00:00and welcome to Hannity. Now tonight we will have exclusive reaction to Jesse's very powerful
00:06interview with Erica Kirk that you just watched that's coming up in a few moments but first
00:11this is a Fox News alert tonight as I have been warning on this program over and over and over
00:17and over again it's not a matter of with if but it's when the next major terror attack is carried
00:24out right here on U.S. soil Biden's wide open border policies coupled with his politicized
00:30weaponized DOJ I have said predicted over and over will lead to deadly consequences now they will
00:37ultimately have a lot more blood on their hands thankfully the latest plot was upended by the
00:43Trump administration take a look at this the president directives to federal law enforcement
00:48are very clear act quickly work together and stop threats before innocent people are harmed
00:56yesterday my office working hand in hand with the national security division in my office
01:03did just that and charged two individuals by federal complaint connected to the Halloween
01:08terror plot in Detroit the first suspect is charged with conspiring to provide material support to a
01:15designated terrorist organization the second suspect is charged with transmitting violent
01:21anti-semitic threats across the internet to individuals in the state of New Jersey and beyond
01:26now in addition to the arrest multiple AR-15s were recovered along with several other weapons more
01:33than 1600 rounds of ammunition tactical vests GoPro cameras as well as a plan to flee to Syria and join
01:42ISIS after carrying out what would have been a horrific Halloween night attack unfortunately Democrats are
01:49still not taking this very real threat seriously in New York City nearly 25 years after the 9-11 attacks
01:57Democrats just elected a radical Marxist who until very recently wanted to defund the NYPD has said
02:05repeatedly violent vicious things about the New York police department vilified them over and over again and in
02:14Virginia Democrats elected an attorney general there who proudly called for his political opponent and his young
02:21children to be killed so in his words he could piss on their graves so to anyone on the left that is watching
02:28tonight please spare us the you know all the hand-wringing and feigned moral outrage and aggression that you have and hostility towards conservatives and the rhetoric that is insightful
02:41dehumanizing has to stop because apparently actual political violence and rhetoric is just not a big deal apparently inside the Democratic Party because they keep saying these things over and over just a few short weeks after Charlie Kirk was assassinated his
02:57his widow as we showed you Erica sat down with our very own Jesse waters in a wide-ranging interview that did air earlier tonight take a look
03:04what's the hardest part of your day the night night time always I'll tell him about my day I talk to him all the time but the nights are the hardest we're going to have reaction to this heart-wrenching interview with some of Charlie and Erica's closest friends and
03:27that's straight ahead but this brings us to last night's election unfortunately the results really did not in spite of what some people are trying to claim it did not indicate much about the overall direction of the country
03:40let me say it differently every result was entirely predictable three blue states that President Trump himself lost all three times he ran for president they still voted for Democrats
03:54here's the revealing part from last night the transformation of the Democratic Party into full-tilt radical communism is now almost complete Zoran as we affectionately call him commie Marxist Momdani is now the most popular Democrat in America the poster child of the extreme radical base that controls the once way more moderate Democratic Party and I thought they were extreme then this is a 34-year-old
04:234-year-old loud and proud communist who even quotes Karl Marx himself in fact during last night's
04:30no Stalin-esque appearance speech Momdani quoted two other radical socialists including an Indian politician whose socialist policies have caused a horrific famine and of course Eugene V. Debs the founder of the Socialist Party of America you know the one that wanted to completely abolish capitalism
04:50and like his two idols Momdani also wants the government to control the means of production every aspect of your life because no issue is too small for government involvement take a look
04:57We will prove that there is no problem too large for government to solve and no concern too small for it to care about
05:09To each New Yorker according to the need from each New Yorker according to their ability the U-Haul trucks are getting loaded right now as you might have noticed this was not a happy speech
05:24Momdani hates capitalism and America's core principles including life liberties and success and prosperity in other words the American dream
05:31So now he's on a mission to upend the American way of life by vilifying people that he deems quote the oppressors while elevating those he deems oppressed but like any good communist throughout history his goals are ripe with hypocrisy Momdani was born into an ultra wealthy family and
