00:00What have we learned about 22-year-old Tyler James Robinson,
00:04the man now accused of killing conservative activist Charlie Kirk at an event on Wednesday?
00:12Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. We got him.
00:15According to public records and various news outlets,
00:18Robinson is a Utah native who grew up with his parents and two brothers.
00:23He attended high school in Utah before attending Utah State University for a semester.
00:28He's currently a student at Dixie Technical College in Utah.
00:33Voter records show he had no declared political affiliation.
00:37His parents were registered Republicans.
00:39Authorities said a family member told them Robinson recently became more political.
00:45The family member referenced a recent incident in which Robinson came to dinner prior to September 10th.
00:51And in the conversation with another family member, Robinson mentioned Charlie Kirk was coming to UVU.
00:58They talked about why they didn't like him and the viewpoints that he had.
01:02Authorities did not release a motive, but they cited evidence of engravings on bullet casings.

01:21Despite some claims, Robinson is not a member of the Democratic Socialists of America or the Democratic Party.
01:51Official charges are expected to be filed next week.
