00:00Let me bring our Missouri Ole Miss game into the fold.
00:04A tricky one here today.
00:06A number that is moving towards Mizzou.
00:10I'm seeing right now, and let me try and get a couple of numbers for this game.
00:14I'm seeing fours start to appear.
00:18Four and a half, still five and a half out there.
00:21But I got a number working a little bit towards the Tigers.
00:24I know this one's going to hit your card here.
00:26What do you like?
00:29I'm looking at Ole Miss.
00:30It's been a great ride for Missouri, and we talked about it a little while ago with Kentucky.
00:33Missouri knocked off Florida.
00:35They knocked off A&M.
00:36They lost late to Mississippi State in the Camario game.
00:39This is the fourth straight big-time SSE opponent, and at some point, Missouri is not going to play a
00:46perfect game like they did against Florida, like they did against A&M.
00:49Those games were at home.
00:50Now they hit the road to Oxford.
00:52Ole Miss has not played at home since beating LSU last month.
00:56They've been on the road or had a bye.
00:58The Rebels rebounded from Florida loss by blowing out Vandy last week, throwing up 52 in Nashville.
01:04You know, it's Vandy, but they still scored 52.
01:07Kiwan Lacy came in.
01:09He was able to get a couple of carries off the bye, seven carries and a touchdown.
01:12I think he's rested.
01:14The Ole Miss offense is rested.
01:16You got Trinidad Chambliss chopping at the bit.
01:18No one Simmons is on the other side.
01:20Keep in mind, Missouri's defense is 114th in the country in explosiveness allowed.
01:26This is what Ole Miss does.
01:27They're an explosive team.
01:29They even did that against Florida in the loss.
01:31Rebels, just like LSU, can't afford a loss here.
01:35Now, neither can Missouri.
01:37But if you told me before the season I was going to be able to get Ole Miss minus five
01:41versus Missouri, I would like it then.
01:43And I even like it now more that Missouri has a few good wins on their belt.
01:48Remember, they lost the only SEC road game they played.
01:51They lost that one at Mississippi State.
01:53This is an Oxford.
01:54I think they, Ole Miss takes care of business today, and I think they win by double digits.
02:00I think it's absolutely on the cards.
02:02I would lean, I think, Ole Miss's direction with you.
02:07I am so excited to see what we get from these quarterbacks.
02:11Missouri early season, the run defense has looked very good.
02:15Ole Miss is at their best throwing the football.
02:17But that might also have to do with Kawan Lacy missing time.
02:23And Lacy is back.
02:25He played against Vanderbilt.
02:26He also only carried the ball seven times because it was his first game back.
02:30And also, I mean, I don't know.
02:32You could argue it was seven carries too many.
02:33They beat Vanderbilt so bad.
02:35Why bother?
02:39Why bother?
02:42Trinidad-Chambliss, though, is very interesting how this stuff works because they play, you know,
02:48the marquee Sunday game against Louisville, and he throws for, you know, he ends up with four total touchdowns
02:55and almost 400 yards of offense.
02:57Then you get the incredible LSU game where, again, it's just like, oh, he's a Heisman Trophy favorite.
03:02It's all him.
03:03It's all him.
03:04And even in the Florida game, like, I remember, you know, myself and Dave and our crew will talk throughout
03:10the slate.
03:11And even though Florida, like, felt in control, Dave's like, we can't stop this kid.
03:16Like, he's just, it just keeps, you know, it just keeps coming.
03:20And I think that's what's going to be really fascinating here for Mizzou is you mentioned the game that they
03:25lost.
03:26It was this, you know, kind of track meet shootout with Miss Date.
03:29And they, at the end of it, could not just keep up in the way that was required of them.
03:37I'm so excited to see how these quarterbacks look because, and just to, you know, draft-wise, there's hype around
03:45both guys.
03:46The Chambliss hype is maybe pulled back a little bit.
03:49The Simmons stuff is on the rise here.
03:51You know, which quarterback do you trust more?
03:53And I'm sure that's part of, you know, backing Ole Miss because for most people, the answer is Trinidad.
03:58It is.
03:59And even in that loss to Florida, as you mentioned, Trinidad was amazing in the second half.
04:03And Ole Miss might win that game if Ole Miss threw any defense whatsoever against Florida in the second half
04:09because they weren't stopping Trinidad.
04:10I think this is just a spot.
04:12You mentioned Lacey.
04:13I mentioned Lacey.
04:15They're easing him back in.
04:16I think that was smart to only give him seven carries.
04:19They've crushed Vandy in a walkover game.
04:21I think at some point the wheels are going to fall off for Missouri.
04:24Is it this week?
04:25I think this is a tough matchup for them.
