00:03Drew, you got the first turnover of the season.

00:06I got the play right here, man.

00:07Can you kind of break it down for us?

00:09What was going through your mind before the play?

00:12Tell us about the play and then obviously after, after you secured it.

00:16Here you go.

00:16Yeah, so this was right after half, so we knew we had to come out fast.

00:20So we're in a man, kind of from film study, from a split and whatnot.

00:24You knew that kind of the inside breaker was coming.

00:27We've been practicing all week, so I kind of just stayed true

00:29to my leverage and slipped it low, turned my head, and ball was right there.

00:33Shout out to Abdul, but like ball was right there,

00:36so I just had to dive out and make the play.

00:38So you, I'm not saying you pretty much knew the play was coming,

00:41but this was all part of you guys' preparation for the week,

00:44so the X's and O's got you ready to make a play in that certain situation.

00:49Yeah, yeah, for sure.

00:50We've been practicing this and from film study the entire week,

00:52so it kind of just came full circle.

00:54All right, talk to us about the play, man.

00:56You guys obviously kind of went toe-to-toe with one of the best offenses

01:01in the NFL at this point in time.

01:04Defensively, how do you guys feel coming out of the meeting room

01:07when you guys broke down the film?

01:10Yeah, I feel that we left a lot on the bone leaving that game.

01:13There was a lot of stuff that we saw that were promising,

01:16but there was still a lot of stuff that like just one more step

01:20or one little thing that could have made so much of a difference.

01:22So it's one of the things where we're going right back to the drawing board,

01:25still working, and just trying to get over this hump.

01:27So now that you guys identified, it's that one step, that little minor detail.

01:31Now it's one thing to recognize it through film, to go out there and practice it.

01:36How do you guys either execute it on a primetime Sunday night game like that

01:40or not do something per se?

01:43Yeah, you know, especially if we treat something like it's another game,

01:47but it's another opportunity to put this thing all together.

01:49I mean, we've been working since fall, spring, so in each game,

01:53we are learning so much about each other.

01:55So it's just step by step each week.

01:56So I'm excited to see where Sunday comes out to.

01:58You got new guys like Paulson Adibo and Javon Holland going into their third game

02:03in this Giants defense.

02:05Would you say that you guys on the back end are kind of all caught up

02:08communication-wise at this point?

02:11Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

02:11So like we're getting to that point now where like we're saying it,

02:15we're communicating a lot better,

02:16and we're getting real comfortable with each other.

02:18So you're going up against future Hall of Famer Patrick Mahomes.

02:22There's Travis Kelsey there.

02:23I mean, what kind of things do the Chiefs offense do

02:26that you guys kind of be on your A game for Sunday night?

02:30Yeah, you go against those type of two caliber guys especially.

02:34It's really keen to like the details that we go throughout the week.

02:37Be disciplined.

02:38Mahomes, he does a lot, and he is a really good player.

02:41So it's one of the things where you just got to be sound

02:42and just do what you're supposed to do.

02:44When you're an 0-2 team going up against an 0-2 team like the Chiefs,

02:48do you guys do anything different when it comes to your preparation?

02:52No, our preparation is going to be the same every week.

02:55That's one of the things.

02:55You stay consistent on it, it'll show up.

02:57But just stay consistent in what we do on a weekend and week out basis.

03:01Lastly, who gets the next turnover, man?

03:03I don't know.

03:04I would say all ten other guys.

03:06Like I really want some of my guys to get it.

03:08Yeah, that's a petition patient trophy answer.

03:10You guys got a couple pass breakups.

03:13A couple guys got their hands on the football.

03:15I'm going to speak it out.

03:16I think Vaughn, he got his hand on a lot last week.

03:18So I think it's going to come now.
