00:00Welcome to the video from the Auto Magazine Tuning Blog about the 2T25 XP G6.
00:11As always, you can find the link to read the article in our magazine in the video description.
00:17Xpong Motors has now announced further details about the revised G6 SUV, which will be officially unveiled on February 28.
00:25The new XP6 comes with 81 improvements that affect the exterior design as well as the interior and technology.
00:35One of the most noticeable changes is the continuous LED light strip called Galaxy Lightwing, which replaces the previous two-part lighting design.
00:44This light strip extends across the entire front of the vehicle, while the Xbang logo has now been placed on the bonnet.
00:52There are also innovations on the side.
00:55The G6 now stands on black-painted paddle-shaped alloy wheels.
01:00A subtle ducktail spoiler has been added to the rear.
01:04The new design adjustments have increased the vehicle's length to 4.76 meters, while the other dimensions remain unchanged.
01:12A width of 1.90 meters, a height of 1.60 meters and a wheelbase of 2.89 meters.
01:20Inside, Xbang has revised the infotainment system.
01:25The screen is now larger than in the current model and both the instrument cluster and the central display are integrated into a floating design.
01:31The interior layout is reminiscent of the P7 Plus liftback with a central charging area for smartphones and additional storage compartments.
01:41In addition, the door handles are now electronic buttons instead of mechanical handles.
01:48Under the hood, the G6 retains a single-motor configuration.
01:51The electric motor produced at X-Pen's Wuhan plant continues to deliver a maximum power of 218 horsepower, which is the same as the previous version.
02:03Information on a dual-motor variant has not been announced.
02:06According to Hapang, the chairman and CEO of XP, this facelift is a comprehensive overhaul.
02:16In total, 34% of the first-level assemblies have been replaced and 81 functions have been improved.
02:23Since its market launch in June 2023, the G6 has played an important role for Xbang.
02:29The starting price was around 25,000 euros.
02:35Inclusion in the catalog of the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in December 2024 paved the way for the official launch of the facelift model.
02:44It is noticeable that the official documents no longer mention the LiDAR, which was previously available in the higher-end MAX variant of the G6 and in the G9.
02:58This suggests that Xbang may be doing without LiDAR in some models, similar to the P7 Plus.
03:06Surface D-King images also show blue lights that are activated when the Intelligent Driving Assistance system is switched on.
03:12An indication of advanced driver assistance functions.