05:53By the way lives in a rent stabilized apartment backed by one of the richest billionaires in this country his base consists of affluent Americans while working-class people in New York City preferred to other candidates in other words Momdani now perfectly represents the modern radicalized Democratic Party at its core this is a group of over educated under skilled American hating you know
06:22Hating Israel of Palestine obsessed emotional train wrecks filled with envy and rage here's just a small sample from last night last night's victory quote celebration take a look
06:34We are in the heart of the imperial core this is a country that defeated the USSR unfortunately and the reality of the matter is there's a lot of antagonism there's no class consciousness in the United States of America but now socialist is not a dirty word anymore
06:51What do you say? Socialism is not a dirty word anymore
06:53What do you say? Socialism is not a dirty word anymore
06:54Well that's why they jumped to communists right? You've got to be a communist
06:56Socialism is not a dirty word anymore
06:58Socialism is not a dirty word anymore Democrats listen up take some lessons
07:05Americans have no culture except for multicultural
07:09Well said
07:10And we need to teach people how to embrace that these crusty white people that can learn how to embrace it
07:17Here's a pretty easy prediction New York City is in big trouble
07:20The good news for New Yorkers America is a big country
07:24If New York implodes you can always leave leave your politics back there only thing people ask
07:31In fact the Jewish FDNY commissioner has already resigned the bad news Democrats like Mamdani are picking up traction elsewhere in the country in elections around the country
07:44Because well, you know, it won't be Republican versus Democrat anymore
07:49But you know, it's going to be normal Americans versus the radical extreme communists who want to end the country as we know it
07:57Here now with more House Speaker Mike Johnson
07:59Speaker Johnson your reaction to last night first and foremost
08:02Sean, I think you hit the nail right on the head
08:06This is not a bellwether of things to come
08:09We can still stand for America's founding principles
08:11That's what the Republican Party is doing
08:14As you said, blue states and blue cities went blue
08:16That was no surprise to anyone
08:18But I do think it is alarming that Mamdani is now effectively the leader of the Democrat Party
08:24And it is affecting the strategy of the Democrats on Capitol Hill
08:28We have been saying since the beginning since the shutdown began
08:31Which is now the largest one in U.S. history
08:33Thirty-six days of this now
08:35That the reason for it was because you had Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries
08:40The two leaders in the Senate and the House
08:42The Democrats, the top Democrats in Washington
08:44Who are from New York
08:45And they're afraid of a challenge of a Mamdani-like challenger in their next election
08:49And that is why they shut the government down
08:51That's why the American people are feeling so much pain
08:53We're just appealing to common sense to try to get out of this
08:56Okay, the common belief was maybe after the election
09:00Democrats will come to their senses and take the position they have always taken
09:05Which is a clean CR
09:07And they will open up the government funded at current levels
09:10As you iron out differences on budgets, you know, etc.
09:15Is that going to happen or no indication of that?
09:19We don't know yet
09:20We're certainly hoping and praying that's the case
09:22I mean, what are they trying to achieve here?
09:24The clean CR was nonpartisan
09:26It has no big Republican priorities in it at all
09:29It's only 24 pages in length and it's a very simple measure
09:32What the problem is right now is they're motivated out of fear, Sean
09:36They actually do fear the backlash, the political retribution
09:41From the far left activists who now run the Democratic Party
09:44More than they fear
09:46Families going hungry, workers going without paychecks
09:48Planes being delayed, flights being canceled
09:50I mean, they just don't seem to care about the pain they're inflicting on the people
09:53And we're trying to get at least a handful of moderates and centrists
09:57Who are left in the Democrat Party and the Senate
09:59To do the right thing and break this impasse
10:01Between air traffic controllers, SNAP benefits, our military
10:06At what point is there a breaking point?
10:08And some people in that party wake up
10:11And understand this is damaging and hurting a lot of Americans
10:15All across the board
10:19Yeah, exactly
10:21They care more about their own political careers
10:23Than they care about the people that they claim to represent
10:25And that's why you're seeing these broad demographic shifts
10:28Into the Republican Party
10:29People are tired of this
10:30You know, the Democrats funded a study
10:32That just came out a couple weeks ago
10:33And their own study identified the Democrat Party
10:37Is said to be thought of as weak and woke and out of touch
10:41And they're proving that every day
10:43They just simply don't care about the people anymore
10:45That study, by the way, had hundreds of thousands of people
10:47That they spoke to
10:49It was not a small sample
10:51Speaker Johnson, thank you, we appreciate it
10:53Joining us now, Texas Senator Ted Cruz
10:55I'm dying for your take about last night
10:58Hello, comrade, how are you?
