you somewhere.

01:34I want to meet you on this.

01:36God.

01:37This happened last year with the NFC North.

01:39Oh, NFC North.

01:40I mean, is this the greatest division in the history of the league?

01:42And you look back and you go, hmm,

01:45they both played the AFC South and the NFC South.

01:50And guess who this year plays both the AFC South and the NFC South?

01:55Yeah.

01:55The NFC West.

01:57So, I think they've all beaten the Titans other than the Niners,

02:01who will eventually add that to their resume, right?

02:04They've all beaten the New Orleans Saints.

02:07Like, you wonder how this stuff happens, though.

02:10Right.

02:11But people don't talk about that.

02:13Their quality win is beating the Colts, right?

02:16Yeah, I'm not saying the Rams are a good team.

02:17And that was also the game that A.D. Mitchell, you know,

02:19had the touchdown and it goes through.

02:21Yeah.

02:22Poor kid.

02:23Right?

02:24He's a jet now.

02:25And their recent win over Jacksonville,

02:27because Jacksonville has looked better over the past couple –

02:30Nobody believes in Jacksonville, though, is the reality.

02:33But does anybody believe in Jacksonville?

02:36No.

02:36They're barely booked as favorites against Davis-Mill today.

02:38I think that's the –

02:40But if they get the win today, they'll have six wins, right?

02:43Sure.

02:44You know, I mean, it is amazing that the Chiefs are back,

02:49but Jacksonville beat the Chiefs.

02:50Yeah, but that's a whole other –

02:52I know.

02:53But that is the perception.

02:55So, when we're looking at the Rams and we say, okay,

02:58they're contenders, hands down, this is Matt Stafford, right?

03:01Okay, let's call it what it is.

03:03Can they be exposed defensively?

03:05Matt Jones and Scrubs put up 30-plus points on that defense

03:10and 400 yards passing.

03:12So, okay, every team has a weakness, including the Eagles.

03:17If you're asking me, yeah, the Rams might be booked as favorites

03:21in the NFC in a couple weeks, depending upon what –

03:24but my money is still going on Philly because I think in a tough spot,

03:28I'm willing to bet that team that I am Matt Stafford and McVay.

03:32Okay.
