The Minister of Homeland Security is also asking citizens to be aware of their surroundings during the upcoming Christmas season, and gave a couple of tips on how they can safeguard themselves while assuring that all is being done by police to ensure the population's safety.

00:00One thing I would like the population to first do is to operate like they have some level of concern.
00:11Because they operate sometimes like they don't, but yet they complain.
00:16You know, trying not to present yourself as an easy target.
00:20It makes no sense you put on your big gold chain and attract somebody who is looking for a dollar today.
00:26And all of these things while you're moving on about your lawful business.
00:29Stop exposing your money where you go.
00:32If you have the chance to use a card, use a card.
00:36I repent.
00:37I just want the population to understand that we are doing everything in our power at this time.
00:43With what we met there and how much things we can fix there in this short space of time that we are here, we will do it for the population.