11:02Look, last night was a disaster
11:04It was an electoral blowout
11:06The results in New Jersey were disastrous
11:11The results in Virginia were terrible
11:13The results in New York
11:15Comrade Mondami is the face of the Democrat Party
11:18We have an actual communist jihadist
11:22And it's important to note
11:23Mondami is not a socialist
11:26He is a full-on communist
11:28He is called for seizing the means of production in our economy
11:32He is a Marxist
11:33That is profoundly dangerous
11:35And look, I know there are some Republicans who are saying
11:37Well, gosh, this will be good politically
11:39Because it will be the face of the Democrat Party
11:41I think it's terrible for America
11:43I think, you know, New York is the largest city in America
11:46It is the financial capital of the world
11:48It is the media capital of the world
11:50And New York, we are going to see New Yorkers die
11:53This is a lunatic who wants to abolish the police
11:56This is a jihadist who cheers on the radicals and the terrorists
12:02Who chants globalize the intifada
12:05This is someone who in the days before the election
12:08Is campaigning with an unindicted co-conspirator
12:12Of the world trade center bombing
12:14And this is about to be the mayor of New York
12:17By the way, Virginia
12:18Well, that guy was a character witness
12:19But let me ask you
12:20You say, you act like it was a blowout, blowout, blowout
12:22Did you expect any different results?
12:24Because I didn't
12:25I mean, I had a little hope in New Jersey
12:27But, you know, in the last three years
12:30The migration out of New Jersey
12:32Was a whopping nearly a quarter of a million people, Senator
12:35I would imagine probably the vast majority
12:38Of which would have voted for Jack Cittarelli
12:41That's a lot of people to lose in three years
12:44Going to your state and my state
12:47Look, and you're right
12:49And if you have all the people from New Jersey
12:51Who moved to Florida, moved to Texas
12:53If they were still there, Jack Cittarelli might have won
12:56By the way, all the New Yorkers
12:57Who moved out of New York
12:58And went to Florida and went to Texas
13:00Lee Zeldin might well have been governor
13:02Or we might have seen Mondami beaten
13:05But people are fleeing blue states
13:07So they're getting more radicals
13:08You're also seeing these states
13:10Having massive immigration
13:12You look at the numbers
13:13The native-born New Yorkers
13:15The New Yorkers who had been there five years or longer
13:17Voted against this lunatic
13:19It is a massive in-migration
13:22The Democrats are using demographics to change this country
13:26And look at Virginia
13:28Where the attorney general candidate
13:33In writing said, number one
13:35He wanted to see his Republican colleagues in the legislature murdered
13:39But even worse than that
13:41He wanted to see their children dead
13:43And to see them crying and holding their dead babies
13:46He knew those kids
13:48That deranged individual is now going to be the attorney general in Virginia
13:53The chief law enforcement officer
13:55And what that tells us is a couple things
13:57Number one, we're so polarized
14:00That on the Democrat side, they don't care
14:04No major Democrat denounced Jay Jones
14:06Despite his openly wishing for the murder of kids
14:09Even in the wake of Charlie Kirk's murder
14:12Every Democrat circled around and said
14:15He's our guy
14:16We don't care if he's advocating political violence
14:19But number two, look, last night should be a warning sign
14:22It should be a warning sign to Republicans across this country
14:25The left, they're energized, they're angry
14:28Democrats are outraising Republicans right now
14:32Three to one, four to one
14:34It is dangerous
14:36And I think on our side, they're Republicans
14:38And they're just people who are common sense in the middle
14:40Who I fear are feeling happy
14:43Are feeling potentially complacent
14:46That is really, really dangerous
14:48The left showed up in big numbers last night
14:50And common sense conservatives did not
14:53If that happens a year from now
14:55We face disaster in the midterms
14:57Okay, I'm not as
15:00I don't feel as dire as you do
15:02However, it is a cautionary tale always
15:04And I think that you need to examine
15:07You need reflection, introspection, course correction
15:10And, of course, the president laid the foundation for our economy to shift
15:15I believe that will happen sooner than later
15:17And when it does, there will be a big story to tell there
15:20On top of all the peace deals he put together
15:22I'm pretty confident with that
15:24Ted Cruz, thank you
15:26And up next, tonight, right here on Hannity
15:29I said if ever you want to talk to daddy
15:31You just look up to the sky and start talking to him
15:33He can hear you
15:35It's always me, Robert
15:39Erica Kirk sat down with our very own Jessie Waters for her very first interview since her husband's assassination
15:46We have highlights
15:47We will get reaction from some of her and Charlie's best friends
15:50Also, James Comey was back in court earlier today
15:53While Senator Lindsey Graham, he thinks he's got a smoking gun
15:57And it happened right here on this program
16:00We'll play that straight ahead
16:02All right, Charlie Kirk's wife, Erica, spoke with our very own Jessie Waters for her first sit-down interview since Charlie's assassination
16:14During the emotional interview, the two covered a number of topics
16:17Erica opened up about the hardest part of her day now
16:22And here's what she said
16:24What's the hardest part of your day?
