00:20in surah al-asr chapter 103 verse number one two three we say is wal-asr inna al-insana

00:26fix illa lethina aminu wa aminu salihat wa tawassu bilhaq wa tawassu bil sabr that by the token of time

00:34man is verily in a state of loss except those who have faith those who have righteous deed those

00:40who are the people to truth and those who are the people to preach their perceivings for any

00:44human need to go to jannah there are minimum four criteria required imam having faith

00:50aminu salihat have righteous deed watawassu bilhaq and watawassu bil sabr enjoining people to the truth

01:01that is dawa and isla and enjoining people to patient and perceivings if any one of these four criteria is

01:09missing under normal circumstances you shall not go to jannah if allah wants to forgive you and put you in

01:15jannah that is prerogative but normal circumstances all four are required imam righteous deed dawa isla

01:22and in inviting people to patient and perseverance the other question that if you say the shahada will

01:28you go to jannah it is normally said that a muslim when he knows he's going to die he should say the

01:34shahada because we are testifying that we are muslim the ruling is that if you are a muslim and if you

01:41say the shahada and you bear witness that there is no god worthy of worship except allah subhanahu ta'ala

01:46and the prophet muhammad peace be upon him is the messenger then inshallah you will go to jannah but

01:52if your amal is not good if you have not offered salad if you have a mistake so you may be punished for

01:58that so a muslim is if he does the good deeds more and if allah forgives his other sins he will go to

02:08jannah directly but if a person has done lot of bad deeds and if allah doesn't forgive so he will go to

02:14jannah he will pay for the things he has done has alcohol gambling and then finally one day inshallah

02:23if he is a muslim if he said the shahada he will go to jannah as far as a non-muslim

02:30for a non-muslim who says the shahada dead before dying then if he says the shahada before dying much

02:40before the hour of death comes then inshallah all is previous and the forgiven a person who is a non-muslim

02:49who accepts islam before dying all is previous and the forgiven but if he accepts islam at the last moment

02:56of death when the malkum was already come when the angel of death is all descended and he's about to

03:01die then it will not be accepted and this example is given in the quran that when firon when he followed

03:10muslim and the people he wanted to kill them the muslim parts the sea firon and an army follow him then

03:18when when moses will be upon him muslim and his people when they cross the sea the sea again closes

03:29and firon and his army drowns while drowning firon says i believe in allah but that is too late and

03:36allah says in the quran in surah unus chapter number 10 verse number 92 that we shall keep the body of

03:43firon preserved as a sign for posterity and today we know that the body of firon of rameses ii has

03:52been mummified it's available in the museum in egypt as a sign for the humankind that this for the firon

03:59who are the tagood he called himself god and then he was punished so if at the last moment just before

04:07dying if a non-muslim says the shahada because of fear of death then it will not be accepted but if

04:13a non-muslim before dying many hours before or many days before or many years before if he says

04:21all his previous sins are forgiven and inshallah he will go to jannah then depending upon the deeds that

04:28he does from the time he says the shahada till his death will be accounted for and then allah will take

04:33the decision but for a muslim if he knows he's dying he should see to it that he has the kalama the shahada

04:40on his tongue because that is the best while you're dying you're giving the shahada and proclaiming that

04:47there's no one body of worship except allah subhanahu ta'ala and prophet muhammad is the messenger of allah
