00:00Fans were ready to sing their hearts out with the queen of country this December, but Vegas will have to wait a little longer as Dolly Parton is postponing her shows for health reasons.
00:13The 79-year-old legend had six shows on the books, but announced on Instagram she's dealing with some health challenges and needs a few procedures before she can get back on stage.
00:24She wrote, I am not going to be able to rehearse and put together the show that I want you to see and the show that you deserve to see.
00:32You pay good money to see me perform and I want to be at my best for you.
00:37Then joked, it's not the usual trip to see her plastic surgeon.
00:41Her Vegas residency is now pushed back nine months, moving from December to September of next year.
00:47And while many fans are disappointed, her comments are filled with love and support, even from celebrities like Katy Perry and Hoda Kotb.
00:56Parton hasn't shared details about her current health concerns, but earlier this month she pulled out of a Dollywood event, telling fans in a video that a kidney stone had turned into an infection.
01:08And earlier this year, she suffered another personal loss, the death of her husband of 59 years.
01:14Her social media post says all tickets will be honored for the new dates, but refunds are available for anyone who wants one.
01:22So fans have a little extra time to practice hitting those high notes before September.