16:27The night
16:28Nighttime
16:30Always
16:31I'll tell them about my day
16:35I talk to them all the time
16:36But the nights are the hardest
16:39Being in a bed by yourself
16:41Rolling over, trying to
16:45Goodnight
16:46Goodnight
16:47Kiss
16:48That's not there
16:49Um
16:50You know
16:52It's
16:53And anyone who's a widow knows what that means
16:56How painful that is
16:58Excuse me
17:03So easy to take the little things for granted
17:06Now she also addressed having to do the unthinkable
17:10To explain to their young children
17:12Why their father is not home
17:14Take a look
17:16You told your children that Charlie was going on a work trip with Jesus
17:20Are they still asking
17:22Where's Daddy?
17:23Yes, my daughter continues to ask
17:25I told her the other day
17:26Because she said, I just miss Daddy
17:28And where's Daddy?
17:29When is he coming home?
17:30And I said, baby, Daddy's still with Jesus
17:33And I said, they are so busy
17:37And I said, if ever you want to talk to Daddy
17:40You just look up to the sky and start talking to him
17:42He can hear you
17:43He can hear you
17:46He's always new
17:47Robert
17:50And I told her, I said
17:53You know, Daddy
17:56Daddy is in Heaven
17:58She goes, so does that mean he's in a different house?
18:01He's in a different house
18:03And I said, yes, baby
18:04He is building a house for us
18:06Some people would say a mansion
18:08She goes, do you think I could go sometime?
18:11Do you think I could go sometime?
18:20Excuse me
18:25Children are so precious
18:28I said, baby, we will all go one day
18:32We will all go one day
18:34Erica also discussed the horrifying video which circulated on social media showing her husband's assassination
18:43Here's what she said
18:45The video was everywhere
18:47How do you process that?
18:49I never saw the video
18:55I never will see it
18:57I never want to see it
18:59There's certain things you see in your life that you can never unsee
19:02There's certain things you see in your life that mark your soul forever
19:06I don't want my husband's
19:08Public assassination to be something I ever see
19:12I don't want my kids to ever see that
19:17And for the people who actually enjoy watching that, which is quite literally sick
19:26What if that was your father?
19:29Or your brother or your sister?
19:32There's a perspective shift there
19:35We're human
19:37Life is fragile
19:38And there is so much beauty in this world
19:45Why would you waste any portion of your life looking at something so evil?
19:54Now Jessie also asked if she still talks to Charlie
19:59Here's her answer
20:01Do you still talk to Charlie?
20:03I'll get home, it's late at night, and I'll be getting ready for bed in the bathroom
20:05I'll keep looking in the shower
20:09Trying to see
20:11He used to, he would always write on the shower
20:14When he was in there
20:16He would write numbers and things
20:18And at the end he would do his signature at the end
20:20Obviously it's been
20:23So long since he's taken a shower at home
20:26But I still look for it
20:28But I talk to him all the time, I'll say
20:32Baby, just give me your wisdom
20:35Speak to me
20:37People would say, if you can't sleep, take something to sleep
20:40The Lord has let me sleep just fine
20:42But I don't want to take anything
20:46That's not how we operate
20:48If I take anything, it'll numb me from being able to hear from the Lord
20:51And for Charlie
20:52I want to be able to talk to him
20:54I want to feel this so deeply
20:56So deeply
20:58So that I know how the Lord wants to use it
21:01And if I'm numb to that, he can't use me
21:04But I talk to him all the time
21:06All right, joining us now with Reaction, Turning Point USA
21:10Spokesperson Andrew Colvett is with us
21:12Chief of Staff at Turning Point USA
21:15Mikey McCoy
21:17By the way, Mikey, I've become really good friends with your dad
21:19He's a very good man
21:21And also joining us
21:23Outkick.com, host Riley Gaines
21:25Andrew, let me start with you
21:27The end of this show is not an accident
21:29I say the words, let not your heart be troubled
21:31If you read that verse in the Bible
21:35In my father's house are many mansions
21:38I go there to prepare a place for you
21:42So that where I am, ye shall also be
21:45I believe that with all my heart, mind, body and soul
21:49Erica and Charlie believe that with their heart, mind, body and soul
21:53But for those of us that lose a loved one
21:57And you are very close to Charlie
22:01It doesn't make it easier
22:03It was heartbreaking to see and to listen
22:06To her tell her story
22:09And we live in this assassination culture
22:12And it just breaks my heart
22:14For all of you to be very honest
22:16How is everybody doing?
