00:03Today we're talking about the brand new Fang Cheng Beyo D7,
00:07a large plug-in hybrid SUV from BYYD that was recently unveiled in China.
00:12With its striking design, modern technology and impressive performance data,
00:16the E7 is aimed at discerning families who value style and versatility.
00:23The Fang Cheng Beyo brand was launched by BYD in 2023
00:27and is already well positioned with models such as the BAU-5, BAU-8 and TI-3.
00:35Now, the T7, also known as the Titanium-7, is another family model with five seats,
00:41which is positioned between the previous models in terms of size and equipment.
00:45The design is strongly reminiscent of the Land Rover Defender.
00:50Clear surfaces, robust contours, rectangular headlights,
00:53a high bonnet and a spare wheel well on the tailgate define the appearance.
00:59The look is complemented by a litter sensor mounted on the roof.
01:05Roof racks and 19 or 20-inch wheels, measuring around 5 meters long, 2 meters wide,
01:111.9 meters high and a wheelbase of 2.9 meters, the TI-7 offers generous space.
01:16Entry is via four doors, while the interior is designed for five people in a two-row configuration.
01:28The cockpit is dominated by a large, freestanding screen,
01:32which, together with a flattened four-spoke steering wheel and a striking orange interior,
01:37creates a modern impression.
01:38Under the hood is a newly developed DMS plug-in hybrid system.
01:45It combines a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with 156 horsepower with two electric motors.
01:52The front engine produces 218 horsepower, while the rear engine produces 272 horsepower.
01:58In the top configuration, this results in a system output of around 480 horsepower.
02:03Alternatively, a version with just one electric motor is available,
02:08which produces 200 kilowatts, or around 237 horsepower.
02:13The basic version uses a lithium-iron phosphate battery with a capacity of 26.6 kilowatt hours,
02:19which is sufficient for a purely electric range of around 100 to 105 kilometers.
02:24The top model gets a battery with 35.6 kilowatt hours and can therefore achieve up to 130 kilometers on electric power.
02:35Fuel consumption is between 6.3 and 6.4 L per 100 kilometers, depending on the variant.
02:42The weight of the vehicle varies between around 2.2 and 2.5 tons, depending on the battery.
02:47The price for the T7 in China will be around 38,000 euros.
02:56This positions the vehicle as an attractively priced offer in its segment,
