00:00During the middle of the day when it's hot and the sun's out they're kind of just seeking shade
00:11but during early morning and during the late afternoon they kind of en masse come out and
00:16just are marching basically slowly across the landscapes, over the roads, through gardens,
00:22all the way down to the coast. Some people might think they're a nuisance
00:29but most of us think they are a bit of a privilege to experience. They're indiscriminate so whatever
00:35they need to go over to get to the shore they will go over it so if you leave your front door open
00:40you're going to come home and have a whole bunch of red crabs in your living room so
00:44we do have to think about the way we kind of live during that time. Sometimes some people if they
00:50need to drive their car out of the driveway in the morning they've got to rake themselves out or
00:55they're not going to be able to leave the house without injuring crabs so yes they do change the
00:59way we live during this time we just have to be very mindful of that. We actually spend a lot of
01:05our time early in the morning and late in the afternoon after work raking the busiest roads to
01:10allow cars to go through so that we don't impact crowds too much and also lots of community members
01:15and local businesses do the same which is fantastic.
