00:48According to Marco Coatu, the general manager of GM Peru, this new Colorado combines over 100 years of GM experience in pickup truck construction and was specially developed for people who love challenges and adventure.
01:02With a combination of strength, safety, connectivity and driving comfort, the Colorado is aimed at a wide range of needs and requirements.
01:11In Peru, the new Colorado is available in two top trim levels, Z71 and High Country.
01:18Both models offer the spacious crew cab with short bath and are equipped with 4x4 all-wheel drive, making them suitable for any terrain.
01:28The technical equipment and design have been significantly improved and the Colorado really shines in terms of performance with the optimized powertrain.
01:36The familiar 2.8-liter Duramax turbodiesel engine, a 4-cylinder from the XRD28 series, now produces an impressive 24hp and an impressive 510Nm of torque.
01:51This power is transferred to the road via a smooth 8-speed automatic transmission.
01:55Thanks to improved steering, revised suspension and damp chassis components, the new Colorado also offers a significantly more comfortable driving experience.
02:06Marketed in South America as the Chevy S10, the Colorado is produced at GM's San Jose Dos Campus plant in Brazil.
