00:00Welcome to our latest video from the Auto Magazine Tuning Blog, where we introduce you to the impressive 2024 VW ID.3 GTX.
00:14This model is the most powerful of all ID.3 variants and comes with numerous exciting innovations.
00:19The VW ID.3 GTX has been available to order since mid-August 2024 and impresses with 286 hp and a torque of 55,545 Nm.
00:31With these performance figures, the GTI brother effortlessly accelerates to 100 km per hour and sets new standards in its class.
00:38The price for the VW ID.3 GTX is âŹ50,795, while the more powerful GTX performance is available from âŹ52,290.
00:49As of September 2024, originally presented as the ID.X. concept vehicle in May 2021, the GTX label has since evolved and is now an integral part of the ID.3 series.
01:03In comparison, the previous top model Pro S offers a maximum of 1,754 hp, while the new ID.3 GTX is equipped with a brand-new i-engine that delivers 210 kW, 80 hp.
01:16For those who want even more power, the GTX performance is available with 240 kW, 326 hp, outperforming all other models in the ID.3 family except for the ID.7 GTX.
01:29The ID.3 GTX sprints from 0 to 100 km per hour in an impressive 5.9 seconds, while the GTX performance reduces this value to 5.7 seconds.
01:42This impressive acceleration makes the ID.3 GTX a real eye-catcher on the streets.
01:47The new battery with a net capacity of 79 kWh, which is also used in the ID.7, enables a maximum range of 604 km for the standard model and 601 km for the performance variant according to WLTP.
02:02Thanks to a charging capacity of up to 185 kW, the battery can be recharged quickly, making longer journeys possible without any problems.
02:12The top speed of the VW ID.3 GTX has also been increased.
02:18While the standard model is limited to 180 km per hour, the GTX performance can even reach up to 200 km per hour before the electronic limitation takes effect.
02:28The chassis of the ID.3 GTX is equipped with specially tuned progressive steering as standard.
02:37The GTX performance variant goes one step further and features a revised adaptive sports suspension DC.
02:45The newly parameterized driving dynamics manager uses more sensor signals to control the dampers more precisely and thus enable an even more dynamic driving experience.
02:54Visually, the VW ID.3 GTX sets clear accents.
03:00A modified bumper with black diamond-shaped air intakes, new daytime running lights and other high-gloss black design elements such as redesigned side skirts and a diffuser at the rear clearly set the compact sports car apart from the standard model.
03:12The 20-inch alloy wheels in SCAREN design come in two-tone as standard.
03:20However, it is possible to choose the rims in completely black.
03:23With dimensions of 4,265mm long, 189mm wide, 2,007mm with exterior mirrors and 10mm f64mm high, the ID.3 GTX offers a sporty and at the same time compact appearance.
03:38Inside, the VW ID.3 GTX impresses with numerous design elements that are reminiscent of the GTX Vion.
03:44Red decorative stitching, red applications on the multifunction steering wheel and GTX lettering lend the interior a sporty atmosphere.
03:54The sports seats made of fabric and imitation leather offer a high level of comfort, while electrically adjustable or go-active seats and dark microfleece are available for an additional charge, providing additional comfort and support.
04:05The redesigned cockpit, which debuts for the first time in the ID.3 GTX, is equipped with a 12.9-inch touchscreen that enables more intuitive menu navigation.
04:17The gears are selected via a steering column stock, similar to the ID.7.
04:23Thanks to the integration of ChatGPT, the EA Voice Assistant can also answer questions that have nothing to do with the vehicle, which further increases user-friendliness.
04:32The trunk offers a volume of 385-1267L, depending on the folded-down rear seat backrest, and therefore sufficient space for luggage and other items.
04:45Safety and assistance systems are also not neglected in the VW ID.3 GTX.
04:50Standard features include Cruise Control, Emergency Braking Assistant with Pedestrian and Cyclist Detection, Lane Keeping Assistant, Cornering Braking Function and Traffic Sign Recognition.
05:03In addition, the Local Hazard Warning KX is integrated, which warns of local hazards on the road.
05:09The assistance systems can optionally be expanded to include Travel Assist, which uses swarm data and enables assisted longitudinal and lateral guidance across the entire speed range, as well as assisted lane changing on the motorway.
05:23Other optional features include the Exit Warning and Park Assist Plus, which for the first time in the GTX offers a remote function, making parking even easier.
05:35The VW ID.3 GTX 2024 combines impressive performance, state-of-the-art technology and an attractive design in a compact electric vehicle.
05:45Whether on the motorway or in the city, the ID.3 GTX offers a dynamic driving experience and maximum comfort.
