00:09A freshly revised model with a revised design and new drivetrain,
00:13which was presented to the public at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2025.
00:18The Niva Travel is like an invasive fellow in the urban landscape.
00:24Originally designed for off-road use,
00:26today it demonstrates its qualities just as effectively on asphalt.
00:32Its large wheels, developed for rough terrain, also master slippery roads with aplomb.
00:40The increased wheelbase not only helps to overcome potholes and deep ruts off-road,
00:45but also proves useful in city traffic, e.g. when calmly driving over speed bumps.
00:51Its high seating position allows for a better overview of the traffic,
00:55which is particularly advantageous in hectic city life.
01:00With its robust chassis, spontaneous route changes away from the main roads can be mastered with ease.
01:06And thanks to all-wheel drive, the Niva Travel remains a reliable companion even in winter conditions.
01:14Despite its powerful appearance, the Niva Travel is not aggressive.
01:18Its formulaic language is more reminiscent of a mischievous nature.
01:22Angular, but warm-hearted.
01:25Anyone who gets behind the wheel and drives it not only through the city but also on country roads will quickly notice.
01:31This car feels at home in any environment.
01:34With the 2025 version, later is now going a step further.
01:38The Niva Travel has been modernized as part of a facelift, but still remains true to its DNA.
01:45In terms of technology, the model will in future be equipped with a new 8-valve engine with a displacement of 1.8 L and an output of 90 horsepower.
01:57Compared to its predecessor, the torque has increased by 24 Nm, with 80% of the maximum power available at just 1,000 revolutions per minute.
02:05This makes the new engine more powerful and more efficient.
02:11Depending on the driving mode, consumption is reduced by 3-30%.
02:15In addition, the engine has been comprehensively revised with a new intake and exhaust system, a more efficient cooling system and over 50 newly developed components.
02:26Noise and vibration levels have also been significantly reduced, which increases ride comfort.
02:31To support the new engine, the power transmission has also been revised, which improves reliability.
02:40In terms of chassis tuning, a new anti-roll bar ensures greater driving stability and comfort.
02:47While ventilated brake discs and maintenance-free wheel bearings from the Niva Legend now ensure increased safety and durability.
02:55Visually, the new front end is particularly eye-catching.
02:58Full LED headlights, a redesigned radiator grille with optimized airflow and a striking bumper that is both sporty and functional.
03:10All of this is based on the design language of the Niva Electric Concept Vehicle, which was presented in 2024.
03:17Inside, later relies on better materials and possibly also a new instrument cluster.
03:21Supplemented by an extended range of standard equipment that should make everyday life easier.
03:28Despite all these innovations, the Niva Travel remains an affordable and versatile vehicle.
