00:00Welcome to the video from the Auto Magazine Tuning Blog.
00:06Today, we're all about the new Suzuki Evatara, which will mark Suzuki's entry into an electric future from 2025.
00:13This isn't just another compact sports utility vehicle, but a clear statement.
00:20At the heart of the Evatara is the so-called All-Grip E-System.
00:24A fully electric all-wheel drive with two separate electric motors, one on the front and one on the rear axle.
00:33This design allows for precise distribution of drive power to the front and rear wheels,
00:38ensuring optimum traction on both wet city streets and rough terrain.
00:45Suzuki has also integrated a special trail mode, which really comes into its own off-road.
00:50As soon as a wheel starts to spin, it is braked specifically and the drive power is redirected to the wheels with grip.
00:59This gives the Evatara real off-road capabilities, even though it is powered entirely by electricity.
01:07Propulsion is provided by either a 49-kilowatt-hour battery for front-wheel drive
01:11or a more powerful 61-kilowatt battery for the all-wheel drive version.
01:15The latter version delivers 135 kilowatts, which corresponds to around 181 horsepower with a torque of 300 newton-meters.
01:27This enables the electric Vitara to sprint from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in around 7.5 seconds.
01:35Clear proof that it is not only efficient but also dynamic.
01:38The range is up to 400 kilometers with front-wheel drive and around 390 kilometers with all-wheel drive.
01:48Thanks to the quick charging function with up to 150 kVA,
01:52the battery can be charged from 10 to 80 percent within around 45 minutes.
01:57Perfect for everyday use, weekend trips or spontaneous detours.
02:01The technical basis is the hard-act platform,
02:06which ensures safe and pleasant handling with a lightweight yet stable structure and a low center of gravity.
02:14With a ground clearance of 18 centimeters,
02:16the Evatara is also well-equipped for everyday use and on poorer roads.
02:22Production of the new electric vehicle will begin in early 2025.
02:26Sales are planned for the summer of the same year.
02:28The market will initially be in India, Europe and Japan
02:34with the aim of inspiring both new and long-standing Suzuki fans to take up the electric adventure.
