Der neue BYD Sealion 06 startet am 24. Juli in China – und zwar gleich in zwei Varianten: als vollelektrische Version (BEV) und als Plug-in-Hybrid (PHEV). Beide Modelle setzen auf BYDs modernste Plattformen: die e-Platform 3.0 Evo fĂŒr das Elektroauto und die 5. Generation der DM-Technologie fĂŒr den Hybrid.

Mit einer LĂ€nge von 4,8 m, einem Radstand von 2,8 m und bis zu 1.600 l Kofferraumvolumen bringt der Sealion 06 viel Platz fĂŒr Alltag und Reisen. Je nach Version leisten die Motoren zwischen 100 PS (Hybrid-Benziner) und 245 PS (Elektromotor), mit Reichweiten von bis zu 605 km im reinen Elektrobetrieb. Auch beim PHEV gibt es zwei Akku-Optionen mit 18 oder 27 kWh und elektrischen Reichweiten von 93 bzw. 130 km.

Besonders erwĂ€hnenswert ist das neue Fahrassistenzsystem DiPilot 100 („God’s Eye“ C), das bereits NOA-FunktionalitĂ€t fĂŒr Autobahnen unterstĂŒtzt. Innen ĂŒberzeugt der BYD mit einem T-förmigen Cockpit, großem Touchscreen, KĂŒhlschrank und kabellosem Laden.

Die Preise liegen voraussichtlich zwischen ca. 20.000 und 26.000 € – ein spannendes Gesamtpaket fĂŒr die Mittelklasse.

00:39A harmonious appearance for a vehicle that is completely in tune with the zeitgeist.
00:44The design also extends to the interior. The interior is characterized by a uniformly
00:50designed cockpit with a large, free-standing central screen, rectangular instrument cluster
00:55and a flat four-spoke steering wheel. In the center console, in addition to two cupholders,
01:01there is a rotary control for the temperature of the integrated refrigerator as well as pads for
01:05wireless charging. The refrigerator holds around four bottles. The cargo volume is also impressive.
01:13There is additional storage space of around 140L at the front. Around 800L are added at the rear.
01:20With the rear seats folded down, the cargo volume increases to over 1,600L.
01:27With a length of 4.8 meters, a width of 1.9 meters and a height of 1.7 meters,
01:33as well as a wheelbase of 2.8 meters, the Kian 6 is clearly positioned as a midsize SUV.
01:39The unladen weight is around 1.9 tons. Both drive variants are equipped with BYD's state-of-the-art
01:48technology. The plug-in hybrid is based on the fifth generation of DM technology and combines a
01:55one L five-point engine with an output of 100 horsepower and an electric motor with a maximum
02:00output of 218 horsepower. The battery has a capacity of around 18 or 27 kilowatt hours and enables purely
02:10electric ranges of around 93 or 130 kilometers. The purely electric version is offered in various
02:19configurations. Two single motor models deliver either 245 horsepower or 231 horsepower and are
02:29equipped with blade batteries with around 65 or 79 kilowatt hours, which enables ranges of 520 or 605
02:36kilometers. Those opting for the all-wheel drive version with two engines get a drive with 150
02:45horsepower at the front and 245 horsepower at the rear. Batteries with 65 or 79 kilowatt hours are also
02:54used here. The combined range is 520, 550 or 605 kilometers, depending on the version. A special
03:04feature is the so-called Dipilot 100 system. BYD's latest generation of assistance technology, which is
03:11currently primarily designed to provide support when driving on expressways. This system is offered as
03:18standard in all versions and is called GOTS IC. As usual, BYD is also competitive in terms of price.
03:28A range of around €20,000 to €26,000 was mentioned at the Shanghai Motor Show in 2025.
