New Yorkers go to the polls on election day on Nov 4 to cast their ballots for the city's next mayor in a race mainly between Democratic nominee and socialist Zohran Mamdani and former governor Andrew Cuomo.

The gubernatorial races in Virginia and New Jersey are also expected to be rather tight with the Democratic candidates set to win as well.

01:14So we know how important it is to have representation of police in the street.
01:18I think it's consequential this year.
01:21And I think that it's going to determine the course of the city for the next few years.
01:27What's of particular importance were the propositions about building new housing in New York.
01:33And I think that they will allow for greater participation on the part of developers.
