00:00Welcome to the video from the Auto Magazine Tuning Blog.
00:04Today, we're going to talk about the new X-Bong Mona M3 Max, which was officially unveiled on May 20th.
00:11This is the top version of the M03 electric sedan, which is now coming onto the market with state-of-the-art autonomous driving technology.
00:20The market launch of the M03 Max had been delayed because XP was still working on fine-tuning the autonomous systems.
00:26In keeping with the so-called 520 event, which sounds like, I love you, in Chinese, the presentation of the vehicle is symbolically aimed at loyal owners of the Mona series.
00:40The price for the Max variant is around 20,000 euros, which is around 4,000 euros more than the mid-range model in the series.
00:51X-Bang had already presented the series at the Shengu Motor Show in August 2024.
00:55At that time, the base model was introduced with a price of around 15,500 euros, while the Max was only announced at that time, with the caveat that it would not be available until after the Chinese New Year in 2025.
01:08The M03 Max stands out from the other variants in terms of technology.
01:12It uses XP's XNG driving system, which includes functions such as navigation-guided steering on motorways and in cities as well as AI-assisted parking.
01:27Unlike many other systems, the Max does not rely on LiDAR, but rather on a purely visual solution with seven high-resolution cameras and two powerful NVIDIA ORAN X chips.
01:37This is intended to enable a virtually level 3 autonomous driving experience.
01:44Internal tests have already shown a 95% success rate for automated parking as well as stable driving maneuvers in city traffic.
01:51The vehicle is powered by a 160-kilowatt motor with a torque of 250 newton-meters.
02:00The sprint from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour is achieved in 7.4 seconds.
02:06The energy is supplied by a lithium-ion phosphate battery with a capacity of 62.2 kilowatts-hours, which enables a range of up to 580 kilometers according to the CRTC standard.
02:17Thanks to the quick-charge function, the battery can be charged from 30% to 80% in 26 minutes.
02:26Visually, the Max Vion differs, among other things, in blue light elements that indicate the active autonomous mode and frameless exterior mirrors, which are said to provide aerodynamic advantages.
02:37Inside, XP has installed the new Tianji XOS infotainment system, which is said to score points with an improved user interface and optimized performance.
02:47The iMax version uses a torsion beam axle at the rear, which may mean a loss of ride comfort compared to more complex multi-linked systems in competing models such as the BYD Chin Plus.
03:00Nevertheless, the M03 Max is clearly positioned as the most technologically advanced version within the Mona series.
03:09Zhang plans to sell more than 200,000 vehicles of the Mona series in 2025.
03:14The basic version is already recording constant monthly sales figures of around 15,000 units.
03:22With the launch of the Max model, the company expects a sales boost of around 30%.
