00:43The S1000R, also known as the Single Air, now offers an impressive 170hp,
00:50which is an increase of 5hp compared to the previous model.
00:53This is supported by a shorter secondary gear ratio,
00:59which ensures better acceleration and makes the bike even more lively.
01:05An optimized shift assistant pro also ensures smoother gear changes,
01:09which, in combination with the new throttle grip, enables more direct and dynamic handling.
01:14This combination ensures even more enjoyment and control with every burst of throttle and acceleration.
01:23BMW has also done nothing by halves when it comes to design.
01:27The Single Air is available in three striking color schemes.
01:30As a base in Blackstorm Metallic, as a sports version in Blue Fire with a moogie yellow accent,
01:36and with the M package and Lightway White in the iconic M colors.
01:41Also new is the twin-bracket LED headlight, which makes the design appear sharper and more striking.
01:47BMW is also introducing engine drag torque control with configurable engine brake
01:52and an intelligent emergency call system, e-call, as standard for the S1000R.
01:58Practical details such as a short license plate holder and a USB-C charging socket under the seat round off the overall package.
02:05Those who prefer an even more powerful version will find the ultimate hyper-naked bike in the M1000R, or Mr. for short.
02:13This model features a twin-bracket LED headlight, which was also adopted from the sleds,
02:20as well as dynamic winglets in black textured paint.
02:26The design is specifically designed for a more aggressive and racing-oriented appearance
02:30and is enhanced by the new white aluminium metallic matte color scheme and, in the M-Competition trim, Blackstorm Metallic.
02:38The winglets provide additional downforce and increased stability at high speeds.
02:45Both models, the S1000R and the M1000R, comply with the strict Euro 5 Plus standard
02:53and are equipped with the innovative M short throttle grip.
02:57This means that the turning angle is shortened to 58 degrees, which guarantees direct and fast response.
03:03This is particularly evident when riding sportily on track days and ensures a noticeable improvement in acceleration.
03:12The Dynamic Traction Control DTC has also been adopted from the proven systems on the racetrack
03:18and thus provides even greater safety and control.