22:18And what did you think of the interview?
22:20Yeah, thanks Sean for having me in that setup
22:24I mean, you know, I said at the memorial
22:26That we don't grieve as the world grieves
22:29But, you know, we are flesh and bone
22:31And we cry, we struggle
22:33There's moments that are impossible to describe
22:37You know, we're not even two months away from 9-10 when it happened
22:41And I mean, I've known Erica for a long time
22:45I saw them date, I saw them get married
22:48And I always have just loved and appreciated Erica for all so many things
22:54But watching the way that she's responded to this has been truly inspiring Sean
22:59She's always had my friendship and my love and appreciation
23:01But now she has my deep, deep respect of how she's carried herself
23:06The strength that she's shown
23:08And I was in that room, Sean, when she was doing the interview with Jessie
23:12And I just saw her, you know, muster so much courage to answer those questions
23:18I mean, Jessie asked tough questions and she went there
23:21And I watched as they rapped and she just, you know, it was almost a collapse
23:26Because it's just so much courage to go into those places
23:28But then I see her come back the next day and she's strong
23:31And she's leading this team
23:33And the strength and the growth that you're seeing at Turning Point
23:36Is a direct result of her being willing to take on the impossible
23:40To take on this challenge
23:42And I just couldn't, she couldn't have any more of my respect
23:44And just appreciation for what she's been able to do in this time
23:48And Mikey, it was your dad, Pastor Rob McCoy, that married Charlie and Erica
23:53I know this is a painful time for all that knew Charlie and all that care about Erica
24:01Your thoughts on the interview tonight?
24:04I just feel as though Erica Kirk is the best that humanity has to offer
24:09And you saw that on full display tonight
24:12Here's a widow, a woman who's lost her husband, her best friend, the father of her children
24:17And she sits through that interview, digging deep emotionally to share stories and memories of Charlie
24:25But at the same time, she's running this organization to honor Charlie's life and legacy
24:30And you have to ask yourself, why is she able to do that?
24:34She answered that in the interview when talking about C.S. Lewis' A Grief Observed
24:37She says, I can't quite understand why C.S. Lewis would be mad at God
24:43I'm not mad at God, she said
24:45She said, my God's sovereign, my God is good
24:48And because of that mindset, under Erica Kirk's leadership, Turning Point USA has reached new heights
24:56She talked about how it was Charlie's dream to be in stadiums for his college events
25:00But for events in general at Turning Point
25:02And she's made that dream come true
25:05We had Ole Miss last week with the Vice President of the United States
25:09And tonight we are at Auburn with over 6,000 young students in the audience
25:13Celebrating America and Charlie's life and legacy
25:16We saw it on full display tonight in this interview
25:19How powerful God's word is
25:22How powerful it is to rely on him in times of grief like this
25:26And I am beyond blown away by Erica
25:28That was one of the most emotional interviews I've ever seen in my entire life
25:32I feel exactly as you do
25:34And powerful, extraordinarily powerful
25:36As powerful as the moment
25:38She said, you know, that the person that did this to Charlie
25:42Was the type of person Charlie was trying to reach
25:45And that she forgives him
25:47Yes, I know that we're supposed to do that
25:51I'm not sure I can get there as she did, which I found inspirational
25:54You know, Riley, Mikey just mentioned an event going on right now at Auburn University
26:04And at that event is Laura Trump and Eric Trump
26:07I think we actually may have a live shot of it
26:09And we'll put it up if we do
26:11And you are part of a lot of these events as well
26:14And, you know, there's this experience that everybody that I've talked to that knows Charlie
26:22Been around Charlie, been to Turning Point events
26:25You know, everybody has those stories about how special and wonderful both of them were
26:30You know, the idea that you guys would go into a hostile environment, a college campus
26:35And say things like in your case, I don't think men should compete in women's sports
26:40And here's why I believe that
26:42Took an enormous amount of courage
26:44What Charlie and Erica did and everybody at Turning Point
26:47Takes an enormous amount of courage
26:49To talk about maybe you want to go to church
26:52Maybe you want to get out of hookup culture
26:54Maybe you want to find a good spouse
26:55Maybe you don't want to be the kid throwing up in the bushes and find purpose in your life
27:01What a positive message that everybody
27:04And look at the growth since then
27:07We have Laura speaking right now at this Turning Point event at Auburn
27:12That's right, Sean, what we have seen at Turning Point is like nothing we've ever seen before
27:18The amount of kids, both high school and college-age kids inquiring about how to get involved
