00:00But most of all, just send a message to the American people, look, we don't have to live like this.

00:04We do not have to allow our cities to be taken over by violence and by disorder and by chaos.

00:10You can actually do stuff. You can actually bring law and order to communities.

00:16You've just got to have the political willpower to do it.

00:18They're afraid, and what they think that they need to do is to clean up crime and to stand for democracy,

00:25is bringing in tanks and troops.

00:27And the voices that you hear out there, those crazy communists, they have no roots.

00:33They have no connections to the city. They have no families they are raising in this city.

00:36They have no one that they are sending to school in this city. They have no jobs in this city.

00:40They have no connections to this community at all.

00:43But they're the ones who've been advocating for the 1%, the criminals, the killers, the rapists, the drug dealers.

00:50I feel like we are on the knife's edge of a moment in history.

00:54We have the playbook. We have the fascist, tyrannical, wannabe playbook.

00:59But we have the opportunity right now, because we have the playbook, because we see what's going on,

01:03because we know what they're trying to do.

01:05We as the American public have a moment to stop this.

01:09And I'm glad they're here today, because me, Pete, and the vice president are all going to leave here.

01:13And inspired by them, we're going to add thousands more resources to this city

01:18to get the criminals and the gang members out of here.

01:21But if the president of the United States thinks that he has to extend this order

01:23to ensure that people have access to public safety, then that's exactly what he'll do.
