00:13A post that gets likes or words of praise can make us feel seen, but that same world can just
00:19as quickly cancel us when we don't measure up. James reminds us that chasing the world's approval
00:26can actually separate us from God. We were made for a deeper relationship, one rooted in God's love,
00:33not society's applause. True humility isn't about thinking less of ourselves but about living with
00:39a posture that honors God and serves others. Reflection. Where am I seeking satisfaction
00:46or approval from the world rather than from God? Application. Choose one area where you might be
00:53tempted to compromise your values for worldly gain, whether in success, image, or relationship.
01:00Surrender that area to God and invite Him to realign your heart with His truth.
01:05Prayer. Heavenly Father, help me not to be swayed by the world's applause or approval.
01:11Teach me to walk in humility, valuing others above myself and living for your glory alone.
