00:00Luxury cars are expensive, no matter which one you want.
00:03But how are tariffs impacting the market?
00:05The answer depends on which brand you ask.
00:10We haven't seen any significant change in terms of our sales and orders.
00:14The head of communications for Rolls-Royce tells Straight Arrow News
00:18tariffs have had limited impact on their business.
00:21He also says the UK-based company has taken steps to mitigate the impacts on their customers.
00:26Our attack to this has been to be very measured, not to create volatility for our clients and our dealers.
00:32That's the most important thing.
00:34Part of their confidence is the trade deal between the US and the UK.
00:38We have very strong visibility on what the tariff will be for imports from the UK.
00:46So for us, that's important.
00:50We don't see any reason to see any variation on that at the moment.
00:55Meanwhile, the CEO of Lamborghini told CNBC the tariffs are causing even some of their wealthiest buyers to pause purchases.
01:03Part of this hesitation is the volatility of Trump's tariffs.
01:07Some are waiting because they want to be sure that this is the final number that it's going to be in place,
01:13Stefan Winkleman said to the outlet.
01:15Part of the president's push on tariffs was to bring more manufacturing to America.
01:19But Winkleman says that will never happen with a brand like Lamborghini because being made in Italy is core to the brand.
01:27While Rolls-Royce and Lamborghini may view the tariffs differently, they know that their clients think similarly.
01:33Our clients are largely business people and a lot of them are doing international business.
01:39So we do see some clients that are preoccupied with their businesses, but it's not having a substantial impact on our business.