27:22What they can do, how they can have their voices be heard
27:26How they can advance conservative causes
27:28But more importantly, advance the kingdom of Christ
27:32We've seen Bible sales, I mean, off the charts
27:35I think last month Bible sales were up 36%
27:37We've seen people, again, especially young people
27:40Which is exactly what Charlie really fought for
27:42Who he spoke to
27:44Young people going to church, opening the Bible
27:47Sometime for the first time in their life
27:48So even after Charlie's death
27:51Even after his life was prematurely and tragically and graphically
27:55Taken from this earth that ultimately left Erica
27:59A widow that left her children, both of their children, without their father
28:04His legacy lives on
28:07I just wrapped up, I'm actually sitting in a green room right now at University of Memphis
28:09I just wrapped up speaking to hundreds of students here
28:14And what I can tell you, Sean, is that students are amped up
28:18They are ready to carry on Charlie's legacy
28:20The legacy that Turning Point USA continues to foster, continues to develop and grow
28:25And that really shows no signs of slowing down
28:28Especially with Erica now carrying the mantle
28:31She embodied tonight strength
28:33She embodied the grace of God
28:36I will never forget sitting there at the memorial service and watching her
28:41I mean, what, this was like 11 days after her assassin, or Charlie's assassin
28:46Again, graphically ended his life, which it will live on the internet forever
28:51Erica, in that moment, the hardest moment of her life
28:54She chose to forgive her husband's assassin
28:57That can only be done
28:58I mean, only through God can a grieving widow have the heart, the serenity, and the strength
29:04To forgive this man
29:06And I learned something from it that day, Sean
29:08I want to really take a moment and thank all of you
29:12And all of the young people at Turning Point
29:15For your commitment to
29:17And your dedication to reaching young people
29:20With the message that they don't hear on college campuses
29:23It takes a lot of courage to do what all of you do
29:25And thank you for that
29:28And all our love and prayers and thoughts are with all of you
29:32And your safety as you do this courageous act every week
29:35And to Erica and, of course, Charlie and these beautiful children
29:39Our love, our prayers, our thoughts are with you all
29:42And Godspeed in your mission
29:44What you're doing is important
29:46Thank you all for being with me
29:48All right, coming up
29:50We have more evidence in the case against former FBI Director James Comey
29:52Who is accused of lying to Congress
29:55Lindsey Graham will join us next
29:57Also, Stephen Colbert says he's more conservative than you think
30:00Clay Travis reacts
30:02And tonight, a major case at the U.S. Supreme Court
30:08With major implications for President Trump and his use of tariffs
30:13Here with more, our Secretary of Commerce Howard Lucknick is with us
30:16You know, I love you, Howard, but you've got to be on
30:19I'm kidding
30:21You know, I can kid Howard because we've been friends a long time
30:24But in all seriousness, this case matters
30:27I believe for more than any other reason
30:30Not only economically, national security
30:33How do you think it went today?
30:35Oh, this is the Super Bowl
30:37This was the Super Bowl of trade, right?
30:40Trade and this was it
30:41The only thing missing was walk on and walk off music
30:44And a halftime show
30:46I mean, this was it
30:48And there were fireworks all the time
30:50But think of some of these questions
30:52Like, Justice Kavanaugh says
30:54Imagine a meeting in the Oval Office with the President
30:58Where, and this was his cross-examination of their lawyer
31:01And he says, you've said he could embargo
31:04He could cut off trade with any country
31:06And their lawyer said, I agree
31:07He goes, imagine telling the President in the Oval Office
31:11Sir, you can blow up trade with this country
31:13And he goes, that seems too much
31:15Can I put a tariff on him and do a little less?
31:18And they say, no, sir, you can't
31:20And, and Justice Kavanaugh says
31:22That seems like a very odd donut to me
31:24I mean, how could you let that happen?
31:26It just didn't make sense
31:28The justices were on the President's side
31:30You're hearing it here from me
31:32President Trump is going to win this case
31:35It has to for, for national security implications
31:39And his constitutional role as Commander-in-Chief
31:42I think it should be clear
31:44The President, more than any previous President
31:46Has used that effectively for the cause of peace
31:50And I know, Howard, because I know you
31:52And you were involved in a lot of negotiations
31:55And that was on the table as much as economic implications
31:58Sure, one of the questions was, look, the President is using this case
32:02And look, the President is using these tariffs
32:05This is by a justice, the President is using these tariffs
32:08To end the war in Russia and Ukraine, right?
