Der BYD Seal EV setzt neue Maßstäbe unter den Elektro-Limousinen! Mit seinem modernen Design, einer Reichweite von bis zu 650 Kilometern und einer Schnellladefunktion, die die Batterie in nur 20 Minuten von 30 auf 80 Prozent lädt, überzeugt das Modell auf ganzer Linie. In der Allradvariante sprintet der Seal EV in 3,8 Sekunden auf 100 Stundenkilometer, während die Hinterradversion mit 5,9 Sekunden etwas gemächlicher ist.

Kein Wunder, dass der BYD Seal EV kürzlich den Japan EV of the Year Award 2024 gewann und es unter die Top Ten Best Models 2024–2025 beim Japan Car of the Year schaffte. 00:00Welcome to the video from the Car Magazine Tuning Block about the BYD SEAL IV.
00:06On March 5th, BYD announced that the SEAL EV had won the 3rd edition of the Japan Annual EU Awards.
00:13This marks the 2nd consecutive year that BYD has won the title, following the success of the Dolphin IV last year.
00:20Close behind were the Honda NVNE and the Hyundai 5N.
00:23In addition to this award, the BYD SEAL EV was previously named among the Top 10 Best Models of the 2024-2025 Japan Car of the Year.
00:36This was an honor from the Japan Car of the Year Selection Committee.
00:40The SEAL IV has been available in Japan since 2024 and is offered with both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive.
00:46The award provider IV Smart particularly praised the vehicle's outstanding design and its comprehensive performance.
00:56In its statement, it stated that the model had received unanimous recognition in both the public vote and the expert jury.
01:04It not only demonstrates the impressive characteristics of an all-electric vehicle, but also sets new standards in terms of ride quality.
01:11The BAL is a 4-door sedan with a length of 4.8 meters, a width of 1.9 meters and a height of 1.5 meters, while the wheelbase is 2.9 meters.
01:27The design concept is based on the fluid form of marine life moving freely through the water.
01:34The model is equipped with an 83-kilowatt-hour BYD blade battery pack.
01:38The all-wheel drive version sprints from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 3.8 seconds, while the rear-wheel drive variants need 5.9 seconds.
01:50The entire model range is equipped with an advanced driver assistance system as standard.
01:56In terms of range, the BYD-CLEV offers 510, 600 or 650 kilometers, depending on the variant.
02:03Thanks to the fast charging function, the battery can be charged from 30 to 80% within 20 minutes.
02:13Inside, the CLEV features a 10.20-inch LCD instrument display, a 5.6-inch floating center screen, a WH, and a flat-bottom steering wheel.
02:24The operating system is based on BYD Stylinx 6.0.
02:27Looking to the future, BYD plans to launch its first plug-in hybrid model in Japan this year.
02:35In addition, new vehicles are to be launched on the market every year.
02:39Both all-electric models and plug-in hybrids.
