00:00Welcome to the video from the Car Magazine Tuning Block about the new 2025 Suzuki XB.
00:07The small all-wheel drive hybrid, measuring just 3.60 meters in length,
00:12is an exciting option for the Japanese market and surprises with clever off-road features.
00:17It is powered by a turbocharged three-cylinder engine called the 1.0 BoosterJet with 99 horsepower,
00:22which is coupled to a six-speed automatic transmission.
00:25Thanks to the lightweight hybrid drive, the fuel consumption remains within an acceptable range
00:31at 5.9 L per 100 kilometers. Even though there's no reduction gear,
00:39the XB could certainly impress off-road with its weight of less than 1,000 kilograms and the good
00:44tires. The 18 centimeters ground clearance also contributes to this. Additional support on
00:52difficult terrain is provided by a hill climb assist as well as the snow driving mode and the grip
00:57control traction control, which ensures better stability on slippery surfaces.
01:02The concept is reminiscent of the now-discontinued Fiat Panda 4x4.
01:07However, Suzuki is relying on its proven technologies for all-wheel drive vehicles.
01:14Inside, the XB offers four seats, a central display integrated into the dashboard,
01:19and classic analog instrumentation with two dials and a small digital display for the onboard computer.
01:27An interesting detail is the automatic gear selector, which is unusually placed.
01:33In terms of price, the 2025 Suzuki XB remains very attractive.
01:38The basic version with only one driven axle starts at around €3,700 in Japan.
01:43If you want all-wheel drive, you only pay around €4,600.
01:50A real bargain for such a vehicle.
