00:03Oklahoma is a favorite by about four and a half points.

00:07Like, Ole Miss last week suffered a loss there against Georgia.
00:09Great football game, but everything is still in front of them.
00:11But also, Coach, talk to me about Lane Kiffin,
00:14who there's a couple big-time coaching situations out there
00:16that need to be resolved with a lot of money.
00:18Talk to me, how do you coach a football team in big moments
00:21and understand that you've got to still live in the moment,
00:23but, boy, there are some big options on the horizon
00:25for both Ole Miss and also their head football coach.
00:28And, you know, I think this will have a bit of a factor with Lane Kiffin.
00:31You know, Kurt Signetti, in a matter of a couple days,
00:35he said, I'm taking a new contract.
00:37I'm signing on the dotted line.
00:38This is where I end up.
00:40Kiffin didn't do that.
00:40He said, let's wait and see, which makes me think
00:44he's probably letting things enter his mind and thinking about it.
00:47That's going to be a negative for him.
00:49But the big thing is the way Oklahoma's playing.
00:51They've got the number one defense in the country.
00:53They've got the number one sack team in the country.
00:55And their head coach, Brent Venables, is the one leading that defense.
01:00And if their quarterback, John Mateer, plays as a healthy quarterback,
01:03the way he played to begin the season, Oklahoma's going to win this game
01:07and they're going to cover.
01:08And I think when they do, they will be back in the hunt
01:11for that conference championship game and then the college football playoffs.
01:17Coach, I just want to look at Ole Miss' defense
01:20because we talked about it a little bit weaker in run support.
01:23What could they do to potentially steal this win defensively
01:28in containing Mateer?
01:31Well, I think anytime, it's really when you want to beat the quarterback,
01:35you've got to stop the run.
01:36Because what happens when you allow them to run the football,
01:38the quarterback's throwing on third and three to six.
01:41He's throwing on second down and short.
01:43He's given great opportunities.
01:44So what you've got to do is completely destroy the running game,
01:48make him throw in passing situations.
01:50I don't know that Ole Miss plays that kind of defense.
01:54Coach, I've got to ask you one quick question before we get out of here.
