00:00CNN's Scott Jennings is accusing former MSNBC anchor Keith Olbermann of threatening violence against him in a social media post and is now alerting the FBI.
00:12Jennings shared a screenshot of a since-deleted thread in which Olbermann says,
00:17You're next, followed by an expletive. It came in response to Jennings' initial post on X as he shared his take on Jimmy Kimmel's reinstatement following his suspension over comments made about conservative activist Charlie Kirk in the wake of his assassination.
00:33In another post to Jennings, Olbermann says,
00:36Now we get the fascists off real TV. Olbermann adds,
00:40That'd mean your career is next, Jennings.
00:42Jennings, along with others, including town hall's Dustin Grage, who screenshotted Olbermann's comments before they were deleted, say they saw the remarks as a threat.
00:53The CNN contributor then shared Grage's screenshot and tagged FBI Director Cash Patel in the post.
00:59As of the publishing of this report, Olbermann has yet to issue a statement on the situation.
