00:00Our New York Post betting analyst Eric Richter wants to put some money in your pockets for the Giants-Cowboys game.
00:06He's on the line with the bets and the props that he loves for this week two matchup.
00:10Eric, at this point, the Cowboys can call the Giants a little bro.
00:14Dak Prescott hasn't been beaten by this team, by the Giants, since his rookie year.
00:20I think I had a hairline back then.
00:22Put some smiles on these people's faces other than them laughing at my hairline.
00:27And what's some bets and some props in this game that you like?
00:31Oh, man.
00:32I mean, you already got the smile on my face, so we're off to a good start.
00:35Appreciate it, man.
00:36Giants look like a disaster.
00:38And BL, feel free to chime in here whenever you want.
00:41But there's no way that I'm betting the Giants if I don't know Andrew Thomas is playing.
00:45I mean, that's just cold, cold stop.
00:47They need Andrew Thomas at left tackle.
00:50And the defense for the Cowboys isn't profile as a juggernaut.
00:54And the commander's defense actually looks pretty solid.
00:57So, you know, 21 points against, like, they couldn't score a touchdown.
01:01You know, losing 21 to 6, not that bad.
01:03For me, I look at this like, Russell Wilson, the vibes are bad.
01:07Again, like, Russell Wilson played really bad.
01:10And even Dable didn't commit to him fully after the game.
01:14I'm looking for Cowboys minus 4 here.
01:17You know, if the Giants were at home, like, that would be, what, 1.5?
01:21Because you expect 2.5 to 3 points on a home versus away spread.
01:26So, no way I'm backing the Giants here.
01:30Take the Cowboys minus 4.
01:32Going over to running back, Tyrone Tracy, completely ineffective in Week 1.
01:35Maybe the commander's run defense is that good.
01:37But Tyrone Tracy, very quietly, is an inefficient runner.
01:41And he's mostly surviving on his volume.
01:45So, for me, I think he's more effective as a receiver.
01:48He's over 12.5 receiving yards.
01:50This is a number that he's crossed in five of his last six games,
01:52dating back to last year.
01:54And, you know, he had five targets last week.
01:57I understand the Giants were down.
01:58But Russell Wilson, kind of a dump-off merchant.
02:00And, again, Tyrone Tracy, 2.1 yards per carry last week, 2.4 or something like that.
02:05Really inefficient.
02:06And they also have Cam Scadaboo, Devin Singletary.
02:09I don't think this is Tyrone Tracy's backfield in totality.
02:12And, again, quietly ineffective.
02:14I suspect that he will be more of a passing down back as the season wears on.
02:19And maybe Scadaboo and Devin Singletary start siphoning away some rushing totals.
02:23Not what you want to hear from fantasy owners.
02:25I'm not one personally, but definitely not what you want to hear.
02:28But under, Tyrone Tracy carries 14.5, minus 140 at FanDuel.
02:33And over 12.5 receiving yards, minus 114 also at FanDuel.
02:37Would you say that that week one performance against the commanders is kind of scaring bettors off
02:42when it comes to betting on the Giants?
02:44Oh, 100%.
02:45Yeah.
02:46I talked to the DraftKings head of trading over there.
02:50He was saying, like, that no one wants to even touch them.
02:54They said that we did a whole piece basically on New York sports.
02:57Because, no, the bettors weren't touching the Mets when they were in their FIFA, which they still are.
03:02And then the Yankees' interest was dwindling as well in terms of, like, just the amount of bets,
03:06the bet count on their app.
03:08So it was dwindling for them.
03:10And then the same thing for the Giants and the Jets coming into the season.
03:13Whereas, like, we were putting together a whole thing.
03:15I was like, is this the lowest that New York sports has ever been?
03:17Now, I don't know if that's actually the case.
03:19Now, the Yankees have actually picked it up here.
03:20And the Jets are actually pretty good, too.
03:22But, yeah, it was definitely very strange in the offseason seeing the small amount of bets.
03:29And we talked about Abdul Carter, Defensive Rookie of the Year.
03:32That one was the only popular one that the Giants were getting.
03:35Everything else was under their win total and not make the playoffs and all that good stuff.
03:40He's got to play more than 38 snaps for him to win that D-Roy.
03:43But we'll see.
03:44They're going down to the big D to hopefully pick up a dub.
03:47Eric, thanks for hopping on with us, my man.
03:52I appreciate you, brother.
