Zohran Mamdani and Andrew Cuomo Vote in the New York Mayoral Election

Hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers have already cast their ballots in the first days of early voting in the NYC mayoral election, as the three front-runners show no signs of letting up on their campaigns.

The Democratic nominee, Zohran Mamdani is the clear favorite to capture New York’s Mayor’s Office. The most recent poll, however, has shown his lead over Andrew Cuomo, the former Democratic governor of New York who is running as an independent, has shrunk to just seven points—the closest of the campaign so far.
