00:09hawk. Sup. Basically, in the 40s or something, Hollywood was starting to make movies with sound

00:14and they wanted to show the majestic bald eagle on screen, but it needed to be accompanied by a

00:18fierce scream, signifying freedom and power. You know. But there was an issue. All right, let's hear

00:26this call then. Yeah, turns out the bald eagle's call is actually kind of lame. So they went out

00:34and found this guy, the red-tailed hawk, whose call sounds a lot cooler than the bald eagles.

00:39And they just dubbed over it, which is how we got this.
