00:00Today on Media Miss Minute, President Trump sparks outrage after appearing to downplay
00:05domestic violence. And the LAPD drops its protection detail for former Vice President Kamala Harris.
00:14Hi, I'm Craig DeGrelli. Welcome to Media Miss Minute, where we spotlight two stories
00:19partisan media has buried, or ignored. First, a story the right is largely skipping over.
00:25At an event on Monday at Washington's Museum of the Bible, President Trump touted his
00:31administration's takeover of Washington, D.C. policing, and seemed to suggest domestic
00:36violence should not count as a crime. They said crime's down 87 percent. I said,
00:41no, no, no, it's more than 87 percent. Virtually nothing. And much lesser things, things that
00:50take place in the home they call crime. You know, they'll do anything they can to find something.
00:54If a man has a little fight with the wife, they say this was a crime, see?
00:58Critics were quick to point out that homicide by an abusive partner is the leading cause of death
01:04among pregnant and postpartum women in the U.S. Now to a story the left is not covering much.
01:10Former Vice President Kamala Harris just lost her Los Angeles Police Department protection detail
01:16just days after President Trump rescinded Secret Service coverage for her. The LAPD says it's pulling
01:23back after its union warned that guarding a former vice president is a federal responsibility
01:28and a poor use of local tax dollars. The California Highway Patrol will step in to provide some
01:34protection for Harris. For more stories missed or minimized by partisan media, download the
