00:00Noor Ashraf from Jeddah Saudi Arabia after doing the Ruku when we stand should we again
00:08tie our hands or should we keep them free at the sides the question posed by Noor Ashraf is that
00:19after we get up from the Ruku in our salah should we tie our hands on the chest or should we keep
00:27it at the sides regarding where should we keep our hands after we get up from the Ruku according to
00:37majority of the scholars after you get up from Ruku we should keep our hands on the sides according to
00:45Imam Abu Hanifa according to Imam Malik according to Imam Shafi the view is that we should keep our
00:53hands at the sides after I get up from Ruku as far as the view of Imam Ahmed ibn Humbal is concerned he
01:01had two views that if you want to keep it at the side if you want to tie it on the chest keep it on
01:08the chest even that is permissible there yet there are some scholars who say that after Ruku the hands
01:18should be kept on the chest this the drive there are various hadith we say that in the Ruku your
01:27hands should be on the knee in the sujood your hands should be on the ground in jaloos while sitting
01:34fatayat you keep your hands on their thighs in Kaya your hands your right hand should be above your left
01:42forearm and this all of us agree all the Muslims agree there are various hadith which says that in
01:48Qiyam your right hand should be above your left forearm this is a now majority of the scholars what they
02:00say in Qiyam yes we have to keep your right hand over the left hand but when we get up from Ruku that
02:09is not Qiyam the other scholars the minority number what they say that when you get up from Ruku when you
02:17stand up even that is Qiyam so here the scholars differ majority they say that when you get up from
02:24Ruku that is not part of Qiyam it is just in between portion after getting up from Ruku and before going
02:31into Sajda but the other group which is a minority they say no even this is Qiyam therefore we are going
02:38to keep a right hand over the left hand further is mentioned in Hadith of Sahih Bukhari point number one
02:45hadith number eight to eight that the Prophet peace be upon him when he got up from the Ruku his vertebra came
02:58back to the normal position then one more hadith in Sunan Ibn Maja or number one hadith number eight six three
03:14where it says that Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him when he got up from his Ruku all his bone returned to
03:24its position now the majority of the scholars who say that the hand should become on the side they said
03:33yes here it says the bones return to its original position that is the normal position at the side the
03:41other group he said that it returned to the original position means where were the bones before the
03:48person went into Ruku it was on the chest but what they fail to realize that the first hadith of Bukhari
03:56it says in the normal position the vertebra at the backbone will go to the normal position so this hadith
04:03also when it says returns it means return to the normal position not the position before the normal
04:09position and the normal position is hands on the side so here the scholars are divided among the
04:15scholars who say that the hand should be kept on the chest right over the left forearm right hand over
04:23the left forearm after you get up from Ruku our scholars like sheik bin baas the sheikh taimi these scholars
04:33say that your hand should be on the chest after Ruku but upon sheik Nasrud in Albani he said no if you
04:42in his book on the prophet's prayer he says that there is no hadith at all there is no evidence from from the
04:54messenger of Allah or from any of the sahabas that after Ruku you have to keep the hands on the chest and he
05:00categorically says that it should be on the side to give the answer this is a very minor issue and I feel
05:11that it's a minor issue though the majority of the scholars say that it should be at the side but if
05:16someone keeps on the chest it is not a major issue not that the salah will not be accepted or just a
05:22minor issue so those people who keep on the side should not criticize those people who keep the hands on the
05:27the chest after getting from Ruku and those who keep it on the chest should not criticize those people
05:32who are keeping on the sides but regarding the question the majority of the fuqa than the scholars
05:38all the first three emma's and and emma the humble melabhi allah mercy on him according to national
05:50albani though he said that you can keep the hands on the sides on the chest he always kept you on the
05:56side according to sheik Nasrud albani so he said that was his opinion but his practice was keeping on the
06:02sides and that is the correct opinion according to national albani but whatever the difference is there
06:07we muslims should not fight over it it's a minor issue hope the answer is the question
06:12assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh
