00:00I see Spirit Halloween has been clowning around again when it comes to their collectibles, and I guess the joke's on me.
00:05Here's your spooky spot in the Spirit Halloween Killer Clowns from Outer Space VHS Collector's Case.
00:10Alien bozos with an appetite for close encounters.
00:32Those who have probably watched my recent reviews of the VHS Collector's Case would probably recall this humbled reviewer a bozo himself for spending the money that I have.
00:40$18.99 is the price that this will set you back.
00:43In fact, this isn't the first nor likely the last VHS Collector's Case that I have picked up.
00:48In fact, this year, I got myself an entire stack of these.
00:51Let's just bring these around right now.
00:53The ones that I thought were the 2025 alumni only were Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, The Exorcist, and Frankenstein, all dated 2025 on the backs of their cases, all individually reviewed by the humbled reviewer behind the camera.
01:06Then I went to a Spirit Halloween that I'd never been to before.
01:09This one actually was a pitched-up tent.
01:11First time ever I'd been to a Spirit Halloween that actually was a tent.
01:14And while looking through pretty much all the same selection of things that I assumed that they would have, I went through, of course, the impulse items as I was making my way around the turnstile, getting to the checkout stand, looking, though, to leave altogether.
01:26And I noticed that the VHS Collector's Cases, they had killer clowns from outer space.
01:30Well, I mean, again, twist my rubber arm.
01:33This sucker spent then another $18.
01:35Not even a coupon code this time either.
01:37Got a coupon code.
01:38Would have been fine because at least I could have saved some of the money.
01:41But I paid the full price to get the killer clowns from outer space.
01:44Stupid, stupid me.
01:45As for the actual case itself, you can see it does look like an old vintage VHS case that you'd see from a Strip Plaza video store.
01:52On the back it says,
02:22Candy Floss.
02:24Oh, I see the Spirited Candle laughed at that.
02:26Of the things that are actually inside, like everything else, you get yourself a patch.
02:30You get yourself two buttons, two decals, one lanyard.
02:34Did I already say that this was $18.99?
02:37Just again.
02:38Driving home the fact that, yeah, these probably aren't worth the price that they are.
02:40If it really was just a case that they were sold in boxes and they just said, like, assorted collectibles and they would show exactly what would be on the boxes,
02:48stupid me still would probably have bought these.
02:50But I feel at least, though, that I'm getting something I could put on the shelf.
02:53Even again, if it's not an old VHS clamshell case, it looks the part.
02:58It does the thing it needs to do.
03:00And that's, for me, at least why $18.99 is not too high.
03:04I know, again, it's still stupid of a price.
03:06It's not as high that it could have been had it been, like, again, just the way it's packaged.
03:10Now, one thing that's good, at least about the packaging, is this reversible package art.
03:14So if you don't like six items, one great price, you can flip this around, twist it inside out, and you can have a different display.
03:21Now, though, actually, Elvira, I think even the exercise was fine, but the Frankenstein.
03:26I did not like the look of the Frankenstein reversible insert sheet.
03:30Let's actually see if I like the Killer Clowns or I might just end up keeping it the way that it is.
03:34Like with all the others, though, you get yourself a box VHS tape inside.
03:38Now, this is the thing that's going to hold all the extra accessories, all the collectibles that will open up in a second.
03:44I'll just block the front face here of the spooky candle.
03:48And let's just flip around the insert and see exactly what it looks like.
03:51So, again, like on the top, we've got Spirit Halloween Home Video down below SHV, which is Spirit Halloween Video.
03:58And we'll just pull out the insert and see exactly what it looks like on the other side around.
04:03So, this is the cleaner side.
04:07This is the other side.
04:08So, what's the difference between the two?
04:10Can you spot the differences?
04:12So, the title seems to be the same.
04:14Spirit Collector's box is completely gone.
04:16So is six items.
04:17That's gone completely, too.
04:19It doesn't look all that much different.
04:21The only thing...
04:21Oh, it's Rent Me.
04:22Rent Me is also missing as well.
04:24The only thing that I think I missed, though, by flipping this around, is I do like that there's more of a wear part.
04:30Like, you can see, like, it looks more like an age VHS tape.
04:33Whereas, like, on this side, it looks like it's brand new.
04:36Let's flip this around.
04:38And we'll just slide it back into the case.
04:41I don't know.
04:42Will I flip it back around when I put it back on my shelf?
04:44Maybe I will.
04:45That's right now where all the other VHS collector's cases I've picked up over the years have been.

04:54Don't anybody please do the math on that.
04:56You'll realize this guy has spent an unnecessary amount of money getting what really is, in the end, very mediocre collectibles.
05:03Maybe, I don't know.
05:04Maybe the Killer Clowns might be a little bit different.
05:06But that's what the case looks like when we flip it around.
05:08Looks pretty good.
05:10Looks good also from the side as well.
05:12The only thing, again, telltale signs.
05:13It has Spirit Halloween and it has HV down below on the bottom.
05:17That's it.
05:18So, let's open up the box here and see exactly what we've got.
05:21I mean, the box looks exactly the same from all the others.
05:23So, like, here's Frankenstein.
05:24We'll just open up Frankenstein here for a second.
05:26Again, Frankensteins and Killer Clowns look identical to one another.
05:30The only thing, obviously, it's different, too, is that it shows that it's black and white for Frankenstein.
05:34One hour and 11 minutes, which nobody fact-checked me on that.
05:38I think that's right.
05:39This one actually does not give me a time.
05:41It just says Killer Clowns from Outer Space Collector's Box and it says 2025 Orion.
05:46Nobody knew the running time for Killer Clowns from Outer Space.
05:49They could have not put it on it.
05:52So, that's a bit of a disappointment.
05:54Anyways, the disappointment, I'm sure, will continue.
05:56We'll open up the top of the flap here and we want to dump all the contents, as I've already now started doing it.
06:03And we'll just put the box right over here.
06:06I'm going to try and make it somewhat presentable.
06:08So, for the things that we got, we got a patch, first of all.
06:11Do I have to go step-by-step showing you guys how to iron on a patch?
06:14Okay.
06:15Pre-heat iron for five minutes on high setting.
06:18Pre-iron your garment where you plan to place the patch.
06:21Then place the patch.
06:22Place lightweight pressed cloth over the patch and press firmly with a back-and-forth motion.
06:28As you see, I'm doing it right now for about 40 to 45 seconds.
06:31Turn the piece inside out.
06:34And then with a back-and-forth motion with the iron, back side of the patch for another 45 seconds while pressing firmly.
06:41The iron woman, though, from Halloween Kills probably would have a better job.
06:44I feel like she'd be the expert when it comes to ironing anything.
06:47Yet, I don't know.
06:48Again, did they iron out any backstory of her in the actual movie?
06:51She just sort of was there one moment, and then she was gone in another.
06:55The patch, though, let's just open up the bottom of this.
06:59I've got to say, like, the patch looks pretty cool.
07:02If you're a fan of Killer Clowns from Outer Space, I certainly know there's a lot of fans out there, would probably dig to put this on their denim jacket.
07:08It's all raised, as you can see.
07:10It looks like it's got a good quality to it.
07:13Killer Clowns from Outer Space.
07:14And, of course, this would be then the more adhesive side.
07:16It's not adhesive now, but once you, of course, a few passes, 40 to 45 seconds, this would adhere it then to your denim jacket.
07:22I always keep saying denim jacket.
07:23When I look at a patch like this, my instant thought.
07:26Denim jacket.
07:27Yeah, that would be good on a denim jacket.
07:29So we've got a patch.
07:30What else do we have?
07:31We have a couple of buttons.
07:32The buttons will be freed quickly.
07:36If I can actually find the blast, it's flat there.
07:38There we go.
07:40And we'll dump out the pins.
07:42Now, one is, though, the ice cream truck.
07:44And then the other one is the house.
07:46Or the, I guess, is that the spaceship?
07:48The haunted house spaceship?
07:49No, no, the spaceship was like the tent, wasn't it?
07:52So we've got sort of more of a house.
07:54A house and an ice cream truck.
07:57Honestly, truth be told, between the two of us, well, the other five that are watching this right now,
08:01it's been actually a while since I've watched Killer Clans from Outer Space.
08:04So, you know, again, if you just recently watched the movie,
08:06I'm probably sure, though, you can tell me where this is pulled from.
08:09But cool little pins, nonetheless.
08:11I mean, they all work the same way that normal pins would be.
08:13You just push them in, pops that out, slide it onto your denim jacket,
08:19and make sure you close the pin.
08:20If you don't close the pin, everybody goes up to you and says,
08:22Hey, Gary, pats you on the chest.
08:24It'll poke you right in the skin.
08:26Nobody wants that.
08:27Gary doesn't want to bleed, especially on Halloween.
08:29Pretty cool-looking pins, though.
08:31We'll put those off to the side.
08:32Then we also got a couple of stickers.
08:35I gotta say, though, I'm liking to look at the stickers.
08:38The stickers, we get, again, two of them.
08:41One is, though, the Killer Clans from Outer Space cotton candy gun.
08:44I don't want to say recently, but we did hear on this channel

09:14But yeah, the popcorn gun looks pretty cool.

09:19I don't want to say sticking on a denim jacket, but you would want to certainly stick it on something

09:28Gotta say though, you know, I mean, we know the reality of this, that the $18.99 is a high
09:35asking price, but I gotta say so far, I'm feeling this one.
09:39I'm actually enjoying the collectibles we're getting inside.
09:41And then the last thing that we have also inside would be a lanyard.
09:46The lanyard would have a section.
09:48Of course, if you have an ID card, I work with several clowns at my job.
09:52I would think that this would be an ideal.
09:54I don't think they're killers.
09:55They're just idiots.
09:56Idiot clowns.
09:58I think that they would be ideally good for carrying around these, you know, put their
10:01ID card in there.

10:05Gary just worries all the time about being poked in the chest while wearing his denim
10:09jacket and his pins.
10:10That's pretty cool though.
10:12On the back though, we've got the Big Top Flying Saucer, Flying Saucer.
10:16And then the image seems to be the same on both sides.
10:19So there's nothing really changed there.
10:20I do like though, that we've got the rubbery flying saucer, little space, I was going to
10:25say they're little, they're a mother ship that of course lands on the planet.
10:29And then from that, we've also got the lanyard cord.
10:32Now one side looks like it's space.
10:36Looks like something from Superpowers.
10:38Was it Superpowers where the stars would go?
10:41Maybe not.
10:42That's a horrible representation of that.
10:44Do you remember that?
10:45Where the stars would kind of fly towards the screen?
10:47I think it was Superpowers, wasn't it?
10:48Challenges of the Superfriends?
10:50Maybe it was Challenges of the Superfriends.
10:51And then on the other side though, we've got a Market Killer Clowns.
10:55So what looks to be, I don't know, those are cherries, they're stars.
10:59Oh, that's probably the top of the cotton candy, like the cotton candy pods.
11:03And then we've got Killer Clowns from outer space all across that.
11:07That's pretty cool.
11:08Whether you want to give this to the clowns that you work at, at work or not, or you just
11:11use this for yourself.
11:12I think that's a pretty neat looking lanyard.
11:15So again, like what we got this time around is the same, pretty much the same norm as what
11:19we get with all of these collector's cases.
11:21Get a lanyard with card.
11:22And again, it's got the little back additional piece, which some have actually said you could
11:26use for a keychain.
11:27I don't think you can, I guess maybe you could probably take this off.
11:31It doesn't look like it's really intended to come off, but I guess if you force this
11:34off, it could turn into a keychain.
11:36Keychains like this never stay long on my keys.
11:38They always seem to get ripped or like this little link right here, it's open wide enough.
11:43I always end up finding it in my pocket.
11:46Now lanyard though, a couple of cool looking stickers or decals, if you prefer the professional
11:50term, a couple of stickers for that.
11:52A couple of pins, make sure you close the pin so you don't poke yourself.
11:56Gary, I'm worrying about you.
11:57That was pretty cool.
11:58And we also got ourselves a patch.
12:00Not a bad looking patch at all.
12:03What's the price?
12:04You know the price.
12:04I mean, me just saying the price, again, just only embarrasses me more.
12:09$18.99, they're a little on the higher side.
12:12But again, I think for this, it's not just the collectibles that you have to look at when
12:15you start to tally up whether it's worth the price or not.
12:19You have to also consider too the presentation of this.
12:22You get yourself a video box and then inside, well, that sits inside the collector's case.
12:27And the collector's case for me is the thing that really does market these the most.
12:30I mean, if it wasn't again for the way that they presented it, let's just say they were
12:33just sitting inside of a box that just said miss or a blind bag.
12:37There's no way, though, I would pay $18.99 for a blind bag, even if it had cool collectibles
12:41like this.
12:42But the fact, though, it's being marketed in a VHS collector's case is all the more
12:46reason why I pick this one up.
12:47It's all still the same reason why I picked up what now for these for 2025.
