00:00Welcome to the new video from the Auto Magazine Tuning Blog.
00:03Today, we're all about an exciting new electric motorcycle from India, the Zeno Emara.
00:10Developed by former Tesla manager Mikkel Spencer,
00:13this vehicle promises to bring a small revolution to the field of affordable urban mobility.
00:20With his experience from scaling the Model 3 and Model Y at Tesla and building the supercharger network,
00:26Spencer is now bringing his expertise to the world of electric two-wheelers,
00:30and at a price that will make you sit up and take notice.
00:35The Zeno Emara is primarily aimed at commuters and users in emerging markets
00:39and is intended to be particularly accessible at a price of under 1,300 euros including the battery.
00:47Alternatively, you can also purchase the motorcycle for around 800 euros if you opt for a battery rental model.
00:53Monthly subscription rates are around 15 euros for around 48 kilometers per day
00:59or around 25 euros for up to 120 kilometers per day.
01:06Consumption-based billing is also possible, which offers the user maximum flexibility.
01:11The electric motor produces around 11 horsepower, which is impressive for a light motorcycle of this class.
01:19The top speed is around 95 kilometers per hour.
01:23This puts the Emara in the so-called H25 class in Europe.
01:28In other words, vehicles that can be driven from the age of 16 with a Class A1 driving license
01:33or with the B96 extension to a passenger car driving license.
01:38The installed battery has a capacity of 4 kilowatts-hours,
01:42which should be sufficient for a range of around 100 kilometers in real driving conditions.
01:48It can be charged either at a domestic power outlet within 6 hours
01:52or at a rapid charging station with a Type 6 connection in just one and a half hours.
01:56Those who opt for the battery rental model can also exchange the batteries at special Xeno stations.
02:04This saves valuable time in everyday life.
02:08Visually, the Emara has a pragmatic appearance,
02:12high ground clearance of around 19 centimeters,
02:14a long, continuous seat and an overall robust,
02:17functional design that is clearly geared towards everyday suitability.
02:22No frills, no gimmicks, just pure functionality.
02:26In keeping with the concept of an affordable commercial vehicle for city and country.
02:31The initial market launch is planned for India,
02:34one of the most important markets for electric two-wheelers worldwide.
02:39Expansion to Africa is also on the agenda,
02:42where electric mobility is also gaining in importance,
02:44especially in regions where cost-effective transport solutions are crucial.
02:50It is still unclear whether and when the Xenoara will also be available in Europe.
02:56What is clear, however,
02:58is that the combination of low acquisition costs,
03:01low operating costs and practical usability
03:03could also attract many interested parties here,
03:06especially in a growing market for lightweight electric two-wheelers.