32:10He's told India, stop buying oil
32:13If you take these powers away from the President
32:15He can't make the world and the United States of America a safer place
32:19I think the justices know it
32:21They know the law, they went over the words
32:24It was crystal clear if you sat through the second half of today
32:27And a lot of those articles today were written in the first half
32:29You listened to the second half today
32:32You left, like I did, very confident that the President of the United States, Donald Trump
32:36Is going to win this case because these powers protect America
32:40Well, first of all, you've been crushing it on these trade deals
32:44I'll tell everybody in this audience, don't ever get in a negotiation with Howard Lutnick
32:50Not a good place to be, number one
32:52Although, you're the billionaire, I'm going to have to buy you a Rolex
32:55And only you know what that means
32:58But we appreciate you more than anything
33:01Howard, good to see you, my friend
33:03And earlier today, disgraced former FBI Director James Comey
33:06Back in court, facing allegations of lying under oath to Congress
33:10Today's appearance came after a Bill Clinton-appointed judge ordered that the interim
33:14U.S. Attorney Lindsey Halligan produced all withheld materials from the grand jury proceedings
33:20As he weighs Comey's motion to have her disqualified
33:24Now, Comey has been accused of lying under oath during a 2020 Senate hearing
33:28Where James Comey was asked by Senator Lindsey Graham
33:31Will join us in a moment about a memo that he received concerning the investigation into Hillary's emails
33:39And the Russia collusion hoax
33:41Comey denied any knowledge
33:44Watch
33:46So, do you recall getting an inquiry from the CIA, excuse me, the intelligence community
33:51In September 2016, about a concern that the Clinton campaign was going to create a scandal regarding Trump and Russia?
34:02I do not
34:05You don't remember getting an investigatory lead from the intelligence community?
34:11September the 7th, 2016, the U.S. intelligence officials forwarded an investigative referral of FBI to FBI Director James Comey
34:22And Assistant Director of Counterintelligence Peter Strzok regarding U.S. presidential candidate Hillary Clinton's approval of a plan concerning U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump and Russian hackers
34:35Hampering U.S. elections as a means of distracting the public from her use of a private email server
34:43You don't remember getting that?
34:45Or being taught?
34:47It doesn't ring bells with me
34:49Okay, well that's a pretty stunning thing, it didn't ring a bell, but it did come to you
34:54That night, Lindsey came on this show, and both he and I said, we didn't believe him
35:00As the court proceedings continue, more evidence is coming to light, according to the FBI Director
35:06Kash Patel, the bureau is now probing classified Russia collusion hoax evidence found earlier this year
35:13Remember the burn bags, including this handwritten note from James Comey
35:17This dated September 26th, 2020, which appears to show knowledge of Hillary's plan to tie Trump to Russia during the 2016 election
35:27Here with more, South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham
35:31That night you said he was lying, right here on this show, if I had time I'd play it
35:35Yeah, I never believed that you would get, if you're the FBI director and you get an investigative memo from the CIA
35:45That Hillary Clinton is trying to tie her opponent, Donald Trump, to Russia, that that wouldn't ring a bell
35:51Now, what do we know now? We now found in a safe, in a very remote area in the FBI, James Comey's notes, three weeks later, dated September the 26th, 2016, in the note he says, James Brennan, JB, HRC, planned to tie Trump
36:11In his own handwriting, we now know that he was briefed that Hillary Rodden Clinton, Clinton planned to tie Trump, three weeks after the briefing, so we got it in his own handwriting
36:25Okay, that seems like a slam dunk case to me, Senator, you're the lawyer, not me
36:32Well, okay, you, you, I never believed the FBI director wouldn't, that wouldn't ring a bell
36:39That the Republican nominee is being accused by the Democratic nominee of being a Russian agent that is all made up
36:47I never believed that, now we have notes in his own handwriting where he references HRC's plot to tie Trump to Russia
36:58So, the bottom line is, this is real-time evidence, three weeks after the memo, in his own handwriting
37:07I hope somebody in the legal system will use this note and take it to the grand jury
37:12I think so, Senator, great job then, great job tonight, great job by the FBI and, you know, Pam Bondi and Dan Bongino and Lindsey Halligan
37:22Great job across the board, I would say this might be checkmate, at least to my brain
37:28I didn't believe him then either, I said the same thing
37:31Thank you, Senator, appreciate it
37:33And coming up, Stephen Colbert claiming he is actually more conservative than we think
37:38We've got the tape, Clay Travis reacts
37:40All right, time now for our other news of the day segment
37:49Cancel late night host Stephen Colbert insisted in a GQ interview that he's, quote, more conservative than people think
37:58Yes, the same Stephen Colbert that never stops attacking, unrelenting Republicans and Donald Trump
38:04That guy, take a look
38:07Do you think, you know, old, you know, people perceive me as this sort of lefty figure
38:13I think I'm more conservative than people think
38:15I just happen to be talking about a government in extremis
38:21Yeah
38:23And so, what I'm giving you is my reaction video to the day
38:26And my reaction video is like, you know, is like the screen
38:30I'm not sure what other reaction would be an honest one
38:34It's hard to have a balanced reaction to the idea of troops on the street of a city that actually is not undergoing an invasion
38:42All right, here with reaction, a host of OutKick, the show, and also with Clay and Buck, Clay Travis, National Syndicate
38:48Let me tell you why that's complete Adam Schiff
38:51Because Joe Biden was president before Donald Trump, and he was on the air
38:54And every single day, he could have played the Biden video of the day like we did right here on this show
39:00But he didn't want to go after the Democrat that couldn't form two sentences
39:05He didn't play those tapes very often, did he, Clay?
