00:00You look at Trinidad Chambliss and this offense, they're averaging 37 points per game.
00:05Defense only giving up 20 points per game.
00:07When you look at Chambliss, dynamic numbers, 18 touchdowns, three interceptions, over 3,000 yards.
00:13And he took over for a former five-star in Austin Simmons that struggled really in the game against Arkansas.
00:20It was from that point that Chambliss took over the reins, and this team has never missed a beat.
00:25When you look at the offense, very balanced in terms of rushing and throwing the football.
00:31And they play very good third-down defense.
00:34When you look at the preparation aspect without Lane Kiffin, I know Golding is a veteran defensive coordinator who is part of Nick Saban's staff.
00:43Charlie Weiss as well, coming from the long NFL tree, especially with his father.
00:49But will the Ole Miss team as a whole, motivation, preparation, game plan-wise, miss out on not having Lane Kiffin in the locker room?
00:59I mean, that could be true.
01:01I just don't think it is.
01:02When it comes to an actual game day on the field, advantage or disadvantage, when you've got your offensive play caller and all your staff still there, and your defensive play caller, he's out still there.
01:13I think that the kids can overlook the fact that the head coach is not there.
01:17He doesn't have a lot of game day duties that he has to have.
01:20He might make a critical timeout call or a critical fourth-down call.
01:24But this is mostly turned over to those offensive coaches.
01:27So I do think the Ole Miss team will respond very well.
01:30I just think right now Tulane's kind of stepped up in talent level they are now.
01:35I see a game much more like the one that we had early in the season against Ole Miss.
01:39We talked about Ole Miss' dominance and being balanced.
01:42Kiwan Lacy, one of the SEC's most dynamic rushing running backs in the conference.
01:48This team is averaging 188 rushing yards per game.
01:52Lacy averaging well over five yards per carry.
01:55And, Coach, when you look at the defensive side of the ball, we talked early on about this front seven.
02:01They're good.
02:01They're not elite.
02:02Certainly not as dominant as they were last year where they held opposing offenses to only 82 rushing yards per game, led by Walter Nolan.
02:11This front seven's given up 150 yards on the ground per game.
02:16Is that potentially where Tulane might have a little bit of a strength in this matchup in a rematch type of situation?
02:25Yeah, I mean, they would have to go out there and do a good job running the football.
02:28You've got a little less defense against the run.
02:31But I think when you look at the overall talent level of Ole Miss and their ability to put points on the board,
02:37because you're not just talking about rushing from extra yards.
02:40You're talking about having to outscore Ole Miss.
02:42I just don't think that can happen.
02:44It could happen, but I don't think it will happen.
02:47I would think Ole Miss, and they're going to be at home.
02:49I think you've got to remember these games that are being played right now, these home fields are a huge advantage.
02:54In the playoffs, when you're playing at home, and I don't think Ole Miss Stadium is anything like Texas A&M or Oklahoma,
03:01but it's still that atmosphere of them playing at home.
03:04I think it's a – I have everybody playing at home to win the games this Saturday.
03:08Yeah, we'll see how it plays out.
03:11Now, we saw all the home teams last year win and dominate and cover.
03:15The closest margin of victory was Notre Dame by 14 points, but that was two garbage touchdowns by Indiana.
03:22I will say when you look at Tulane as a whole, they're averaging 29 points per game,
03:26giving up 22 points to opposing offenses, but I still believe in this offensive rushing attack.
03:33They're averaging 170 rushing yards per game, averaging 4.6 yards per carry.
03:38I do like the fact that Jake Retzloff is a mobile, experienced quarterback.
03:43I don't know if they win it, Coach, but I do like the 17-and-a-half.
03:46In a rematch situation with some are all on the sidelines,
03:50I do give the green wave the slight coaching advantage.
03:54I'm going to take the points, and I think we'd potentially go under again the total.
03:59Last matchup, it was 45-10.
04:01How do you see it playing out?
04:04Well, I see a very similar type of score.
04:06It might be a little bit tighter than that,
04:08but I still think Ole Miss is still the same Ole Miss that played against Tulane last night,
04:14earlier in this season.
04:15And so I just like the way they play overall, and they're so productive.
04:18If a quarterback just makes plays, you've got a dual-threat quarterback at Ole Miss
04:22who can run and throw equally well, and it puts so much pressure on the defense.
04:27And I think Tulane, when it comes down to it, I don't think Retzloff does run the ball well.
04:31I like the way he runs, but he's more of a methodical runner.
04:34He's not as dynamic as Chambliss is.
04:39And so, again, they could, they could, but I do feel like that Ole Miss is going to be the team.
04:43I'm sticking with them.
04:44I think they'll cover.
04:45I think it's going to be the team that's going to be the team that's going to be the team that's going to be the team that's going to be the team that's going to be the team that's going to be the team that's going to be the team that's going to be the team that's going to be the team that's going to be the team that's going to be the team that's going to be the team that's going to be the team that's going to be the team that's going to be the team that's going to be the team that's going to be the team that's going to be the team that's going to be the team that's going to be the team that's going to be the team that's going to be the team that's going to be the team that's going to be the team that's going to be the team that's going to be the team that's going to be the team that's going to be the team that's going to be the team that's going to be the team that's
