00:00Welcome to the video from the Auto Magazine Tuning Blog.
00:03Today, we're talking about the new Acura Integra for the 2026 model year,
00:08which thankfully hasn't changed anything that was already good.
00:12Acura has only made subtle changes to its entry-level model,
00:16and in our opinion, it's done just right.
00:19The Integra continues to be a practical, efficient compact hatchback
00:23that stands out noticeably from the Honda Civic on which it's based.
00:26At the same time, it offers more driving fun and remains more affordable
00:31than many compact premium models with which it competes.
00:35For the 2026 model year, Acura's has left most of the features untouched,
00:40but has added a few modern details.
00:43The most noticeable update can be found in the interior.
00:47A new infotainment system with a 9-inch screen replaces the previous 7-inch display.
00:52Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are now standard,
00:58as well as an inductive smartphone charging pad.
01:01All of this was previously reserved for the more expensive
01:03Ashback variants with the technology package.
01:06It's not a huge success, but it's definitely a welcome step
01:09towards catching up with its new crossover sibling, the ADX.
01:13New blue suede inserts combined with the bright Orkita trim,
01:19as well as modified ambient lighting and new dashboard trim for Ashback models,
01:23provide a bit more visual freshness in the interior.
01:30On the outside, the Aspect versions get a larger front splitter,
01:34new side skirts and a new design for the 18-inch rims.
01:37In addition, Acura is expanding the color palette with three new paint finishes.
01:43Solar Silver Metallic, Urban Gray Metallic and Double Apex Blue Pearl.
01:48The radiator grille on red or blue aspect variants is now color-coordinated with the body.
01:54A black grille can be ordered as an option.
01:57White and gray models can also benefit from this new option if desired.
02:02Under the sheet metal, everything remains the same,
02:04which in this case is meant in an absolutely positive way.
02:08The familiar 1.5-liter turbocharged cylinder still delivers 203 horsepower and around 260 newm of torque.
02:17It is combined with a continuously variable transmission as standard,
02:20while the Iceback technology package also includes a 6-speed manual transmission,
02:25adaptive dampers and a limited slip differential.
02:28Anyone who is familiar with the manual transmission should definitely go for this.
02:32It is one of the best of its kind.
02:34Acura has not yet officially announced prices,
02:38but a price range similar to the previous model year is expected.
02:42The entry-level model was around €30,000,
02:45while the Acura technology version costs around €34,000.
02:51The Integra is built in Maryville, Ohio.
02:54This means that the vehicle is not subject to any import duties,
02:58even though some components may still come from abroad.
