01:39justin herbert they did that a ton early in the year hope to do the same this year they bring in

01:45naji harris from pittsburgh and they draft the marion hampton the very talented running back

01:50out of north carolina in the opening round that's what la really did to improve the offense this

01:56off season not a big play wide receiver but a consistently talented running back in naji harris

02:02yeah because we want to see herbert eat right we're going to see those vertical games extended and maybe

02:07they can do that a little bit more this year but the ground game is going to be solid that nasty

02:10offensive line now ben let's look at the schedule here and here's the shame of it sometimes where

02:14you boil down yeah if you ask like the nfl is about business the nfl is about making money we

02:19understand that and having overseas games makes a lot of sense because you bring different markets

02:23in its packages now and i put it this way i love that friday night opening weekend thursday friday

02:29sunday and then monday fantastic stuff you saw last year with the packers and the philadelphia eagles

02:34was a horrible you know game itself to watch from a player perspective because all they did was

02:39slip around in an ice skating rink but it was entertaining nonetheless with big ratings here

02:43here's the problem that you have if you ask jim harbaugh on the chargers hey you know what

02:46who's your division rival i don't know let's just say it's the kansas city chiefs hey by the way

02:50you're gonna have a neutral site game and then you're gonna play on the road against kansas

02:52like what is the deal here like i'm not saying you have the biggest home field advantage but

02:57kansas city opening up where you have them at home so much different it's the same way me being

03:01an eagles fan last year yes the eagles picked up a victory against green bay it's like come on now

03:06this game's in philadelphia what a huge advantage we have now you have a less advantage but let's

03:10just say the charges get that opening day win ben against the kansas city chiefs i'm gonna read you

03:15the games up to the bye week you might have a clean runway here the chiefs game let's just say

03:19one and oh we'll give it to them there at the vegas raiders they should be better than them and be

03:23able to win that game road game it's always tough to win the nfl i get it the broncos at home the

03:27broncos are good team but it's home the giants on the road who knows what we're getting out of them

03:31but you don't want to waste a home game you can handle the giants on the road the commanders a

03:35really good football team where is that ben at home in your own building you go on the road to

03:39the dolphins who i don't have a lot of expectations for this year then you get the colts at home that

03:43should be a win the vikings at home who knows what we're getting out of jj mccarthy but it's home that

03:47should be a win at the titans who have a rookie quarterback and maybe bottom feeders here in the

03:52afc this year then the steelers at home and then again the jacks with jaguars on the road before you

03:56get the bye like that sounds like maybe two losses there with a ton of wins and a chance to really

04:02get your season off in the right direction but the focus on game number one against the

04:06kansas city chiefs is where we need it right now but i like that start to the season
