00:00Every one of you, you are, you're complicit in the attempted assassination of Donald Trump twice.
00:09You bear, just be quiet, you are responsible for this because you are echoing the horrifically
00:22horrible, political, violent rhetoric that's being produced by the Democrat Party.
00:33Every single one of you here, you're at fault.
00:38You don't even know who the shooter is.
00:39Hey, you know what, knock it off.
00:41Knock it off.
00:43Do you believe Republicans have problematic rhetoric?
00:45You are responsible for that assassination yesterday, and you should be ashamed of yourself.
00:51It's disgusting.
00:52We need to be very clear about the facts of the ground.
00:56There was a horrific political assassination or shooting yesterday in which a young man died.
01:03Whether it is a member of Congress, whether it is the Presidents of the United States,
01:08to assume and assert and cast blame when the FBI has failed to even apprehend the assailant
01:16is absolutely an irresponsible action.
01:20We must come together.
01:21Our responsibility is to de-escalate this environment, to reduce the level of chaos.
01:28No one knows who the shooter was, but it looks to me like this was a professional deal.
01:33As someone who's a gun owner, 200 yards away, that's a long way away.
01:39And if he was able to climb a roof without being noticed and leave without being noticed with 5,000 people there,
01:45the odds are that it was probably a professional deal, but hopefully our law enforcement will catch the person.
01:57How do you tone down the rhetoric?
01:57I don't know.
01:58You know, both parties are guilty of it, and hopefully, you know, you have incidents like what happened yesterday.
02:06You take today is a very solemn day with September 11th and what happened with Charlie Kirk yesterday.
02:11So hopefully, you know, we'll do better in Congress, and hopefully the media, you guys will do better,
02:16and hopefully these events will become fewer and fewer, not greater and greater.
02:23With the murder of the two couples in Minnesota, with the baseball game, with the killing of Charlie Kirk, with January 6th,
02:31I mean, the list goes on and on and on.
02:33I don't feel nearly as safe as I did 10 years ago, and again, I think we have a responsibility.
02:37Look, I can't fix the lone gunman lunatic who is out there who's going to do something terrible,
02:41but I can encourage leaders who have this kind of platform to show some character, to show some leadership, and to take the temperature down.
02:48I don't care if you're Republican or Democrat, any elected official across the country, if you are vocal, your life is at risk.
02:56And I have to deal with children who think they're going to be murdered at school.
02:59I have to deal with employees right now who are afraid to come to work.
03:02I will not be doing any outdoor events anytime soon.
03:05We will not be doing any public events anytime soon until we have a better handle on greater security controls.
03:12I have local police right now sitting outside my offices in South Carolina to be a deterrence.
03:18We're going to have to have real threat assessments done, and I just feel like something really bad is going to happen
03:27before we get something really done up here, I'm afraid.
03:30It's really a sad state of affairs because it drives good people away.
03:35And it's just going to be the extreme wealthy and the criminals up here for long if we're not careful.
