00:29for his franchise quarterback, Jaden Daniels.
00:31Defensive guys love running the ball.
00:33They do.
00:34And Jaden Daniels is someone we have to worry
00:36about staying on the field.
00:38Well, less dropbacks, more handoffs.
00:41And simply put, the combination of Jeremiah Love
00:46and Jaden Daniels in a backfield sounds as big a nightmare
00:50for any defense to deal with as you could possibly imagine.
00:54I know people don't love running backs going super early.
00:57I understand they've got a franchise quarterback.
01:00Maybe they need to look elsewhere.
01:01I really think Jeremiah Love could come off the board
01:04at seven for Washington.
01:06Best running back in the draft class.
01:09I mean, athleticism is similar to Saquon Barkley.

01:15the second coming of Saquon,
01:17but he's jumping over guys throughout South Bend,
01:20his career there, right?
01:21I mean, he could catch the football.
01:23I mean, here's the problem, though, Kev, and I'm not knocking it,
01:27but Cliff Kingsbury is no longer the OC.
01:29They had one of the best rushing attacks with Kingsbury there.
01:33He's gone now, and now you're going to draft a running back?
01:36I'm just saying, it's a good fit.
01:38They need to take the pressure off of Jaden Daniels.
01:41His durability is a concern.
01:43Hopefully he comes back 100%.
01:45You don't want him to take as many shots as he's taken.
01:49It's not a bad look.
01:51But, again, they're another team outside of Terry McLaurin.
01:54Who do they have at wide receiver?
01:55They have a bunch of nobodies, Kev.

02:06It is very difficult with running backs
02:09and figuring out the home for them inside these drafts
02:13because there are some people who believe
02:15no matter how talented the player is,
02:16they shouldn't go inside the top 25, right?
02:19I will just – flatly, I think Jeremiah Love's a better football player
02:23than any of these wide receivers.
02:24That's what I believe.
02:26And I think we have seen, when you have an elite offense,
02:29if you can add an elite running back,
02:31it just takes it to a completely different level.
02:33Think about Saquon and the Philadelphia Eagles, obviously, a season ago.
02:36What Derrick Henry has been able to do in Baltimore.
02:39And we might say to ourselves,
02:41well, does Washington have an elite offense?
02:43I think with a healthy Jaden Daniels,
02:45a healthy Jaden Daniels, you can get close.
02:48And I think Jeremiah Love would be more of an X factor, Joe,
02:52than any of these wide receivers for Washington.
02:55But the question might be, Joe, on the other side of it is,
02:59does this team need to be drafting defense
03:01because the defense was pretty bad last year
03:03and Dan Quinn could be more interested in shoring up his side of the ball
03:10to protect his job?
03:13Yeah, I mean, that's a huge cause of concern
03:17because did he get exposed last year, Kevin?
03:20Right?
03:20Because you can't make that assessment because the injuries.
03:25So it's like, okay, he gets a pass in year two,
03:28but then if all of a sudden the defense is pathetic,
03:32then it's like, well, is Dan Quinn a great defensive coordinator?
03:37That is the cause of concern.
03:38So I agree with you.
03:40But we interviewed Jeremiah Love.
03:43He has an amazing talent, Kevin.
03:45He could change the complexity of a game.
03:51I'm very interested because this is going to be something
03:54that we focus on quite a bit.
03:56They usually will drop the odds after the opening day of the draft.
04:03If Mendoza or Jeremiah Love will be the favorite
04:07for offensive rookie of the year
04:09because Mendoza as the quarterback is going to have the leg up.
04:15I think the Raiders will be projected to be one of the three worst teams
04:18in football.
04:20Jeremiah Love, if he lands up in a Washington,
04:23a Kansas City, a Cincinnati, a Dallas,
04:29he might have top five odds to lead the NFL in rushing yards.
04:32Like, serious.
04:34Like, it gets very, very interesting.
