Der neue Peugeot E-5008 hebt die Welt der Elektro-SUVs auf ein neues Niveau: Mit Allradantrieb, sieben Sitzen und viel Raum fĂŒr die Familie bietet das Fahrzeug mehr als nur elektrische MobilitĂ€t. Dank der STLA-Medium-Plattform erhĂ€lt der E-5008 einen um 16,2 cm verlĂ€ngerten Radstand und punktet dadurch mit mehr Platz im Innenraum und höherem Fahrkomfort â ideal fĂŒr Alltag und Reisen.
Im Fokus stehen Varianten mit Frontantrieb (213 PS, 345 Nm) und die starke Allrad-Version mit 325 PS und 509 Nm Drehmoment. Letztere beschleunigt in nur 6 Sekunden von 0 auf 100 km/h und bringt durch den zusĂ€tzlichen Elektromotor an der Hinterachse deutlich mehr Dynamik und Traktion auf die StraĂe. Trotz seiner LĂ€nge von 4,8 m bleibt das Handling souverĂ€n, das Raumangebot ĂŒberzeugend: bis zu 1.800 Liter Ladevolumen sind möglich.

00:03Today, we're talking about the Peugeot E5008.
00:07The brand new everyday electric SUV from the French company,
00:11which not only surprises with its optional all-wheel drive,
00:14but also offers plenty of space, seven seats and a practical further development of the Peugeot E3008.
00:22Peugeot has taken the E3008 as its technical basis and taken it to a new level with a clever platform strategy.
00:30The E5008 also uses the scalable STR medium platform from the Stellantis Group,
00:36but with a wheelbase that has been extended by 60.2 centimeters,
00:40it offers considerably more space for family, luggage and adventure.
00:45Inside, the differences become clearly apparent from the second row of seats onwards.
00:49The rear bench can be moved lengthwise.
00:52Its backrests can be adjusted in angle and folded down in a 40 hours 20 minutes and 40 seconds ratio.
01:00A practical easy access mechanism makes it easy to access the third row of seats,
01:04which consists of two individual seats and can also be folded down by simply pulling the folding handle.
01:11With the third row up, the boot volume is just under 260 L.

01:53However, on longer journeys, the limited elbow room will probably be more of a problem for the young ones.
01:59The driver's work is designed in the same way as in the E3000.
02:02A high-quality mix of materials and a concave, high-resolution 21-inch display characterize the modern cockpit and ensure a convincing premium feel.
02:12The most popular version of the Peugeot E5008 is the front-wheel-drive version with an output of 213 horsepower.
02:22With a maximum torque of 345 Nm, the electric SUV accelerates quickly.
02:29It reaches the 100 km per hour mark in around 8.8 seconds.
02:33The electronic top speed limit is set at 170 km per hour, which is 10 km per hour more than the Mercedes EQB, which also has 7 seats.
02:46However, anyone who frequently drives at maximum speed must expect a noticeably reduced range.
02:53The extended wheelbase noticeably improves ride comfort on uneven roads.
02:57The Peugeot E5008 reacts more calmly to bumps than the E3008.
03:05At the same time, the handling is slightly slower, but this is hardly noticeable given the length of 4.8 meters.
03:12The road and wind noise remain pleasantly restrained up to around 130 km per hour on the motorway.
03:18Things get more exciting with the new all-wheel-drive version electric 325 dual motor, which turns the Peugeot E5008 into a real powerhouse.
03:31A second electric motor is used on the rear axle here, which contributes an additional 112 horsepower to the front engine, thus enabling a total system output of 325 horsepower.
03:41This transforms the SUV, which weighs over 2.3 tons, into a thoroughly dynamic vehicle with plenty of thrust.
03:50The amount of additional power provided by the second engine is particularly evident in sport mode.
03:56With a total of 509 Nm of torque, the E5008 sprints to 100 km per hour in around 6 seconds.
04:05An impressive figure for a 7-seater family SUV of this size.
04:08The improved traction and the resulting versatility make the E5008 the ideal choice for drivers with changing requirements,
04:18such as in city traffic, on the motorway or on excursions into the countryside.
04:25Peugeot is initially offering the dual-motor versions of the E5008 and also the smaller E3008 as an exclusive launch edition.
04:34These start at just over âŹ64,000.
04:36The price may seem high at first glance, but the standard equipment leaves little to be desired.
04:45In addition to the top-of-the-range GT equipment, it includes dual-zone paintwork, modern pixel LED headlights,
04:51an electrically-operated tailgate, electrically-adjustable and heated seats with Alcantara upholstery and massage function,
04:57and a large panoramic sunroof.
05:01There is also a generous warranty package.
05:04Peugeot provides an 8-year or 160,000 km warranty on the entire vehicle and the batteries.