39:09No, of course he didn't, and by the way, an easy follow-up would be
39:12Okay, what conservative opinions do you have?
39:15Was shutting down the border a good thing or a bad thing?
39:19Do you believe that nations should have borders?
39:20Do you believe that states should?
39:23Are you in favor of less murders?
39:26That doesn't seem particularly conservative or liberal
39:29But when you immediately go to, oh, we've got troops in the street
39:32I know in my home state of Tennessee, Sean
39:3570% decline in violent crime
39:38Washington, D.C.
39:40Way safer, as you heard President Trump say in that 60-minute interview
39:44Stephen Colbert is a complete liar
39:45But an easy response would be, Stephen
39:48Come on your show and tell us your way more conservative beliefs than we would expect
39:52I'd love to hear them
39:54Yeah, all right, breaking, Clay
39:57Only moments ago, we told you a Turning Point USA event was happening at Auburn University
40:02Eric and Laura Trump have a message about President Trump's second term
40:05They made news, take a look
40:08We left the White House on January 21st of 2021
40:13And it was very sad
40:15It was a very dark time, it was a very depressing time
40:18And you guys in here probably all felt it as well
40:20But what we didn't realize then, that I think everyone in here can agree with
40:24Is that things don't always happen on our time
40:27They happen in God's time
40:28And the incredible things that this President, our 45th and our 47th President of the United States, Donald Trump
40:43Has been able to do this term in office
40:47Would not have been possible with two back-to-back consecutive terms
40:52We needed the four years
40:54He needed the four years
40:55America needed the four years
40:58Because we saw what you get with the other side
41:01And America said, absolutely not
41:04Hell no, America first, bring Donald Trump back
41:07And we got him, guys
41:09You know, I completely agree with that
41:12But they went through four years of absolute hell in the interim
41:16They did, but she's right
41:18That might be the biggest win Auburn's had this year, Sean
41:20I'm surprised I haven't lost some money betting on them with you
41:22But in all seriousness, Laura Trump makes a great case there
41:27Trump is more successful in 2.0 than he ever would have been if he had stayed in office until 2025
41:33And he is having, I think, the greatest first year of any president in our lives, Sean
41:39Every day I wake up with a smile on my face
41:41One year anniversary
41:43By the way, speaking of a smile, you'll like this cover
41:45Hey, how about this book, Sean?
41:47I need to sell some of these so I can pay back all my gambling debts to you
41:51Will people please go buy this thing?
41:53You know, it's about Trump's big win
41:55It is true, I've never once asked for the money
41:57Nor did I ever, you know, think it was a real bet
41:59It was for kicks and giggles on my side
42:01You know what, I'm going to see you tomorrow at the Patriot Awards, Sean
42:04I'm not taking your money
42:06I am going to the ATM tonight to pay my debts
42:07It's going to be the Stephen A. Vow kick
42:10And I'm not supposed to win those bets, but I win them every single time
42:14But for me it's about kicks and giggles, I don't really bet
42:18But I'm going to have you on my radio show about the book tomorrow
42:22Look forward to it, I'll see you in person also
42:25Please go buy it, I need it so I can pay Sean and all
42:27I will buy a copy, I will buy my own copy on the way to the Patriot Awards
42:32It's going to be fucking long
42:34Clay Travis, more Hannity straight out
42:37Ok я got you ready okay
42:41Okay, right
42:44Dude I'm starting my Rules
42:48I'll get you at the Superfig
